Exterior Simple but elegant . I've got the 2014 model. The new one is'nt much different...
People say that it looks like its sibling Vento .. But no , It actually looks like its Cousins , of the Audi Family!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Highly Comfortable. Lacks sunroof (does'nt matter me !). Plenty of knee room ! The dealer offered a Blaupunkt car system, which solved all the issues of lacking Rear view camera,Bluetooth Handsfree calling etc. which the Comfortline lacks.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Words cant describe it . Just WoW ! City : 13km/l . Highway : 17.5km/l.
Ride Quality & Handling Just awesome!
Final Words Its just a superb car with A4 styling and A3 engine. Go for it ! Its worth what you spent for !!!! No doubt.
Areas of improvement None. But to say, Good but expensive service every year.

Exterior Nice exterior, good paint quality, Bice alloy wheel design, bi xenon head lights.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Good quality interiors, good space and great comfort in its class.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great performance, decent fuel economy & The DSG automatic gearbox is amongst the best in the business and offers supremely smooth shift quality. With a light foot, the DSG upshifts at a really low rpm. This keeps the drive relaxed and also maximizes fuel efficiency. On the other hand, keep the accelerator buried into the floor in “S” mode, and the Jetta will shift at anywhere between 4,600 – 5,000 rpm, with lightning quick upshifts that are impossible to replicate in a manual. Downshifts at high-speed in kick down mode do result in a lag though; if in a hurry, use the paddle shifters. The paddle shift function is fairly obedient, and will even allow for aggressive downshifts. Using the paddle shift + S mode is fun on your favourite country road. But, for most other driving conditions, just let the computer control the excellent DSG gearbox. DSGs are generally considered to be a generation or two ahead of what the competition offers. Just hope that this gearbox doesn’t get the same reliability complaints that have been reported in other VW group cars. The 6 speed manual transmission is decent to use, though GTO adds that it didn’t feel as slick / smooth as the one in the Yeti. The clutch is light enough and doesn’t require much effort to engage. Note that the top 3 ratios of the manual are overdrive.

Drive quality is really good, The engine and gearbox and driveabilty. All are awesome. It is drivers car. The car is rock solid around the bends at 180kmph. I love my car only for its drivability.
Small issues that increases the TOTAL COST of ownership. everyyear apart from the 15-18k on the servicing there would be an additional average spend of 20k on the vehicle. Sometimes it is the break pads. Sometime it is some electrical issue. The battery always geos down every winter if you dont use the car for 3-4 days (that annual vacation that we take around christmas/newyear).
Major maintanence issues:
1) Roof cloth came down in the 5th year of usage and car is around 55,000 km running = INR 40,000
2) The paint peeled off in the second year = 12,000
3) The break pads and front shock absorbers = 20,000
4) Tyers wornoff in 4yr... = 40,000
5) Some part to deal with breaking = 15,000
So folks to conclude...
Buy this car only after you factor in a big bite in your wallet for maintenance...

I bought a Passat three years back. It was my worst decision. It is an apology to German technology. In three years they have replaced two electronic module, alterantor, comprseeor, rear camera, fly wheel., Blower motor, cooloing water pump. The senior management incl MD do not respond to mails. They are asking me to change my brake pads and discs every 25,000 km. I have not changed even onec on my Toyota car after 65,000 km. The service centre claims that the xtended warranty is only for parts and not labour. The servicing has to be done every 15,000 km. Just service bill will be close to Rs 50,000 and you can be sure they will find another 50,000 as replacements. This for a high end German car.
I presume the story is same for Polo, Vento and other cars. Do not get fooled by initial car features. The total cost of ownership of VW cars is too high. I wonder how VW in Germany are accepting this poor quality.

All jetta cars will have ac problem after 3 years and have to change compressor and blower. It will cost one lakh. Service cost will be very high after 45000 kims. Very costly to maintain it after 3 years.but it's a safety car and no doubt about it. Better provide extended Warrenty for 5 years or improve ac and blower quality.
