      Buying experience was good.Now l came to know that y it is said kiss french and drive German.looks goods.l had petrol version which on highway driving by cruise control gives mileage of 22 to 24 km.As cons leg room is slightly conjusted.but finally l recommend this car.l had only drive 2200km and first service is after 6 months after purchase.

      Exterior 4/5. Awesome.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 5/5 Extremely premium.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 5/5. 110 bhp TDI with 250Nm Torque is real muscular/powerful.

      Ride Quality & Handling 5/5.

      Final Words The most powerful yet safest car in sub-4 meter sedan segment.

      Areas of improvement Rear side design. It should have been something very similar to Vento.

      I have waited 8 months (from Nov 2016) and was very eager to book the new Dezire because of a new design. But when they released Dzire, one of my friend working in Maruti dealership told me not to take Dzire because of poor buld quality. He suggested Aspire & Ameo. Took test drives in several compact Sedans; I choose Ameo the best in that category. Thanks to VW engineering. Way ahead of Suzuki! I would also request Maruti lovers (probably because of Mileage) to test drive VW and Ford. You will feel the difference.

      Purchased VW Ameo highline disel dsg . It's 4 lakh cheaper than vento and offer no single less feature. Best fro enthusiast. Most powerful disel engine I'm segment. Best automatic gearbox available. Engine is bit noisy and exterior are average. Rear space is good for two. But best driving experience and security features.

      I got this car 4 months ago. Have driven 6000 kms. The variant I bought was higline MT diesel.

      Looks: Fantastic from the front but disappointing from the rear.

      Features: Nice first in class features.

      Interiors: This is probably the reason to consider this car.quality of plastics is top notch.

      Engine: Upto 1800 rpm engine is lethargic but after that it pulls cleanly upto 4200 rpm Gear box is also good.

      Ride & handling: Handling of this car has to be its best bid It remains stable upto 130 after that you might feel uncomfortable Ride is good too but I have driven i20 before buying this car & I have to say its no match to that car in ride department.

      Economoy: I consistently got 12-13 km/l in the city & 15-17 on highways.

      Space: The worst car in the segment in this department. Last words: If you want a spacious & economical family car Ameo isn't for you But if you love driving then this is the car for you.

      When I thought of upgrading from my Ritz VDI I was pretty much determined for an automatic one. Being well used to Maruthi my first choice was Dzire ZDI AMT. Had my Ritz evaluated for sale and took a test drive of Dzire AMT on same day. I had never experienced an automatic car before and thought the shifts which felt inside the cabin was normal. Later I had a deep search on net regarding automatics and made my mind to test drive DSG automatic Ameo. It was a real change and the power from 109bhp engine which I felt during overtake was mind blowing and we can't even notice the gear shifts. In Kerala we have roads with many ups n downs and the hill hold control feature, which I think is a must for automatic cars, is a real boon. Though the boot is only 330l we can completely fold back seat for a bigger luggage space which is also unique. Just open n hold the hood n you will feel the quality of metals used in this car. Also Ameo comes feature laden which even the Vento lacks. On the down side we have some what cramped rear seat which matters if you are above 6ft and also I felt the suspension to be on stiffer side which on other hand helps for enhanced stability on curves. Overall this is one of the best choice in compact sedan segment and indeed the best choice for an automatic car in that segment.

      Performance wise I don't have any issue with Ameo. It is the best in class. But the after sale service in Chennai TVS SUNDARAM VOLKSWAGEN is worst. Below is my experience in detail. They deserve only 0 star. Since there is no option of 0, I am bound to give 1. I had few complaints with my 6 month old Ameo car(engine is more greasy and the paint overcoat is peeling from front left side door). When I check with the service guy he was saying it's just overcoat and the other guy(painting guy) he was ready to fix, we were about to leave the car in the service center. And there was one more guy his name is Prakash, he simply came and spoke like stupid. He don't even know how to talk to the customer. He didn't even ask what's the issue. He just blindly started saying we cannot fix better take your car, then we tried to explain the issue. Even after explaining he was saying that we applied some solution on the car that is why the overcoat is peeling but we didn't apply any solution. He was keep on saying that no you applied something on the car. If that is the case then the overcoat has to peel in other places too. He was not ready to help. Even after knowing from friends and review that Volkswagen TVS sundaram mount road is worst in after sale service, we took the car from that showroom and they proved that they are worst than what I read from the review. Based on my experience request you all not to go TVS Sundaram VOLKSWAGEN. They will please before buying a vehicle but after the sale they are least bothered. I reported to their customer care too till now there is no response from their end.

      One of best compact sedan in india built quality is super and racing car compare to other cars. Mileage in highway 20kmpl with ac one one thing I missed day running light and back rest. If u buy i-phone x price 1lakh dont see the RAM only 3 GB in SAMSUNG IN 70K will find 6GB RAM its depend on you what do you want.

      Bought it on dec31 2016 and delivered on the next day. Driven more than 20k. Never made a fuss. Cruise control is cool to have. 6 air bags + rear disk + EBD is worth considering in next upgrade. 13kmpl in city and 18 - 20 kmpl in highway at 120-140 kmph. Pickups super fast after 100 with turbo activated.

      I bought Petrol version but engine noise abnormal while exelerating, like in diesel version. Also feel that AC noise higher too. Moreover on complaining, dealer/Service Centre not ready to listen at and advising it normal in all VX cars. Steering is also hard and clutch setting is also improper. This type of sound I have never experienced in any other brands. Ameo is considered a Premium car from VX but due to engine noise driving has become unpleasant. Somebody advised me that while running car engine gets extra loads and hence noise abnormally. I have lost my confidence in VX for their further help for any improvement. Can anyone guide and help in the matter to get rid from engine noise. VX also not providing Pre Delivery Inspection Report of my car. I strongly feel that Mody Auto, Borivali (West) have sold me defective piece. Also urge CARWALE to please advise on the matter.Exterior.
