Exterior
Very sporty and stylish. Chrome finish makes the BEAST more polished. Front grill makes this agressive and dynamic. Wider and longer then outgoing one.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior is 5/5, good leather finishing, in-dash navigation and audio system, creative effort on MID, Steering is more better with friendly controls, electronic adjustable seats and rich tone.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
2.8 L Diesel engine is very less noicy and good powerful system. RWD, AWD on High and Low are well designed. Good power and excellent on/off road runner.
Ride Quality & Handling
Very comfortable, good and easy control, no unstability feeling, making turns at high speed doesnot make this machine unstable. Braking is very improved. Steering this BEAST is quite easier now. All in all feel very comfortable driving my 4x4 AT
Final Words
I must say this is a very good engineering from Toyota to continue their market share in SUV segment for this price range. When I drive this machine, i just feel very relaxed and comfortable and donot even mind the 10 kmpl fuel economy. :). I simply enjoy this.
Areas of improvement
With this price range, i feel 3 things can be added in upcoming versions 1. More 3rd row seating space. 2. Sunroof and 3. Power button for third row seat fold. However any SUV lover will not mind to buy Fortuner eventhough these 3 things not there. It just let you feel KING of ROAD.

Exterior Good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good Features but not premium comfort. Is bumpy and steering is hard for both 4X4, 4X2 AT & MT models. This vehicle is ok for those who have drivers and are used to using the vehicle from back seat. Not suitable for self driven as its rough and coarse.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very hard gearbox and steering.Even AT variant is noisy and hard. Engine becomes noisy at 1000RPM. Seats are average compared to Altis,Camry, Elantra.Can be improved.
Doesnt come with mats and other accessories. These will be charged in addition.
Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality is average. It is bumpier than Maruti swift. Gives jerks on potholes. Vibrates on coarse roads.
Final Words Not worth for 36 Lac vehicle. If priced at this range then engine, comfort and suspensions needs to be worked upon.
Areas of improvement Its suspensions needs to be worked upon. Engine needs to be made silent by adding more dampeners in the firewall and muffler areas. Vibrations are felt right through the steering column til the steering wheel.

Looks service and buying experience great. Very bumpy ride when Offroading or poor surface. Needs better automatic transmission. Rear seat passenger feels claustrophobic. Dark interior leather upholstery doesn’t suit indian climate. Fortuner is less driver and passenger friendly when compared to pajero sport even though it’s priced higher.
