A new users review

 

Exterior The Etios exterior is quite satisfactory. Though it gives an impression of being bulky , it has been designed well.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent. Roomy interiors especially for the long-legged passenger sitting behind. The upholstry is good upto V. The red and black colour tone in Vx look awful. A USB port must be provided by default on the music system. The centralized locking system must work automatically when the ignition is turned on.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Must say that I am disappointed with the engine noise. The petrol version sounds like a diesel engine. This is below the expectatins of a Toyota product. End of the day , after a long drive there is that feeling that the smoothness of a petrol engine is just not there. The mileage is hyped up. In actual fact I an not getting more than 11 km in city roads.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Good except for the diesel enginelike noise. The pick up is excellent.

 

Final Words Please do something about the noise.

 

Areas of improvement Toyota ( in the Middle East ) has a practice of supplying a small tin of paint along with the vehicle. This is an excellent idea to allow the customer to patch up minor abrasions. Can Toyota India do the same please.
