      Exterior The look of the vehicle is so good and excellent with a broad front view for the car. But the limitatin is they put only one window visor for cost limitation.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior AC vents are many. The cooling is also good. only there are no extra features like seat cover, side skirts, radio aerial etc.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox All are ok except the engine noise at high speed & tightness of clutch is high.

      Ride Quality & Handling Absouletely good controls & handling is very soft and smooth.

      Final Words A class worth for money for the middle class people and smooth riding. But still toyota would have given some benefits for the buyers. Lets see of what will come in the forth coming days.

      Areas of improvement Engine noise, Clutch has to be made free, rear side visibility from driver seat has to made large, few extra accessories can be provided.

      Exterior

      Its a cute car with smiley face.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Interior is not at all bad. Even the quality of plastic is quite good. I dont know why people are giving such a negative publicity about it.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Engine is adequately powered and at any instance you dont feel lack of power. Fuel economy is amazing, i am able to get 24 to 27kmpl on highways, I have driven 11K kms till now and i check FE every time i refill the tank. in the city limits FE is a bit less its around 15kmpl may be because  most of the time I drive during peak hours. Gearbox transmission is very crisp, and accurate, its a pleasure to change the gears.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Ride quality is very good, brakes are confidence inspiring, ABS works really well. Steering also very accurate. If the road is not smooth then a bit of tyre noise enters inside thats the only issue i have found till now, not a major concern.

      Final Words

       Its a family sedan and value for money. Major highlight of this car is the space it offers. head room, legroom, rear seat leg room, boot everything is more than enough.

      Areas of improvement  

       I feel the quality of interior plastics is acceptable, but Toyota can add some more colors to it and make it visibly appealing. Climate control  and electrically adjustable ORVM will make it a complete sedan.

      Exterior Its good from the outside, nice airodynamic design, perfectly fits the indian roads. perfect as a family car and the fuel economy that indian customers expect.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good view, nice glovebox, good rear seats, plastic quality looks better than Maruti & Hyundai.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good Engine, and very good feul economy, better than the good old Accent.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride and good handling at high speed as well. Even with that big boot its drive is very good.

       

      Final Words Truly car for the Indian Customer, suits the middle class pocket. People who are looking for small car can think of going for this sedan in the same or little bit more price.

       

      Areas of improvement Boot design and twin vipers. Little bit of feaures in the lower model, i think power steering is the basic thing now a days, and it should be as default even in lower models.

      My buget was 6.5 lak I was bit confused wheather to go for swift dezire vxi or etios g. really speaking the design of swift dezire is horrible but swift is awesome. I had no other option rather than swift dizire in that price range but toyota launched its etios which is much better than sdiz. and I was thinking soon swdiz will become autos moving on the roads with different colors as we swift has already become. The boot space of etios is nice and resale value will also be good than swdiz.

      I took a test drive and it is good. and some of the toyota dealers like harsha toyota hyderabad ask us to by 30000 accessiories compulsory with any toyota car u buy dont belive its fake when i inquired with dealer he told that it is not at all compulsory.

      And I would like to know when etios will available in csd canteen...

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fully comfort in reliable at the mentioned cost.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up is excellent, gear box is in comfort position.

      Final Words Fantastic exterior. No any car below 10 lac can give such superb dynamic exterior. Interior is disappointing but good milage, Toyota's brand name and fairly reasonable price makes it a best car in its segment. Best value for money. And who compare it with Logan???- Go n get your eyes checked. Deservered to be a competitive car. If the exterior doesn’t bowl you over, the Etios’ interior certainly will. There is not a shadow of a doubt that the Etios is the most comfortable car in its class. The rear seats with their large squabs, perfect backrest angle and the right amount of cushioning are supremely comfortable. If there is one criticism, it’s the flat design of the back seat which doesn’t have deep contours to hold you snugly. But there’s a reason for that. The Etios is a genuine five-seater. The rear seat is remarkably wide to easily accommodate three people but what makes it even better for the middle passenger is a near-flat floor tunnel which intrudes by only two inches into the cabin.

       

      Areas of improvement Interiors should be of fibres except plastics.

      Exterior Looks better but not best.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior sitting spacious and ideal for small family sedan.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Petrol engine  a bit noisy.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Good I have driven more than 400 Kms in city area absolutely no problem.

       

      Final Words Etios - G is better car in sedan category developed by Toyota, one should be satisfied with brand and money you are paying. Also, one should not compare with other luxurios car. In 6,15000 what you will get. Don't criticise company better give simple suggestion for area of development within same budget. Also, details of specification regarding audio should be given. for eg. FM antenna cable is already laid or not. so, that no confusion.

       

      Areas of improvement Exterior can be made more good looking can be made more aerodynamic design and slight dashboard should be improved, seat can also be made more comfortable. Also, a simple good looking clock can be installed on dasboard. Also, a display for external temperature can be incorporated.

       

      Fuel economy 15 Km/litre, overall better should not comapre with other higher version carLooks so so but not bad lets say

      Exterior Exterior is some like improved version of mahindra logan, not very appealing, ground clear is very poor.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are comfortable but leather material is not upto the mark, dash board stuff is not good at all, the speedo meter is like it was in the old fiat.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very effective😄 not for the sports car lover just as a performance vise, 90 bhp As the average is concerned the person said me it delivers with ac on in the city is 14 to 15. gaer shift is quite smooth coparing with its companion.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling The best part I liked was that Ac fan was in full and I was climbing on the road n the person adjacent to me said u can drive this it in any gear so from second i directly shifted on 5th gear(m at speed 38-40 when is shifted n note i was climbing the road) you won't belive no knocking at all it was just moving like a automatic transmission this make my face smile.SO THIS MEANS THAT IN THE CITY YOU ARE THE KING because where you need to drive bumper to bumper driving you dont have to struggle for gear shift, shift can be done only at the time of overtaking so, if you are planing for city ride where traffic is like jam packed here this Etios can be the king.

       

      Final Words So my final words are this that if you are planning to buy this than please go for the top variant because its top model is only value for money, also in the base model which can cost you 5.50 lak is not a worth buying because there is no power steering in the base model, and for comfort and average and for performance you can go for this but you have to make yourself prone to its interiors like the speedometer, dash board and auckward ac wents they just look like a that they are fitted externally after fitting the dash board.

       

      Areas of improvement Exteriors, plastic material, leather, it should have a foot rest when I was driving i was searching where it has gone😦and most importantly THE BREAKS, I drove the top variant that is VX, it has got ABS but before I go further if you have ever driven the ABS version just think and feel n try to remember the soft touch and hard breaking, here you realy wont feel like it has got ABS, when i slightly applied break i felt like my old accent which has got only power break n i didn't get the feel what we get with the ABS that is you have to apply breaks like a normal power break it doesn't give you the feel of ABS. SO, according to me breaks should have been improved, and also some boot space, and tyres space.

      I test drove the top end Etios today in the afternoon. I purposefully took the test drive in the afternoon at 2PM as I wanted to check the effectiveness of the AC when it is most needed. I also got couple of my friends to accompany me as I wanted to check the overall performance of the car under fully loaded condition. I currently drive Spark LT which is a decent car, good handling. But I was facing the above mentioned problems (AC performance in the afternoon and car performance under fully loaded condition) and that's why I want to upgrade to a more powerful car. This is what I found during the test drive:
      - Overall handling is good. We drove on kachcha road and felt very less jerks.
      - Seats are comfortable but not as comfortable as my Spark's. The tapestry on the seat was cheap. The interiors are average. It didn't give the feeling that I was sitting in a sedan.
      - Accelerator, clutch and brakes were good.
      - Gear shifting was not as smooth as on my Spark
      - I have comparatievly small stature at 5'6" so space provided on driver's seat typically fits me well and so was the case here. My view outside the car and through the mirrors were good
      - The indicator and wiper controls on the opposite side of what it is in Spark. In fact, I would say Spark has it on the wrong side because all other cars have indicator on the right while wiper on the left of the steering wheel. So this is fine but was surprised to see that there is only one wiper blade like Nano. I don't know if that can cause any problem but I am sure there would be comparatively larger areas on the glass that single wiper wouldn't be able to cover. Anyways, knowing Toyota, I guess they would have checked this aspect and passed it only when satisfied.
      - AC was good. It took about 3-4 mins to sufficiently cool the interior but after that every area of the car was cooled. I wanted Etios to score better here as compared to my spark otherwise what's the use of its 1500cc engine and score it did.
      - However, when AC was ON, the pickup was not so great as all the power was shifted to running the AC. I had to press on the accelerator harder to extract more power. Etios was just slightly better as compared to my spark. I wanted it to do much better. This has been one of my main reasons for upgradation.
      - I was told that with AC ON, in the city it gives about 14-15kmpl. If that is true, I would say WOW. Its better than many hatchbacks.
      - The space at the back is good. 3 people could sit without any problem with good legroom.
      - The boot is spacious as well
      - Tubeless tyres are good and this has those.

      Overall, Toyota has created a car for the Indian middle class family which is price sensitive and not only wants the price of the car to be within their budget but also wants a good mileage so that it doesn't pinch them in the long run. This car is not for those for whom driving is a passion.

       i bought new Etios G from Chandra Toyota, Jaipur who are selling with Temporary No. Of Udaipur

      and not transperent in their dealing, charging something else without brek-up in receipt, telling somthing else. compelled me to file litigation, not bothered even to listen after delivery of vehicle.NOTHING MINUS IN TOYOTA,NOTHING PLUS IN DEALERSHIP

      Exterior Exteriors are not at all good. the cuttings are very bad and no proper style. rear bumper is not that good. there is no gap betwene the tyres and body. door handles did not set to the car.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard is useless..plastic quality is very bad..the speedo meter in the middle of dashboard makes the interiors look dirty and ugly...ac inside the gloove box doesnt work properly.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is a bit ok. but still it makes a bit noise in first three gears.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is not that good.it's a bumpy car like qualis. the back always experience a bump whenever goes into a bump..it's difficult to handle for beginners.

       

      Final Words Toyota needs to develope and my suggestions to toyota are first to launch a car which can satisfy the wants of people and second is toyota need to think properly before launching a car.

       

      Areas of improvement Exteriors, interiors, style and engine.

       

      the only thing i like is its space and comfort..i don't like anything in this car except space and comfort..
