I bought TATA zest XM petrol version on March 2017, drove 6600 km, car exterior and interior is good, but main problem is milage, in city it gives average 12, outstation drive it gives 14 km only, where TATA perfectly failed in providing milage car as they declared while went to purchase. Other aspects about this car good.

Pros - Its been now 2 years I have been using tata zest car (xm petrol) . Look wise its very good, its stylish, comfortable and spacious. Performance is also good, EXCEPT MILAGE. Cons - Poor mileage, My car is giving mileage 8/9 km/l in city with AC and on Highway its giving around 10/11 km/l with AC. Its very poor. On the document this car has mileage of 15 km/l in city and 18 km/l on highway. I was expecting at least 13 km/l in city and 15 km/l on highway with AC on, but its too low than expected. I would recommend people to go for diesel version instead of petrol.

Buying Experience was awesome.. Ride Quality is good enough.. Jerks are not felt that much.. Driving dynamics is superb..Even after driving on 140-150 the vehicle will not feel like its shaking.. Looks are great..but interior plastic quality is not that good... Performance in city mode is okay till when the A/c is off..When it comes to mileage its the worst car ever.. It gives 12-13 kmpl.. with A/c On highways.... It lags pickup when you turn on the A/c.. Maintenance is neither so high nor so low... Till now many parts of my car has been covered under warranty..so i cant say much about it.. Pros: Exterior Build Quality is best in its segment.. Music system and Air Conditioner is awesome.. Light steering Cons: Body noise arises after few years.. Poor mileage Lags pickup when A/c is on..

Tata zest is good car in its segment engine is so powerful look are so good no pros and cons services is so good so comfortable in its segment buying experience is so good buils quality is so good music system good in its segment engine sound so good multiple driving modes like eco city sport.

It's a very nice car. The TataZest is an amazing car. It's just ok when taking about looks, but the engine performance is exceptionally nice. Though the great and the clutch are a bit hard, they could be better. It's serving is very affordable and it doesn't need any special maintenance. Overall a very nice car and of course a value for money product also feature loaded machine. But the looks could be made better and also the clutch and the gears could be made smooth.

We bought our tata zest in 2014, a month afrer its launch. Intially we were lil skeptical about its performance and after sale service but today i can say it is the best decision we made. Its a amazing car, seating comfort and suspension are better than any other car in its segment. FE is bit low but i am happy.

I booked the car silver colour xm varient then my loan is passed i submitted down payment of 2 lakh but so poor services of tata after one month they told they have only white colour

Very bad in long term stability. Every 2-3 months something or the other in Zest goes down & needs to be replaced i.e. clutch, electric wiring, fuses list goes long. Not recommended

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No pick up, ver very poor mileage, I get 12 kmpl. but my question what will you do with good interior, good music system when you cannot enjoy the ride, the car sucks when we try to slow down the speed due to a bump then you will have to put the car in 1 gear so that you can move it forward, they claim 17+ average it never gave me above 13 kmpl.
