Exterior Styling is very good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space in the car is very impressive, driving modes features not available for this price in any other companies
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Mode wise performance is good, gear box is ok but i regret the fuel economy part seriouly I have issues in this area its guzzling fuel as old diesel (mine is petrol) engine, i can feel the pinch the valet. seriously tata has to come with something new so they have digital fuel gauge where company technicians have no idea of how much fuel is filled/left, happens when you too buy.
Ride Quality & Handling Till now ride and handling has been good either on high way or city.
Final Words A very good car in its segment.
Areas of improvement
1) need standard bottle holders (1ltr) inside the car, you can only carry and keep half litre bottles.
2) luggage compartment door springs make noise on bumpy roads.

I am using XMS diesel and its been over an year.
Before I start, just want to give an insight as why and how i drilled down my search to Zest when other vehicle from maruti and ford were available.
I rate all these vehicle's diesel variant on 6 parameters vs purchase price and my daily drive is 175 km.
1. Safety - extremely safe as metal quantum is more than fiber. This giant don't leave the roads.
2. Mileage - I am not a racer so do not need instant pick up and racing car attributes.
3. Steering controls and seat adjusting facility - Superbly presented in minimal cost.
4. Sound system - Harman. Too good.
5. Looks - Simple and compact.
6. Service cost and dealer support - Cost of service is low and dealer support in our town is OK. Tata zest surpassed all available models on five out of six and looks, as were not too important for me, scored a moderate number. Mileage which I get with AC is 24 KMPL on highways and 21 KMPL in cities. Not suitable for people who loves speed and thrills.

Exterior It is ok. I mean, you can see how it is except that I have lost wheel caps 3 times by driving 25,000 kms.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) AC, Music System, Watch all have a problem
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Bad - Gives me a 7 kml average. The build of the car is bad. It almost functions like an ambassador. Very very bad car overall. There is a constant petrol smell in the car. I plan to sell it very soon. Petrol smell, bad AC are my reasons to sell it.
Ride Quality & Handling Typical Tata - Bad Bad car
Final Words I have it since 2 years. Want to sell the car. I wish I never bought it.
Areas of improvement ALL. Please become better at servicing. Service centres are bad. I regret buying this car to a large extent. Wish I never made this purchase. Tata really needs to up their game. The car functions like an ambassador and trust me I have maintained it well. I am almost begging whoever is reading this to not buy Tata.

Exterior Excellent esthetic looks white colour looks a queen on the road.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its luxury to be inside you probably dont need a motel automatic climate control is a must have feature music system you will enjoy its functionality.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good for homely people its not a racer's car, excelent mileage i got 20.8kmpl averagefor 870kms trip. With full tank display showing still 80kms to fuel empty . My trip includes allkinds of trafic also ghat a road. Gearbox not very great.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good handling is excellent.
Final Words Donnt know about petrol version go for diesel its best i felt its best looks catch many eyes on the road its nor a routine look on the road at the moment you just love the music system touch and voice command is great
Areas of improvement Cabin noise can be improved its still felt inside, Lack of space for bottle holders and missig back armrest and cooled glove box.

Exterior The exterior was so much improved when compared to other siblings of tata, but could be better when compared to other brands. The ground clearence is awesome. You'll never have to fear when you see those heavy bumps on the road.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is superior than any other sedans in this class in quality, comfort, and elegance except which there is no bottle (1 ltr) stand anywhere. The engine sounds a bit, but not much audible inside upto 2500 RPM. The Harman audio and support system is awesome. It has everything in it. Touch screen could be more better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As you already know that the petrol engines give a performace than diesel, TATA ZEST diesel engine also gives a better quality of ride. It has a good pick-up (lesser than Swift 😟). Performance - wise it doesn't win the race with maruthi suzuki swift VDi. In this segement also its better than its siblings but not when compared with maruthi. Gearbox is smooth, fuel economy indicator shows that average milleage was 15 KM/ltr only. I rode upto 250 KMS till now. Hope it gets improved in future.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is above average. Good control of ride and handling is excellent. Inside the car, every thing is very quiet and awful. It has very heavy suspensions which eats all the shocks and gives you a smooth and pleasant ride.
Final Words Improved in each and every corner and the car performs very well. But the sales and sevice department are vey sluggish in promoting this product. Definatley you'll never regret for investing your money on Tata ZEST.
Areas of improvement The alloy wheels shown in the test ride are not same as the one that are produced currently. The 8 Spoke alloy wheels looks very elegant than the current 20 Spoked ones.

Exterior Good exterior looks. From all angles, the car looks lovely. Boot space is good. Car's Qshape looks superb. LED tail lamps add to the beauty. OVRM feature is quite good. 18 spoke alloy wheels make the car looks stunning.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome features. Good leg space. Seats are quite confortable. Ground clearance is good. Harman music system is awesome. the souns quality is marvelous.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox All good till now (purchased 1 week before only so will take time to judge on this).
Ride Quality & Handling Seems to be excellent. Suspension is quite good. No jerks at all.
Final Words Superior product from TATA. Go for the same if looking for sedan segment. Also want to mention that got nice customer experience while dealing with Concorde Motors, Baner, Pune. Will recommend this name if you want to go for TATA vehicle.

Exterior I own TATA ZEST XM PETROL variant I had driven it for 4000 km so far. Its superb car for drive and very comfortable, I booked on launch itself lcopmaring with amaze desire and xcent was my right choice buying this car instead of Desire, amaze and xcent, it can easily beat market leading cars in few aspects. Good exterior look n elegant lights.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox HAVE DONE 4000 KILOMETRS CITY AND LONG RIDES AND AVERAGE MILEAGE SHOWS 11KM/LITRE BUT LONG DISTEANCE WORKS OUT TO BE 15KM/LIT AT AVG SPEED 70 KM/HOUR GOOD ENGINE AND GEAR BOX GEAR SHIFTING IS EXCELLENT.

Areas of improvements City mileage to be looked in probably at the 3rd service at the year completion they may tune up engine probably should give fuel efficiency in city as promised.
