      Exterior Amazing looks for the segment. I loved ford figo, but because of few strong negative reviews, went for Tiago. and I am so glad about it. Styling is so good for this segment as well as above one.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superior quality than the cheap Maruti. You could feel it. Tata has put its heart in this car. Everything is thought about with absolutely no compromise on quality.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Have been driving for just a month. No issues with the power. Economy will be effective after first service. The number is still climbing up for me.

      Ride Quality & Handling No issues whatsoever. Ride quality is also good.

      Final Words I am glad to have gone for Tiago than the over expensive Swift or Baleno. Considering the quality, Tiago should have been over the other two. Go for it if you are looking for day to day city commute. you wont be disappointed.

      Areas of improvement A 4 cylinder engine would have completed the package.

      I am using this Tiago xz(Petrol) for more than one year. Plus:Handling, Space, riding comfort, music system. Minus: Fuel economy, service and NVH Economy is max 11- 12kmpl in city's and 15-16kmpl in highway with ac. I don't found much variation with city and eco mode. After my 3rd service also I am not getting any differences. Tata motors should cross check their economy comments. As usual Tata service is coming poor day by day. They are not properly attending customer complaints. For the same complaint I had to go personally 3 times. Still my issue is on. Vibration and dash board nose is more. Over all an average car.

      The main problem is very low mileage. My Tiago gives only 9 km per litre. Very unsatisfied about the performance. The company offers 16-18km/litre. Look, comfort are very good. City mode riding is smooth. Long-distance driving also.

      Exterior

      Excellent interiors & Solid bulit quality in this segment compared to others. you can really feel that stability of the car while driving in city or at highways, car picks up very well even at low rpms so no need to downshift.       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Spacious interiors, classy cabin, stylish seats are very much comfortable even for pepole above 6ft

       i am  6.3 ft tall can drive this car comfortably & the person around 5.11 can seat behind my

      driving seat with ease.      

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Very peppy engine, picks up very well at low rpms, smooth gear box with short throw,    

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Smooth & stady ride quality, almost 0 body roll 

      Final Words

      If you have budget about 6 lacs & looking forward to buy nice hatch with solid built quality then Tata Tiago XZ is an answer.

      Hiee friends this is to convey my msg to the buyers who want to buy tata tiago xt diesel variant, I driven 2000 km in 4 days in my new tiago vehicle I face so many problems.

      1. When I plug in car charger head lights are automatically oning.

      2. Too much of noice.

      3. Milage is also very low sales person told me that it gives up to 25 km but I was giving just 14 kmpl.

      4. Power windows also not working properly.

      5. Central locking not working By considering all the above issues with tata service centre in hyderabad tejaswini motors kphb Road, I faced a bad experience no one is experienced I didn't get any support from the service centre after service support is too bad. Finally they told me to wait for some days for the confirmation of tata manufacturers after that they take my vehicle for service now they added another problem i. e, without engine starting car charger was not working, if we plug Inn charger all the lights are automatically oning this is my situation so please don't buy Tiago my sinseour advice.

      Exterior

       Smart Looks and strong Body appeal.Tail lights are smartly put.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Good Interior but AC fan noise is untolerable. Five passengers can be accomodated. Suspension is good, small potholes are easily taken care off.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Most underpowered Engine which sounds like truck when 4 passengers sitting. I had visited mahabaleshwar and Uphill driving was a nightmare. The car just doesnt climb easlily. I had to constantly change gears and press accelarator constantly. You have to constantly press the accelator while driving else the car behind will start honking on you. Fuel economy on highways is 16kmpl and for city its 12kmpl.Even tata Indica can beat this Car in racing. Gearbox is smooth I will give 100 marks for it. I have driven 7000kms and planning to sell this vehicle asap.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Car is tooo heavy. So no body role. You feel safe in it

      Final Words

       Buy any other car but dont buy Tata Tiago Petrol

      Areas of improvement  

       Put some power in engine its most sluggish engine I have seen in my 20 yrs of driving Life

       

      LooksEngine is powerless, engine Noise, Poor Brakes.

      Exterior Definitely the best in it's class. Quite similar to Grand i10. Still the hexagonal front grill and head lamps enhance the looks.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Again for a car at this price range you cannot get more comfort than this. I am a hefty guy. 175 cms tall and 85 kg heavy. I can sit comfortably anywhere in the car. Driving is comfortable. Even a grand i10 owner admits that power steering is better in Tiago. Though AC cools the cabin very well it doesn't have rear vents. Hence when it is hot outside (around 35 degree even) and your vehicle is parked in sunglight for half an hour AC is unable to cool the cabin. If you have covered car parking well and good. Music system is un matched as everyone knows. Long drives are exciting in this car. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Typical 1.2 litres engine. Other than being slightly noisy (even petrol) no performance issue because of 3 cylinder engine. Gear box could have been placed near to steerting i.e. right below the music system (similar to i10) so that the co-driver can sit comfortably. It is slightly difficult if the co-driver is having a mischievous child.

      On highways if you drive at an average speed of 90 it gives you 20 KMPL and if you drive at 120+ it gives you 17-18 KMPL. In bumper to bumper city traffic you may expect around 10 KMPL and in sub urban rides you can expect around 13 KMPL for sure. 'Distance to empty' is not so dependable. So please go by fuel level indicator.

      Ride Quality & Handling I would really love to drive this car even in city. Features like reverse parking sensors are very useful for new drivers. Steering is a delight to turn. You can handle it with just one hand.

      Final Words If it is your first car and if you are oscillating between Celerio/Grand i10/ Tiago simply go for top end of Tiago Revotron XZ (or XZA)- Petrol. I dont have any idea about Diesel. Tata gives EVERYTHING for the money you pay.

      Areas of improvement

      1. Tata Authorized Service centers and NOT widespread. Of course people say that you can get Tata cars serviced anywhere however when the car is new the owners would not want to take a chance. I live next to Chennai still I have to travel around 20 KMS for a service center. After Chennai Chrompet the next authorised service center is said to be in Tindivanam which is more than 100 KMS from Chrompet! So certainly it needs to be improved.

      2. Gearbox placement - could have been placed just below the music system (similar to i10)

      3. ORVM -  The adjustment can be made from inside however we have to manually open the ORVM. It is not autmatically opening or closing when the engine is turned on or turned off.

      Of course the fascinating looks for under 6 lakhs segmentNo automatic open for ORVM even in top end

      Exterior The car looks very nice and clean from all angles. It's a contemporary design which will appeal for large sections of the public as well as can stay neutral for atleast a decade.Under the hood everything seems to be laid out well. The oil filter is easily accessible from top.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors were very impressive and as already indicated by many in this thread they look class above. A big jump for TATA.The fit and finish looks fantasticThe quality of plastics were very good and felt far better than even the BR-V which I happened to check just before this one.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Low end torque is low, but considering its segment and the fact that its a 3 cylinder engine, its decent enough. (Slight-Moderate) Vibrations can felt inside the cabin on gear lever and on clutch on low RPM's , but they wont bother you much as you go above 2k RPM. I am getting a fuel economy of around 18-19 kpl(mostly on highway), around 14-15 in city ,it will improve after 1st and 2nd service 'hopefully'.

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling is on par with most premium hatchback's. NO complaints here except for tyres , alloy wheels should be provided across all varients.

      Final Words Go for TIAGO if you're budget is below 5lacs, it offers more than its competitors(celerio,k10,etc..) at significantly lower prices.

      Areas of improvement Engine needs refinement, alloy wheels should be standard.

      Sturdy and well placed , smooth steering , spacious with no cost cutting in build quality.Low end torque, alloy wheels should be made standard across all varients

      I had bought a Tata Tiago XZ in Jul 2016 because the design and the features were attractive. However, the vehicle has been fraught with problems immediately after purchase.

      Three months after delivery of the vehicle the fuel pump broke down, which was replaced by the company, however, the dealership at Visakhapatnam took one week to get the spare from Pune, during which I had to bear the inconvenience of using a Taxi. That was not the end, six months down the line the clutch wire broke and I was stuck roadside, the company did fix it again and informed us that these are teething issues with a new launch.

      Now exactly after two years the battery has broken down and had to be replaced. The warranty provided by TATA is 18/21 months and therefore I had to spend Rs 6100/- for change of battery. Interestingly, the authorized service centre is replacing TATA batteries with Amaron batteries with a 2+2 year warranty, which suggests that TATA themselves aren't sure of their own product (Average battery life as per Exide website is 5 years).

      During the last two years the vehicle had to be sent to the workshop SIX TIMES. i.e. thrice for repairs and thrice for regular servicing. Despite being so regular with maintenance and driving very carefully within the city/ single handed, the performance has been very poor. Small parts like the door lock knob, the cabin light overhead switch is of poor quality and keep malfunctioning. I have owened other Indian and foreign branded cars like Mahindra, Hyundai, Honda and Maruti which have been much more reliable.

      I would not recommend this vehicle to my friends and family and to you as well. Except for the music system, the rest of the car is substandard. TATA should not attempt  manufacturing passenger vehicles if they plan to have poor quality standards.

       Engine Performance is Great ,Gear Box is smooth as gel.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       In slow speed the steering is very light as feather but when speed increases its get quite heavy really was suprised to see such a change in the steering wheel.

      Final Words

       Its a great car to buy with a small family drover around 945 kms in 3 days did the first trip from mumbai to kolhapur and back got a mileage of 24.9 KMPL driving comfort was great music system is way beyond our expectation its like a movie effect inside the car when you listen to music.

      Areas of improvement  

       Need to give some space between dead pedal clutch brake.Unlocking of back door is quite bit of issue when not used to this car
