Final Words CAR HAS ROUGH IDLING DURING FIRST START IN THE MORNING OR WHEN AFTER 3-4 HOURS, REPEATED COMPLAINTS TO DEALER AND TO TATA CUST. SUPP. YEILDED NO RESULT. MAKES PUFFING NOISE WHEN ACCELERATING AND SWITCHING OFF. SOUNDS HORRIBLE IF ONE RUNS AC WHILE IDLING. IT IS ACTUALLY AN EMBARASSMENT AND A RIP OFF. SUPENSION TOO NEEDS TO BE WORKED OUT. GEAR SHIFT IS NOISY AND ROUGH. (OUR JOHN DEERE TRACTOR IS SMOOTHER ). IT SO SEVERELY LACKS POWER AT LOWER END, GETTING IT TO MOVE FROM STAND STILL IS A PAIN. YOU JUST CANNOT START AND GO AWAY. EVEN WHILE DRIVING IN CITY BETWEEN 30-45 ONE CAN FEEL POWER FLUCTUATIONS.
WINDSHIELD IS OF LOW QUALITY AND IF YOU ARE USING SPECTACLES THEN YOU WILL FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. MOVE YOUR HEAD SIDEWAYS AND UP-DOWN AND YOU CAN SEE THE WAVERING VISION.
WORST IS NO ONE LISTENS NEITHER DEALER NOR TATA. I HAD SUBMITTED 20 VIDEOS OF CA SHOWING ROUGH IDLING, CAN YOU IMAGINE THEY DID NOT EVEN SEE IT. EVEN TATA CS EXEC ASHISH SHAH REFUSED TO SEE.
I AM GOING TO PAINT THIS CAR WITH SLOGANS TELLING PEOPLE NOT TO BUY AND RUN IT AROUND.
JUST WAIT FEW MORE WEEKS AND I WILL POST PICS AND VIDEOS. JUST DO NOT BUY.

There are many intelligent features like, while its raining, if you put in reverse gear, the back wiper will automatically get switched on.(Since the front wiper is engaged). There is a small hook near the passgenger seat to hold plastic covers without spilling contents. There is a small light in the boot space for convineance at night. The interior light is placed convinently so that any one can turm on them effortlessly. Follow me headlamps are a nice addition to people living in flats. There are lot many small handy features bundled throughtout the car.

Exterior Exterior build quality is good. But doors are hard while opening.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Door locks could have been more like modren cars instead of stick type. Also the plastic on the doors and dashboard other than the piano black could have been better. Seating is excellant. 5 adults can sit comfortably even in long drives.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Round trip to Mangalore to Bangalore gave me at 18 kmpl with AC ON for major part of the trip.
Ride Quality & Handling It was a smoot drive. Not even once did i feel insecure and out of control on the car. I could drive the Ghat section without much trouble.
But my elbow started to pain while handling with only right hand as there is nothing to support the hand. Telescopic streering is much needed in this car
Final Words All in all, a good deal for the money you pay. And all the features coming from a Indian manufaturer at global standards make you feel proud to be owner of the car.

Exterior A really eye cachy car, I have orange color XZ Tiago, and believe me people checked twice.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Marvellous quality, forget about any cheap meterial, everything feels premium and seems the car is actually more costly. Harman system is absolute delight for music lovers. Car is loaded with features. The park assist and its representation in music system's screen is super helpful for me. Cabin noise isolation is also very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is refined, not so noisy. Good for both city and highway. Fuel economy is good. Gearbox is smooth shift with short throw.
Ride Quality & Handling Car is stable and confortable at any Indian roads, potholes, big ditches you name it. Suspention system is what I love. Steering is very precise and responsive.
Final Words I am in love with the car. At 5.5 lakh on road (Kolkata) with all the features, no other car comes close of it. "Fully Satisfied" on my purchase decision.
Areas of improvement
1. AC is good enough, only at higher blower speed, blower makes some noise (yet not a deal breaker). 2. Dealership quality and their customer handeling ability is also needs to be improved, Otherwise product is fantastic.

It is a little noisy engine but being a 3 cylinder it is usual but hope still it need to improve, frequently gear shift is required some time even in normal traffice, fueal economy is not as spec, presently I drive around 1200kms and avrage is 12-13Kms, on highway I am getting 18-19Kms. but still for new car compare to spec it very less, hope it will improve after 1 or 2 service.
Ride Quality & Handling
Good on Highway but in city hard to drive, spacelly bumber to bumper traffic gears need to shift to 1/2 its give jerks & feels like it struggling and hard to drive.

Very Good car at in this segment and economy price which makes this is best car.
Areas of improvement
Rare Seats shoulder space should improve, NVH package also need to improve gear leaver vibrats you can feel during running specally when it is in lower gear.

Exterior
Tiago's designing gives a lot of premium feel. Very chic without being flashy, definitely stands out in the hatchback crowd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Very spacious which is always Tata Motors' forte. Mine is the Revotron XZ version, which is fully loaded with features and gadgetry. You just couldn't ask for more.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Performance is smooth and adequate for a 1.2 litres petrol engine, which is a great plus for city driving. The engine is a bit noisier than its Japanese or Korean counterparts and there is a continuous thrumming sound that creeps in the cabin. With the AC on, my car is giving 12.8 kmpl in the city and 15.6 on highway. Also, its only few days old, so I know mileage will go up after 2nd servicing.
Ride Quality & Handling
In Ride Quality & handling dept, Tiago can give any hatchback a run for its money. It is just top class !

Exterior Eye catching and bold look. In short, its really fantastoco. Muscular look with tough body with heavy look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice, spacious, use good material, full of features which one wants. More than value of money. Good utility space. Glowbox is there but not working well. Harman music system having excellent performance.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have ride it 2400 km in one month. I got maximum mileage up to 28 kmpl in petrol on highway without SCand 24.6 with AC. I got mileage 15 to 17 kmpl in city. Engine is slightly noisy but its acceptable against such a nice performance.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride and handling excellent. We feel safe when we ride up to 140 kmph. Handling, braking and CSC works nicely.
Final Words Really value of money. I am 100 % satisfied. They should improve aftersale service. But it's not too bad, acceptable. Its my dream car.

Starting from the Paint job till the final touch ups the exterior looks gives the car premium look, especially the Orange & Espresso colours. I have also experienced the Diesel variant with Berry Red colour which is decent. Seen from far you would probably get deceived by its design making the car look like the other premium brands(Hyundai i20 old model). Additional colours like Black, Maroon would give more choices to the buyer though.
I am using the car for 1 week now and I have fallen in love with my car already. It's like my dream car come true. I am a middle-class person and I felt that I got my complete cashback in the form of Tiago.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Never underestimate the beats inside the car with the good infotainment system. 8 (including 4 twitters) Speakers will suffice your needs to listen to the song Lollipop-Lilwyn with full bass at 19 points volume.
I am feeling comfortable driving in the traffic for 4 hours every day and that will only come with a good driver seat architecture. Easy to access to the utilities in and around the car while sitting. The dashboard finish gives this car hot looks from inside especially orange colour. which are way too better than the other car brands in this segment.
I know that the critic reviews already shared this information, but the critics are matching with 99% user review for Tiago.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I don't know much technical knowledge about the Engine but believe me that Tiago has the power in it and I can feel it when I drive at higher speeds like 100, 120 & 140 even with 4 people sitting in the car. Gear shift is fine and smooth. Easy to shift gears during city drive. I am yet to complete 200 Kms after purchase so keeping my fingers crossed on the mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling Tiago is much better than its ancestors like Bolt and Indica and also better than the other car models like Celerio and i20.

I don't feel like leaving the car as soon as I reach my home! I would like to stay as long as possible sitting and driving for long drives. AWESOME PURCHASE!!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I don't think engine performance is at par with Maruti or Grand i10! To be honest! Tuning of Maruti is awesome. I drove M800 for 13 years & purchased this XZ in June 2017. So far as fuel economy is concerned around 17-18 kmpl at long drive. Gearbox is not as smooth as i10.
Ride Quality & Handling Superb Ride Quality; 1024 kg kerb weight makes this car sturdy than Swift or i10!
