Exterior
Same old Sumo box look. Some people love it. Most find it boring. I don't hate it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Very very spacious. Seats are bad - rock hard. Ample ample leg space. TATA COULD HAVE PUT IN BUCKET SEATS AND CHARGED EXTRA.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
3OOO cc. Very high torque. The animal won't stop at anything. No stone too big to go over. My car is 8 years old and has done 1.35 lakh kms. Still gives 13.5 kmpl (that too on diesel !).
Gear box is not as smooth as in other 'modern' cars. The drive feel is more like a Tata 407 or a Truck.
Ride Quality & Handling
Feels more like a Tata 407 or a Truck. Not like a car at all.
Difficult nay impossible to turn while static (no power steering). However, smooth when on the move.
Final Words
GOOD CAR IF YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT FEATURES. BE PREPARED FOR AN INSENSTIVE, DEAF COMPANY THOUGH.
Areas of improvement
(1) CAn install better seats. (2) can introduce power steering. (3) can add step bars on the sides / rear as OE fitment and charge extra. (4) MR RAVI KANT NEEDS TO INSTIL 'CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER' IN SPIRIT AMONG HIS FIELD STAFF.
