I bought the car around two weeks back and it has done only 350km. Now within two weeks I am facing problems with a part called sedimenter which is placed just below the front passenger seat, its placed so low that a sensor attached to it is just 6 to 7 inches above the ground and it is positioned just behind the front passenger wheel. A stone if jumps because of coming under the wheel will surely hit the sedimenter which exactly happenned with me. I was driving the vehicle on a sunday night and it suddenly stopped, I tried to crank the engine but it didn't worked, the next day when I took the vehicle to its authorised workshop after checking the vehicle the service advisor told me that the sedimentor got hit by something and has become faulty we will have to change it and it doesn't come under warranty and you will have to pay for it. I was made to pay rs3670. I don't know what hit the vehicle, there is not even a single scratch on it. Yes if a stone jumps from the tyre its not my fault, the sedimenter is positioned at the wrong place, its so low that the sensor attached to it is even lower than the chassis and i think I should get the part replaced under warranty. Now for the last one week I have been registering complaints after complaints but as you all know nothing is happening. I dont know why they call it a suv when it stops because a stone jumps from its tyre.

Wonder how Tata Motors treats its customers. Well, give them a new car which is having broken parts and then behave as an government organization when trying to complain about the same. I bought an Tata Safari Refresh in end of June-2015 from Aristo Motors Gurgaon. Surprised to find that fitting inside the Roof AC was broken in the New car and Rear AC vents flap was also broken. Wonder what was the PDI that was done before delivering the car. Reported both issues to Dealer and Service station immediately. Almost 2 months have been passed, but yet to get resolution for the same. And worst is that Tata Motors itself is neither taking any action nor taking any initiative to solve the problem. Well done Tata Motors for serving your customers this way. You will definitely set new milestones in giving worst customer service.
What is the point in conducting feedback surveys, when there is NO action that is going to be taken by you.

Exterior The Design though for safari storme remains same in the refreshed 2015 version as it earlier versions,except for the front honey comb grill in front and Storme embrossed with black colour on the Aluminiunm strip gives it a premium look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior of this safari is definately a changed one, with beige interiors giving way to java black interiors with central watch also gone. Steering mounted controls and a good system by Harman Connectnext, though doubledin and touch screen is must in this segiment of vehicle and is missing in safari, hope TATA may work on it.
Safari is known for its comfort, and yes its very comfortable seating position, Driver seems to be in full control of vehicle, 2nd row seats have a better leg room than Scorpio, however the last row jump seats are very unconfortable for elders, though have seen that kids enjoy sitting on it,but for long distance driving surely not recommended.Ample space in vehicle,Means I packed my back row to top while travelling to Ladhak. Door are big enough to hold 2 lts of bottle.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Tata has worked to get away with the faults in engine of the earlier storme, and with 2yrs of gold mtnce at 22k is a good deal for 2 years, which covers every issue of the car. Engine sound is almost negligible in cabin, though wen u switch off the engine of storme,be prepared to be shaken due to the vibrations that extend to the gear lever. Overall a nice remapped engine with 150 PS and 360 NM torque.(EX version) VX is coming with 400nm and 156 Ps of power.
Ride Quality & Handling Simply one word AWESOME Ride quality and easy handling, u won't even feel like u r driving a monster size vehicle.
Final Words A person driving safari, will never be able to purchase any oyher car I m sure about it. Its far better than all other vehicles which claim to be SUV but fail to meet the basic "ladder on Frame" demand for being an SUV. Owing SUV is really a matter of pride and this vehicle has a great road presence.
Areas of improvement People have been complianing about the TATA support in some cities and fed up with the noise rattling of doors, means these r not that big issues. TATA should be more senstive in B citiies towards its customers.
