After 15000 KMS you'll face Clutch Problem (Hard), Bootspace Door create lots of noise infact its without Stepney but still it not good!
So, I went to Tata Service Station. I ask them to compare the clutch with new one. The guy said, Clutch is okay. I said its just 15,000KMS. He said its okay!!
I ask Machenic to repair Bootsapce door permanently as this is the second time I am here just for this and after 1hrs it will be same as it was. He said you have to come again then I cannot fix it permanently.
LOL ... JAI TATA!!!
I said suspension is not in good condition as it was - Without test drive he declare that its okay.
I have extended warranty. Now the guy said if you want your clutch smooth then you have to pay money. Can you imagine if you use a car for just 15, 000kms and you have to pay for clutch and other things! How would you feel like?
I must say stop wasting your money! After sale service is MUST!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) If your machine is okay i think interior dosnt matter, but car without smooth ride is worst.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Okay.
Ride Quality & Handling Not that good!!!
Final Words Baddest experice with Tata again! and their service dealer.

Exterior Good in same segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Needs to be improved.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 12 kmpl not good as 140 bhp mhawk engine in same segment so. I would like to beat scorpio and xuv 500 by my storm but pick up and top speed is less than xuv 500 and scorpio. I request you tata motors change engine of tata safari who beat the mhak engine of scorpio and xuv 500 in the same segment I woluld like to see tata safari in top position in the same segment suv and one more disadvantage tata safari is paid service cost is higher than scorpio or mahindra means scorpio and xuv 500 requires less maintainance cost than Safari.
Ride Quality & Handling Good.
Final Words mhawk engine of scorpio is better than dicor or varicor engine of safari produes same power in 2179 cc 140 bhp but better performance than Safari.
Areas of improvement Single din music systym, speed of mirrors in power window moves very slowly, dashboard.

HI ALL,
TATA SAFARI HAS BEEN THE LEADER OD INDIAN SUV SEGEMENT SINCE AGES. THE STORME VERSION IS NOT THE EXCEPTION. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE BEAST SINCE LAST 4 YEARS BUT HAVE NEVER GOT A SINGLE COMPLANT.
LOOKING ATTHE INTERIORS OF FULLY LOADED VERSION, IT HAS ALL THE THINGS A BASIC SUV NEEDS. FEATURES ARE A BIT PRIMITIVE AS COMPARED TO A LUXERY SUV BUT ALL ARE MUCH HELPFUL- NO NONSENCE TYPE. THE INFORMATION AND AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM IS VERY PRIMITIVE AND NEEDS REFINEMENT. ITS THE PROBABLY MOST SPACIOUS CAR OF INDIA IN ITS SEGMENT. RIDE QUALITY IS UNCOMPARABLE. YOU DONT GET TIRED IN SPITE OF DRIVING MORE THAN 500 KMS IN A DAY.
ENGINE IS POWERFUL. BEST PERFOMANCE IS FOUND IN AROUND 80 TO 110 KMS SPPED. VERY LIGHT AND ELEGANT. FUEL ECONOMY IS BETTER THAN INNOVA --14 KMS /LITRE. GEARBOX IS A BIT CRANCKY. BUT OVERALL NO ISSUES WITH THE CAR.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox IN SAFARI, ONE FEELS LIKE THE KING OF THE ROAD. EXCELELNT RIDE QUALITY WITH PROPER THIGH SUPPORT. THE HANDLING IS VERY LIGHT IN HAIGHWAY ROADS. THE RIDE QUALITY EVEN IMPROVES OFF THE ROAD- UNMATCHED.
THE TURNING RADIUS IS REALLY SMALL. EASY MANOUVERING IS THE KEY IN TRAFFIC AREAS.
FINALLY, ITS THE BEST INDIAN SUV TILL DATE. NO MATTER WHAT THE PUBLIC IMPRESSION IS ABOUT TATA CAR, BUT I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THE CAR TILL DATE AND ITS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE SUV IN INDIAN MARKET. I HIGHTLY RECOMMEND THE SAFARI STORME.
INTRIORS CAN BE IMPROVED. BODY INTEGRITY CAN BE IMPROVED. QUALITY OF PLASTICS USED CAN BE UPGRADED.

I have owned this car for almost three months now and have driven it 3500kms on all sorts of road (and no-roads). I thinks I could not have bought anything that suits my use better. I needed a car which is easy to drive in the city, is cofortable and spacious enough for long journeys and can take on almost anything that the roads of the country may throw at it. I must say it exceeded my expectations in all the parameters. I recently to my baby STORME to Darjeeling and Gangtok. Roads between Kolkata and Siliguri are really bad for most part. But I have to admit that even my father, who is sixty and has back problem, was perfectly comfortable all the way. 4x4 system is simply WOW!!! I realized the true capability of the vehicle while driving up the steep, rocky and extremely slippery (due to heavy and continuous rain) uphill road on my way back from Rock Garden in Darjeeling. While all the local rental vehicles were doing crazy things to maintain their momentum to climb up the road, I had just switched to 4L and the baby monster crawled up the dreaded road very nice and easy.
I would just like to mention, that the 2014 model (the one I own) has got improved chassis but has downgraded couple of features, e.g. music system is no-longer a standard accessory and the leather upholstery has been replaced with fabric ones. The bright side is that you now have the option of choosing a music system of your choice and leather seats are not really suitable for tropical weather. So, I was actually happy with the downgrades.
Contrary to my apprehension and popular hearsay, I found Tata Motors aftersales service is pretty good so far.
