      I have bought this car in August 2020.Mileage was very less than they claimed, only 10 or 9 km.It was ok,but the greatest and hard issue for me was it started its battery problems after 6 months.Always battery goes down,then we have to call on road service which was very difficult especially during covid time and had to gather it somehow and move on.Four times this issues repeated and even then the technician people in Tata failed to find out the issue.We had sent mail to head office,only this forced the local service people authority to give a substitute battery and sent the old one no replace.Again the spare battery got drain out and now they have taken it again to study.For customer Tata Nexon is a headache totally frustrating.

      This all started when the showroom people lied to me regarding the mileage is 16 kms and the mileage I am getting is 8 and also the showroom people lie to me that there is no bs 6 model launching and just after 2 months it launched. They also gave me a defected car which had dents and its from the service centre managers mouth.

      One of the best car for middle-class n small family people in our country. Value for money.with all my driving I have got experience with all this model car. And it has got a good road clearness. We can drive in off-road also.

      I got the delivery of my Tata Nexon XZA+(O) petrol a couple days before the first lockdown from Key Motors in Bangalore. The dealership experience was really good. I have driven the car pretty much in the city due to lockdown and before the first service the car gave a mileage between 9-10 kmpl. I have driven over 700 kms and also completed the first service. After first service the mileage has improved to 11-12 kmpl in the city. I am yet to take a full highway drive however a very short stint delivered 16-18 kmpl. The build quality has been very good and the interior fit and finish has been top notch. The 1.2 turbo petrol is peppy and strong. The NHV levels are excellent. The AMT unit is about getting used to however once familiar you will know how to get over the jerks a typical AMT provides. I am impressed with the suspension settings and the ride quality over any, literally any kind of terrain. The iRA app and BOSCH connected car tech need a lot of refinement but its useful. If I have to be nit picky with anything in the vehicle then it will be the connected car (iRA) connectivity and the AMT. These are not showstoppers but matters about getting used to. TATA, if you are reading this, pls have the iRA udpated with more features and better connectivity. Overall, its a worthy vehicle to put your hard earned money and certainly a WINNER from Tata.

      1. Buying experience was very smooth with Fortune Motors at Navi Mumbai. Diwali discount of 50K was an added bonus. Very patient, responsible and willing to coordinate at all times. Loved the experience. 2. Riding experience - Well, it's easily as smooth as an SUV in the range of 16-18 lakhs. Great suspension, eats all the small rough patches on the road. It's a pleasure to drive on a tar road. Not that much of a body roll either, enough space for 3 ppl behind to sir comfortably. The seats are superbly comfortable. It's the Tata Sofa seats I must say. 3. Looks are brilliant, especially the back portion. The interiors with a single unit from armrest up to the touch panel gives a 'Range' feel to the car. Absolutely stunning. Performance is good as the mileage is top-notch. If you want to feel the engine roar a bit and become more responsive, easily switch to 'Sports' Mode and you can feel a good change but mileage may take a hit. Very good performance on Ghats and hilly terrain on sports mode. Power lags in Eco Mode. 4. Appointment for servicing is pretty easy by selecting your preferred time on the app and has so far worked tremendously well for the Navi Mumbai service centre. 5. Cons - (Not a big deficit but there are some) No charging output at the back and very small umbrella holders on the side door. Not a big problem. 6. Extremely spacious car and worth every single penny.

      The delivery of my vehicle happened 3 days before the first lockdown in Mar 2020. I purchased to vehicle from Key motors on Kanakapura Road, BLR and my experience was really good with the professionals who knew about the vehicle well. I have driven close to 20K kms and the experience has been rewarding in every single drive, long or short. The build quality and robustness of the vehicle can be felt as soon as you sit in the car and the ride and handling is appreciated on the road OR not (in BLR we have dug up and heavy pot hole ridden roads over the city and outskirts last couple years). I have completed all my free services and one paid service. The paid service cost was <2K which was a big relief to me compared to my Verna Diesel before this that cost no less than 8K for any standard paid service. While the vehicle is a "MUST BUY" recommendation to all prospective buyers, I would like to highlight one major aspect (which is not a deal breaker) and that is the AMT transmission. It gets the job done and requires getting used to (I drove a Verna Diesel torque converter automatic before) as its works in its own rythm and pace. You cannot force the AMT and soon will get adapted to it. I urge TATA to not be a MISER for people like us spending over 14K on the car and not getting proper auto transmission (if any of Tata Motors reps are reading this). For those who want a MANUAL gear box EYES CLOSED GO FOR NEXON. For automatic only buyers, its not a deal breaker (most Maruti's have the same AMT system) but a matter of getting used to. The savior here is the "Sports" mode in case you need full engine power and want to override the kinks of the AMT gearbox. The fuel economy does not take as much hit as its hyped. Even sports mode gives reasonable fuel economy. In Summary, its a well rounded package like an arranged marriage - you cannot get it all but over the years you grow on it. Kudos to TATA Motors team for coming up with a product like Nexon.
