This is my first Tata car and is worth it. Had driven the old dzire for many years and wanted to replace it with a more powerful car. Test drove almost all the cars in the compact sedan n suv category. After 3 months of extensive research finally bought this Nexon XT Diesel. Of course there were apprehensions abt buying tata product but a test drive settles all. Techinal specifications are very good, driveability is superb and looks are definitely a head turner. Being a sub 4m car its ideal for city driving, parks easily. No power lag, good turning radius n ground clearance and surprisingly performs well on the highway too. The 1500cc power train really works on highway. The 3 driving modes give ample options for a good driving experience. Clearly a winner for city as well as highway travel. The Tata dealer- Berkeley auto, gave an excellent buying experience. Nexon is a great product and a good value for money. The quality speaks for itself n its a pleasure to drive.

Brought the car and had running of 1000 kms in just 2 weeks. :)
Exterior Exterior design and build quality is an achievement for Tata and simply appreciatable. It's a attention magnet on road. People from Hatchbacks and Sedans are amazed at the size this car posses. Very good option considering day-to-day commuting, height of the vehicle, 209 ground clearance, mileage and safety. The car remains planted on high speeds and is very agile in handling.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The 3 tone dashboard and interior makes it really very appealing to customer. The refinement in Steering, Clutch, gear shift and accelerator is very good. Driving in city and parking is very easy. The features are spot on and driving mode is really usefull.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Driving in city mode makes the car very responsive to user accelerator inputs. Eco is miles muncher on highway. Sports is when you want to have fun, the feeling of the power from engine can be felt on every touch of accelerator. Currently getting 23.4 KMPL on diesel engine with mix of Highway and City driving. Gear box is very smooth and it's pleasure to have the gears displayed with shift indication assistance. Really a great function when you have different drive modes.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very comfortable. Bad roads are handled very well by the car. It gives high confidence to driver on highway. The handling is smooth with power steering and is very agile. Body roll is there but the tyres handle it pretty well. The parking is very easy due to dynamic guidelines and also doubles for straightening of front wheels.
Final Words Tata Motors is achieving new heights with quality and products it is coming up with. Take a test drive of this car and you will be surprised with Nexon. Tata motors is trying out to change their product image and Customer handling very well. I was amazed by the car buying process and efforts of Sales person to ease the over all process. They have delivered the car earlier than the waiting period, made me really happy.
Areas of improvement Earlier was driving Chevrolet UVA and the most missed thing is the storage spaces distributed all over the console. Probably, getting used to center console and storage in Nexon will reprogram me to it.
Will be trying out the Tata Motors service shortly and will update my experience in this review to check the advancements they have acheived in this.

Exterior No need to say mindblowing, sure headturner.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No need to say its just awesome..rear passenger has no complaint on suspension and comfort reverse gear is so easy now due to the path hihlighting feature.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good ,sport mode is ultimate dont try eco mode at city its for highway.cabin noise is negligible. Mid range of this car is awesome.
Ride Quality & Handling Awesome i take turn at 80 without any issues high speed stability is too good.
Final Words Its the best ever car tata has made ..go and ride it then own it. Not all car is perfect so do nexon but see the other features its best in this segment and feel proud that its made by INDIANS if we dont love our own products then how our country will progress so dont just think about negatives buy this car without any confusion.
Areas of improvement Finishing touch and sales, service center should be more. Lastly HATS off to TAMO.

My brother in law purchased petrol version. I drived it last week Jaipur-Chittorgarh-Jaipur 705 km last week. We were 4 adults & 2 kids. Even in Eco mode it was easily catching 100 +. Off reading capability was superb. We by mistake booked resort in remote area with katha road, dry river in jolly area. After driving easily in those condition we were proud of our decision of purchased Nexon. Mileage was 13.5 kmpl. Its only 3 months old and done 1300 km & one service. Point of concern was 2 times fault light got on.

I have perched tata nexon xm diesel 4 months ago. Even after 6000 km. There is no issues regarding any defect or problem. Quite happy with power, performance and convenience. Even in hill area the milege in eco mode is 16.5 and in sports mode 15. Just nice car. Full value for money. Fully satisfied with the decision of purchasing TATA NEXON Ashish Dist.
