Tata Nano has Major Quality issues on top of that Despite of Gold AMC service center voided the warranty because part to be replaced was costly, reason given by Prerna motors Houser gate service center is second service of the car not done in time.
We had to visit service center every quarter for quality issues, they were small but It takes your times to go to service center in Bangalore traffic and leave the vehicle and go again in evening to pick it up. Till now they were serving the vehicle (Quality was very poor, I had two visit two times for same problem) as no parts were replaced. Today I visted to Prerna Motors housur gate service center for two issues first We started having issues with Brakes which is pretty serious 2nd silencer bolts broken inside as explained by mechanic Nano has design issue for this and it is common. Service center representative was ready to fix this without any issue and explained it will be under warranty. They replaced the brake oil and said car is fine and they will fix the silencer next day as mechanic is not available. But when I tested brakes, issue still existed so after anlaysis they found that a part has to be replaced which costs around Rs 3600/-. Now everyone went inside the office and came back again saying sir you have to pay for everything as your warranty is void you haven’t done second service WTF. I told I was out of country at that time and the vehicle was only used 2300Km in two and half years. Service center guys agreed that part was manufacturing defect but NO POINT IN ANY DISCUSSION.
