I like the looks, very contemporary.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Driving space is very comfortable. However, boot space is an issue. 

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is underpowered. What my 14 year old Omni used to do in 3rd gear, the Nano does in 2nd, and with a/c on, it sometimes needs to be put in 1st gear! The engine struggles for power. Fuel economy is as promised: 25. There is noise in 3rd & 4th gears. There is also sound on clutch release. There is bubbling on clutch release in 1st and reverse gears.

 

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality and handling are just ok.

 

Final Words

Front side and rear impaired visibility are very serious issues. There is sound from the transmission & power train. My 14 year old Omni felt more "new" than my 4 month old Nano. Spares are costly and not easily available. But fuel economy is as promised at 25. In overall terms: Lacks refinement.

 

Areas of improvement 

Fix impaired visibility. Eliminate sounds. Improve spares and service availability / network.
