Shri Ratan Tata Ji is the personality by whome the head of every INDIAN is at top of the world.
We shud not compare the Nano to the other cars like M-800, Alto, Santro etc.
We shud respect and appreciate the Tata's engineers who gave us the small compact dream which can be fulfilled by the most of the Indian. This car will definelty hit the road and will change the scene of India and thinking of the people.
This is a small wonder which will boom and rock on the road. According to the news channels the space is enough for 4 persons, safety norm are guds, milage is gud.

Exterior Very cute in appearance. Eye catching and aerodynamic in shape.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent engine performance with good pickup, very responsive to accelerator and excellent compression.
Ride Quality & Handling Needs power steering; Ride is wee bit rough. Seas require to be soft.
Final Words The short comings can be easily addressed. OVerall, from my experience of driving it for six months, it is a good car worth recommeding to others if they need my advice.
Areas of improvement Engine requires to be protected against rear hits, as well as its accessories which are cheek by jowl with the fragile rear bumper. Door stoppers are a must. Height adjustment for front seats is a must. Power Steering would be welcome as an option. Meter cluster should be illuminated. Power windows should have a manual override for safety. All tyres should be identical. Easy access to rear for checking coolant, radiator water and oil levels and cleaning air filter.
Roomy interiors; Cute looks. Effective AC, Responsive Brakes, Good pick up and so onUnprotected rear engine and accessories. No door stoppers. High seats. Inside Battery.

Areas of improvement This is the car is enough to give you slipless nights and enough trouble!! Within 1 year my car (KA 01 MH XXXX) had visited the service station more than 5 times!! Sometimes, some irregular noise, Engine breakdown, Starting probleb so on and so forth. I feel its better to buy an Auto and use it. Now I know why being so cheap this Car is FLOP in market!! Friends, my sincere advise will be better buy an Auto or Any other enetry level car but never ever even think of NANO!! I am feeling like did a charity to Tata motors after buying this scap, which (1 year OLD car) I have to dispose in less than half the price!! Any doubt can reach me @+91-

It's fair with 624CC, its give 23KMPL at highway with AC and 20 in city, some time you feel very irritating in city and breakers when this car is performing good in 2nd gear. rest everything is ok. I enjoyed long trips 450 km just one break, no issue of engine heating, but I want to say top speed is really concern on highway, you feel very odd when you driving this car at 100 KMPH and some mid range car or SUV come just behind you and asking for side then you feel bad.
You can also compromise that have brought nano not Audi!!!
Good pickup good mileage good speed, you can good comfort level.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is very good in highway but you feel little bit nerves in desi roads, suspension is good at this price point
Final Words
The day when this car lunched by Mr. Tata, that day I decided that I will purchase this car, but in my family no one like this car I have taken hard decision to buy this. After all it's comma man car after 80's Maruti's 800.
I just have a single word for this car if you are looking for good car then it has everything for daily use except a boot space, if you are looking for boot space not money the better buy a Tata Ace Truck.

Tata can increase it price little bit and give option power button window in door, power staring, disk brakes.

current odo meter count is 49,000 KM. no problem at all. giving me average of 18 with A/C and 20 without A/C. both front and rear tyres is changed and no doubt this car is performing well

Exterior - New golde colour looks awesome. The car looks big.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - It's more spacious than anyone can imagine. It has more than enough leg space. 4 adults and 1 child can comfortably sit in this car though there are only 4 seat belts. I am not very happy with the bucket type seats since I get back pain after driving the car for more than 15 minutes. I am planning to put seat covers on the seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Engine is smooth and doesn't knock much. I have got a mileage of 26+ on highway but only 14 in city. Probably that's what you get in first 1000 kms. Gearbox is smooth except it's little difficult to put it on reverse gear
Ride Quality & Handling - Ride quality is smooth but it bounces occassionally on the mountain like speed breakers of Bangalore
Final Words - It's an awesome car. I switched from a 7 year old Tata Indica Xeta to Nano and am quite happy with it. Though I was habituated driving a vehicle with power steering, I don't miss it much in the new Nano because of the eazy steer technology. Initially it was difficult to steer at parking speeds but it has improved now and I don't find the steering too hard any more. Driving on Chennai-Bangalore highway at 90+ kmph was a pleasure. I could not feel any vibration at such speed. I could rarely make it to 100+ though. The car was giving up on ghats in 4th gear with A/C on and I had to shift to 3rd gear but I think that was expected for any hatchback car. The bucket type seats are not very comfortable for me or my wife though. I start getting back pain after driving for a while. The boot is sufficient to store 2 cabin size bags but it gets extremely warm because it's on top of the engine. I would not recommend storing anything containing perishable items or medicines in the boot. Overall I am extremely happy with the performance of this car after driving for 1500 kms.
Areas of improvement - The front seats should be more comfortable. The seat back rest can be pushed back only at 1 level. I the back rest can't be adjusted to keep it fully vertical. It's more convenient to drive longer with back rest at 90 degrees.

Exterior -Exterior looks smart , the alloy wheels, head and fog lamps look very smart.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Very nice boot space , the one who is 6 ft can seat easily with 4 passengers, Powerfull AC , interior looks good except the speed meter.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - the engine sounds a lot , BEST fuel economy I own a Santro which runs 12-13 kms / ltr and NANO 22 kms / ltr in city , 24 kms / ltr on highway.Gears are hard to shift.
Ride Quality & Handling - Nano can run 80 kms / hr max speed once you cross 80 the car starts vibrating. Lack of power stearing.
Final Words - best to buy , best fuel economy , very good in city. Sweet and Small. The car was purchased in 2012 , since 10000 kms are run including highways.
Areas of improvement - Stearing , Gears , Engine noise. The car will rock the market if TATA launches it in 1000 CC segment and with all features of Indica Vista.

I bought Tata Nano Awesome Model last year 2014 on Guru Nanak’s Birth anniversary @2.35 lac from Macro Ventures/Motors Mohali Punjab. Before buying this car I had visited almost every car showroom and checked all concerns. But Tata Nano was the best one which fitted in my budget that too with the space, the ac, the mileage, the swift pickup and best is parking and moving out in the city and more over this was SWADESHI CAR. Although all my near and dear once advised me not buy this car as it has no strength (is me jaan nahi hai) instead I shall go for Maruti 800/ Alto or Hyundai Eon. My family (my wife, daughter n myself) were satisfied to own this car. This car if fully equipped but without power steering. I even enquired about this feature from the showroom mkt people that if this feature may be included in coming weeks or months. But I was told that there is no need of power steering as this car engine is rear mounted. Also not having power steering never bothered me. After this who ever come across me I made them sit in my car and drove few kms. At this time every one appreciated the concept and concern of this car. Because of its lachtakia car/ cheap car Tag every one said that if you were to invest RS 2.35 lac for this car, by adding few thousand rupees more you would have bought better car.
One day I just drove the car along with my family to the city, my than 6+ year daughter was sitting on the rear seat, she accidently pulled the lever of door and the door opened. One can imagine how embarrassing it was… luckily I was not on the highway, was only on the inner street. So any major tragedy was averted. And after that I trained her not to do this again. She understood. At that time I found out that the company has neglected this most important security feature by not providing CHILD LOCK. On the other place Tata Motors tried to upgrade this car in other so many ways but still this security feature of child lock has not been provided.
After almost 4 months Tata Motors introduced Tata Nano Twist with only added feature of Power Steering. The showroom started giving 30,000 to 40,000 rupees discount on the awesome model and 70,000 to 90,000 rupees discount on the old models. At this time I felt, like I’ve been cheated.
Now it has been more than one year since I have owned My Awesome Nano. Driving daily from home - office to and from 60km. This saved me, my family from summer heat, rains and winter chills. I have many good and bad experiences since the beginning. All those experiences may not be viable to share at this time. I am writing this comment/ review after one year of use over my own experience. Some people reading this on the other side may think rubbish what am taking about. But truly these are the FACTS which cannot be denied.
Every after 15 days I am at the showroom for repair work for one reason or the other. Till now it is under warranty and have taken gold AMC. But still this wasted my lot of time n money… NOW after One year of driving this Nano car I am of the opinion & thinking that I HAVE MADE THE WRONG DECISION. Which has really wasted my time, energy and money. Instead I would have bought any other company’s car by adding RS 50,000 more… that would have been much much much better. I AM SORRY FOR WHAT I AM WRIITING, BUT IT IS VERY VERY TRUE & I REGERT IT FOR MY SELF TOO FOR MAKING THIS DECISION.

Hi to all I am writing a small review.
We bought the car as a second hand from pre owned cars as a coset of 85000 which is 2012 model and with a odo meter reading of 11550. we drove the car in the city of chennai. with no issues and compleated around 12000 km in 2months at last we have an urgent trip to visakhapatnam which is around 917 km from chennai my place. so we planned to go in this wonder car. with 3passengers and full of luggage 300kgs. Started in chennai at morning 4:00am and stopped for breakfast at ongole and again started and stopped for lunch at gannavaram. again started and reached vishakaptnam at around 9:00pm all about 17:00 we coverd 917 km awsm experience. but we have no issues from the car till now. Thanks to rattan tata for this lovely invention after compleation of this 917 km many of them wondering about the small car with 624cc engine camn travel 917 in single sretch with an avg 25.5 kmpl.

Exterior The looks are quiet descent, looks might improve with wheel caps and body graphics
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Looks and feels airy, lots of leg room for the driver and the person sitting beside the driver. It is definitely a tall boy car, any tall person can easly fit in and sit comfortably.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Improvement is definitely needed on the engine side. its neither peppy for city traffic nor can go at great speeds for long drives. the fuel economy is great, i got 25kmpl with AC and 27kmpl without AC on drives more than 100km on highway. Cant confidently go more than 80kmph speed.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is poor, no power steering or power breaks. The breaking is not effective. it is some time skiddy especially in dirty roads and rainy season.
Final Words At its cost it is a very good alternative to a two wheeler and it cant be compared to any other four wheeler. My frinds say it is an autorickshaw with AC (ofcourse a lot better than that).
