Dealers and Service Centers - Pathetic Service. Starting from delivery - car had scratches, took 4 hrs in arguing and replacement. Documents and bills took another 15 days, found difference of > 16000 in amount paid and the bills. Additional bills were generated for services like agent fees for registration etc and Rs 8000 were refunded. Similar stories on every service - Delays, poor quality, repair using feviquick inpace of replacement. Even with prior appointment mentioning the problem, was informed about the non availabilty of spare 5 hours after taking car in for repair (with me in their waiting room all the time with followup every hour). Quality and availability of spares. Had to struggle for more than a month for winder motor of front window.

Final Words Tata has made a good car i.e. Manza. But on the other side it is having worst aftersales service by un trained/non experienced team. Generally taxi drivers used to visit their workshops so the behaviour in that place is equal to all type of persons. A high networth person/professional can easily be insulted in their workshop. I have following experience with Tata Motors Dealer M/s Goldrush at Lucknow:-
Sub: 1st Service at the M/s Goldrush at Ismailganj Lucknow Workshop on 12.02.2012
(1) The service was booked 3 days back. When I reached there at 11.15 the guard & the person in charge denied for taking my vehicle for service, after request (when their ego was satisfied by my several request to various persons in the workshop) they took the vehicle for service.
(2) The vehicle thereafter send for washing where due to mishandling (by untrained persons) the bonnet lock was freezed.
(3) After 4 hrs. of long waiting and several attempts (by untrained workers) one person after breaking the bonnet lock wire (in very unprofessional manner) could open it.
(4) Again they started exercise to make the bonnet lock workable (by non experienced workers). In fact I saw those people doing experiments with my new vehicle, purchased just 25 days back.
(5) They changed Bonnet lock, wire etc. under warranty despite these were new and working and there was no need to change it.
(6) Finally at 7 PM the workshop head told me that he is not able to get the job done and told me to come another day.
(7) All opened nut bolt were in loose condition some of which were not reaffixed. The vehicle delivered back to me in same condition with unfinished job. Resulting which the fibber sheet (black colored) which protects the engine fell down on the same day.
(8) The bonnet is still freeze and can’t be opened.
Areas of improvement After buying a vehicle the owner never visit to Sales Showromm instead he only visit to workshop. So it is very important to have a good Service Workshop where customer can find satisfactory after sales support to his satisfaction, which is not there with tata workshop.

Exterior Elegant side and front looks, good windscreen, good paint quality Full sedan car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driver support system is good , Music system with USB and AUX is fine but must have been provided with bluetooth very attractive dashboard ,Audio controls on steering wheel , rear center armrest, very good legroom space comfortable seats rear seat can accomodate even four person, the option of folding rear seat is good. Huge boot ,Adjustable front seats head restairnts.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superb responsive 90PS Quadrajet engine, smooth running ,moderate engine noise My driving is 27km per day in the city (Bhopal) and mileage before first service was 16.8. I got my car serviced after one month when it ran 850kms. After that, mileage improved to 17.2 and after few days it jumped to 18.4. It was to my surprie that after couple of days it reached 19.2 and again followed by acouple of days 19.6 and now it is exactly 20.0 in the city.Till now i've covered 1927 kms. after purchase on 27 december 2011 from RMJ MOTORS BHOPAL where i got good discount as well. Executive were responsive and helpful.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very smooth and it gives good feel for driver to have commond over the vechile.
Final Words It is to my surprise as to why people go for foreign brands and treating tata as heavy vechile maker. Whereas the only truth is in my opinion that the TATA keeps needs of countrymen at top and makes the product like MANZA. Safety, performance, features,fuel economy and price everything is availabel with TATA for INDIAN people.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT Fit and finish could further be improved and somehow rear look needs modification and nothing more.
I WILL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE FURTHER IN FUTURE IF I SHALL GET ANYTHING ELSE FROM MY CAR TO WHICH I AM STILL HOPEFULL AT LEAST FOR FUEL ECONOMY.
