Tata Manza - its really good

 

Exterior Good styling,  excellent road presence, big and stable looking.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious - space comparable to cars 2 level above, comfortable seats, very good interior (bought the vehicle in Feb 2011 after the new dual tone interiors introduced) - in fact dash board and interiors are having a premium look and feel. 

When we took the vehicle to a car shoppe for mats and seat covers the very next day after taking it from show room, there was a new swift desire came for some after market fitments and its owner was telling his friend that this new Manza interior looks beautiful and better.  He came again to me to make sure that I have not done any modification to the interiors.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent engine - so silent and smooth that it does not seem like a diesel. Gear box is smooth. Its too early to talk about fuel economy still the initial indication after a few hundred kms is really impressive.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality. Taking potholes and bad roads with ease. And handling - surprisingly good handling for a Tata Car.

 

Final Words Its really a very good car (only affected by perception due to bad condition of heavily used and abused old generation Indica and Indigo cars which are lacking build quality).

 

Areas of improvement Training - lots and lots of training - for the show room staff Yet to encounter the service guys and after sales support team - so no comments about that.
