Good value for money but fit and finish need to improve

 

Exterior I have purchased Dew White model in mid Aug 10, has got a rich look, the rear view should have been made much better.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In this price rage, i would say spacing and features in that car are excellent, except for the electrical fittings like the switches needs to improve a lot. Also, the plastic quality does not give the rich feeling.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven 1500 Km and have finished the first service. With this experience i would say this car i well suited for city drive, u need not have to down the gear even if ur going at 35 to 40 km speed u can drive it in 5th gear itself. The pick up is average, a gradual accelaration. You wont feel that lack of pickup, if you are a smooth driving person, who likes to go at 60-70 Km average speed. Once in that range of speed it tends to just fly smoothly. The fuel economy with A/c gives a milege of 14km/ltr. without A/c in a semi city drive has given me 15-16 km/ltr. Hopefully it would improve after few service.

 

Ride Quality & Handling This I have covered above. Few more things, while I went and saw the car I had the impression that bcos of its size it would be difficult the drive in the city traffic. But, to my surprise I have never felt so after taking the first ride, I was able to zip thru the traffic. Also, since the car can go at 40km speed even in the fifth gear, never we have to frequently change the gear, eventhough it will gradually speed up from 40km. If u need a faster pick up then u need to down the gear.

 

Final Words This car attacts the attention of every one, with its looks and size. It gives lot of space for the passenger.

 

Areas of improvement I had bought the car from RF Motors, Kochi. To my surprise, unlike told by others that RF does not deliver things on time, I got my car with in the specified time and also they gave freebies too and the dealing was up to the mark. I had a excellent sales coordinator named Ms Deepa, she handled things very well.

With respect to problems in the car, that is with in the span of 45 days. The indicative lights of the power window on the driver side blinks and goes off. Also, the combination switch witch has the head light and side indicator controls showed some problem. While swithing on the head light, some times it does not glow also the panel lights would go off. Then after turning in few times it glows up. Ths quality of the electical fittings are not up to the mark. These problems need to be soarted out.
