Exterior Looks pretty classy especially with the alloy wheels.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space, comfortable seats, ample legroom and headroom. However visibility on the right side(driver side) is impaired due to the beam connecting the roof.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Power is adequate but the gear shift is heavy. There is a strange running noise since 20000 kms, not yet rectifed by the dealer despite repeated complaints. Initially dealer suspected timing belt and adjusted the tension but the noise persists. Now the dealer claims that there is no noise but as a user i can still hear it. Dealer did not bother to bring a TATA service engineer despite requests to check the vehicle. Is TML listening to my complaints?
Ride Quality & Handling Good ride quality and decent handling. However the tyres wore out early (Bridgestone).
Final Words TML please do attend to the problems mentioned above. Car registeration TN 01 AK 6264. It is a shame that such a good product is not backed by equally good service!

I got my Manza Aura ABS Quadrajet BS-IV on 31st march 2010, I was planning to buy a d'zire but then settled for the Manza. NO DOUBT, It's a GREAT Car. Lots of Space, excellent mileage, OK Interiors and a good value for money ITEM.

When you go to a service station to get it serviced, those guys treat you like a Cab Driver, everything you ask for they will say a NO.When my manza went for a service, i complained about an underbody sound to which the srvice advisor said that sir you will have to pay for the checking. Also,there is a sound in the dashboard also to which they say that it's presen in every manza. Parts are not that easily available. So the MORAL of the story is that if one can do rounds & rounds of the service stations, then i should buy this CAR.

Final Words I am an army officer and wanted to buy a sedan, after evaluating various aspects I finally purchased new aura ABS BS IV Quadrajet BS IV in the month of May 2011 and has driven 4900 kms in hilly terrian, planes and on long drive. It has met all my expectations. AC of the car is very effective. Music system gives 3D surround sound. Its Bluetooth feature is magnificient. Fuel economy is very good. The stability of the vehicle at HIGH SPEED ( above 130 kmph) is very good. It is very spacious from inside and gives ample leg space to the rear seat occupants. It too has large boot volume. It meets all the requirement of a family. In the end I would like to say - IT IS A CLASS APART!

BUT: HERE IS THE CATCH ABOUT MANZA; i have a graden and open garage; there are rats in my garden; in spite of my best efforts to get rid of it it showed me to develop an gandhian way of tolerance towards all living beings!!!! Now the problem is that the rats eats up all the wiring repeatedly and becoz of it i have regular problem of reverse sensor/ head light not working and last time engile rattling all zoomed to same cause and no solution for these as per my dealer. either have no garden and rats or leave the manza; i have driven 12000km so far and in that same place, i park my getz/innova and nano; only nano and manza has this problem.
IAM SERIOUSLY PLANNING TO SELL THIS CAR!!!
IF YOU HAVE RATS IN YOUR HOUSE THEN DONT BUY MANZA!!!!

TATAS CAN PROVIDE FREE OFFER OF MOUSE TRAPS OR REGULAR AMC FOR CATCHING RATS LIKE PEST CONTROL OF INDIA; It will be nice lateral venture for tata becoz for one year amc for rat catching with PCI is about INR.11000(honest: enquire pci if you dont beleive it!!!)

Bought in Dec'10 and driven 15000km mainly in city kolkata. The problems:
1.Windshield is very thin for which the car gets very heated.
2.Please do check there is a coolant pipe inside the car just down below the dashboard in the middle which is always very hot, not covered and for which the heat can be felt and as by TATA engineers can't be done anything about as it helps in the heater air.
3.Shockers and rubber bush needs frequently change/overhauling.
4.Had to change the odometer & DIS system for malfunction after a year.
5.Headlamps needs frequently replacement as it keeps on getting fused.
6.Please do check on the front left side below the dashboard there is a black cage type instrument which regulates the AC air exhaust for open & close which in my car was always half open while the exhaust is closed which was defective and when i checked with workshop and personally found most of the manza AC exhaust not working as most of the people didn't knew as well as the engineer too which i had to show him to get my rectified.
Areas of improvement
1.Needs rear AC vents as in indigo XL.
2.TATA workshop engineers needs to be trained & improved as they are the worst in class.
3.There should be a system where people can express their problems online with Tata Motors for problems getting rectified fast and the engineers/WKshp Managers come under the pressure.
4.Unlike the Advertisements the Manza petrol mileage needs to improve orelse its not VFM.

Areas of improvement Ideas are good but execution of the entire product is faulty. Quality and reliability not in league with other C segment sedans. Extremely poor after sales service. Build quality , engineering , fit and finish are fit only to be used as a taxi not as a reliable car for everyday use. Buy only if repairability and not reliability is your requirement. Too bad TATA is not responding to customer feed backs . dO NOT EXPECT ANY COOPERATION FROM ANY DEALERS. Every small component that is used is of the lowest quality and its obvious that lowest price will get only lowest quality from company vendors. Choose your vendors with extreme care as the company name is at stake.

We have been getting our Manza car HR26BE6349 (October 2010 purchase) serviced regularly at your Authorized Service station Dhingra Motors, Gurgaon (Haryana).
We recently sent the vehicle for service and also complained for having lesser pickup at lower RPM. The advisor suggested for turbo change and complete engine rework (on April 2013 just 2.5 years).
As the vehicle is covered under extended warranty, we expected the work to be done under ext warranty. But to our surprise the surveyor has refused the warranty claim. The reason given is the minor dent in the sump. The dent being 2-3mm.
Being a design issue why didn’t TATA Motors recall the vehicles.
The Car 's bottom touches each and every bump if not driven carefully.
When the swift/ swift desire are completing 2-2.5Lac Km with the same engine, every Manza/Vista is failing at early stages. This shows the serious design issues by TATA.
On the most nobody responds to the complaints.

2 years completed as owner of this car. It gives me more pride when people aroud looks at it when its passes by. I took Pearl colour and its so Sexy that people falls in love with it. Even one of my neighour regret for not waiting one month and took Swift Dzire. After thoughly seeing my car, he was looked like a looser. Hats off to TATA.
Exterior Very Good looks. Look like Ford fieasa/ Sx4. People are looking at car with surprise when it passes by.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) G8 Space, G8 features. You name it and it is there. All sorts of saftey warning and alarm, Bluetooth, Music system with CD, Control on steering wheel.
Only bad thing I found is the hardness of seats. otherwise its a great car with just through away price.
IF Tata can improve their dealers and service stations in the same way they did in this car, I can challance No one can beat TATA. Gone are the day when Tata was synonomus to rattling, noice and other issues.

Took tata manza Elan. Loaded of features and off course acres of space inside the car, the mileage is giving around 16 on highways. I consider this as good mileage as for the car of this size. Good height adjustment range for driver seat and steering mounted controls. Bluetooth is worth of applause. Electrical ORVMs, Its complete and comfortable 5 seater car.
As most of the Tats,s its also have its fair share of niggles like window switch not working window doesn’t close. Heavy rattling sounds such as AC pipes in dash board, steering rack ETC.
I have being using Accent, after shifting to Manza things I don’t like in it is. Ride is so bouncy. Soft suspension is not soft for insiders. I dint like the suspension at all. On a straight stretch of read it is capable of going at 140 speed. But handling problem crops up. Sudden lane changing you cant do. You have to drive it like safari. Even when turning you have to shift it down to 50 kmh speed, there is no inspiring confidence driving around typical indian roads. Ground clearance having all the occupants inside, the body scrapes on bums. Which is another problem.windows at the back seat cannot be opened even at the speed 40 kmph. there is kind of heavy resonance comes in as if you stand near the boing.

i was thinking to update my review lately and finally the day come for it. Basically to rewrite my review is to let the reader get genuine experience of the user. When I finalize my car I have read all the review of manza in carwale, teambhp and mouthshut. Besides I test driven 2 times. Initially when I shifted from compact sedan accent to manza I dint feel at home with it, so was the above review was the impression right after i drove manza. but now, manza is with me for more than 3 months and driven about 5K kilometers and now when I get back in the accent I dont find it comfortable any more. If any body narrows down this vehicle for next buy. I suggest them to go ahead with it. now I cruise at 140/hr comfortably. One issue is sudden direction changing is not confidence inspiring may be because its size. At a streach I travel about 300 klm. Since manza came I don’t find my journey tiring. I wish I could have had hand rest given as standard feature, that’s a missing in the list. Small issues I am facing are DIS( driver information system) light blinks. It shows the right numbers but light under the DIS not working. And there is no get over for it. you require to install new, which cost 15K. steering rack sound on bumps. And window some times stop at the middle while going up. To close we have to give second shot.but I consider these all are small issues which i would putting infront of the TASS in my next service.
Electrical ORVM’s steering mounted controls and sear height adjustment features are awesome, fun to drive, its comfortable commuter in city and cruiser on highway. I am loving it.
Milege is giving 17 to 18 with full AC all the time.

Exterior: Paint quality is so poor that within one year it will give a feel of 10 years old car , metal sheet use to make body is so think even single gentle touch causes dent, exhaust pipe is located in such a position that rear bumber always get black coz of its position , bumbers plastics are so bad that once they are to be opened cant be fixed as such ever .

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Its fuel pump is so poor it needed replacement during first month of my car and tragidy is company workshops dont have it available usually , its radiator fans and ac fans quality is so poor that my vehichle which was totally serviced from day one in authorised service station in just 70000 km it got over heated in city when taken to dealer they said it happen coz fans stop working they need replacement , they replaced but after that day my car started consuming engine oil i noticed it immidiatedly after it was over heated every long drive of 300 km started consuming half litre of engine oil and i was forced to sell my car in cheap coz dealer told me if i get my engine repaired will cost me 1,50,000 . I gave my car in throw away prise . I am disposing all TATA cars from now .
Ride Quality & Handling: If u r driving car version without ABS , EBD , it easily goes out of control on highways and specially on hills where it can easily skid away from highway or even overturn .
Final Words: CHEAP , nothing else no value for money no resale
Areas of improvement : Fuel pump , Radiator fans , air conditioning , plastics quality , exhaust pipe location , bumpers quality , avalibility of spares , extended warrenty should be made easier , feed back taken at dealer end or from company end must be handled very strictly .TATA can certainly do much better which its not doing .
