Interior (FeaFEtures, Space & Comfort) CHEEP PLASTIC. IN FEW PLACES THE SHARP EDGES REQUIRES BIT TAPPERING. OTHERWISE VALUE FOR MONEY.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox THE PETROL VERSION IS NOT SO FULE EFFICIENT AND I GET AROUND 10-11 KPL.
Ride Quality & Handling EXCELLENT RIDE AND GOOD GRIP ON ROAD AT HIGH SPEED.
Final Words THE MAIN ASPECT ANY OWNER WILL LIKE TO SEE IS THAT HIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE TROUBLE FREE AND THE COST OF MAINTANENCE IS LOW. I HAVE EXPERIANCED THAT MY CAR REQUIRES FREQUENT VISIT TO GARAGE. IN A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR THE CAR WAS FREQUENTLY TAKEN TO SERVICE CENTER FOR ONE OR THER REASON. SURPRISING AIRFILTERS WERE CHANGED TWICE BY AUTHORISED DEALERS IN DELHI WITH IN PERIOD OF ONE YEAR(TECHNICALLY THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO CONVINCE ME THE REASON). RECENTLY AFTER 3RD SERVICE THE CAR RADIATOR FAN FAILED ON HIGHWAY. THE TATA ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE TOLD TO VISIT NEAREST AUTHORISED DEALER FOR FAN REPLACEMENT. IT TOOK MORE THAN 10 DAYS FOR THE DEALERTO ARRANGE SPARES AND THAT TO AFTER LOGING FORMAL COMPLAIN WITH THE CO. FOR MORE THAN 10 DAYS THE CAR REMAINED PARKED UNSED. IF SUCH PROBLEMS ARE SEEN IN GURANTEE PERIOD WHEN THE REPAIR IS FOC WHAT EXPENDITURE ONE SHOULD EXPECT WHEN THE CAR BECOMES OLD AND OUT OF GURANTEE PERIOD.
Areas of improvement IN THE INFORMAL DISUSSION WITH OTHER OWNERS AND THE SERVICE EXECUTIVE I HAVE CONCLUDED THAT MOST OF THE PROBLEMS ARE BECAUSE BAD MANUFACTURING. THE PDC AS POINTED OUT BY MAZNA OWNER IS ALSO NOT SYSTAMATIC. THE NEW CAR SHOULD NOT GO TO SERVICE CENTER OTHER THAN ROUTINE SERVICE. IN ANY OTHER CASE THE REPLACEMENT OF PART SHOULD TRIGER THE RETRO EFFECT ANY THE REASON FOR THE PART FAILURE SHOULD BE TRACED TO FACTORY/ VENDOR LEVEL. THE MANUFATURING DEFECTS OFTEN SHOWUP ONCE THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AND LEAD TO PRESSURES ON THE OLD STYLE SERVICE CENTERS. TATA SHOULD TRY TO ACHIVE THE STANDARDS /BANCHMARKS SET BY SAY HONDA. THEY SHOULD CONSIDER SETTING UP EXCLUSIVE SERVICE CENTERS FOR HIGH END VEHICLES AND NOT TO BE CLUBED WITH TAXI OWNERS. ATTITUDE OF THE SERVICE CENTERS WHEN DEALING WITH IS CUSTOMERS WILL HEPL IN INCREASING ITS GOODWILL/SALES.

Tata manza is d only sedan car in this price. It has competition with ford fiesta and swift dzire. Swift dzire's interior is not upto d mark for that price. And ford fiesta has a lot of maintainence so this I recommend is the best sedan for this price. If you don't belive me take it's test drive and u will believe me. Tata has improved it's engine. For more features watch the youtube aajtak review for manza. Trust me it's best. Tata manza has good space and nice colours. The best colors are Monarch Red and White. It has good music system and great speakers My review is true. Buy d manza. It has good handling and the steering is very stylish with audio controls as well. Its boot capacity is 460 litres and which is fantastic. Overall it's a fantabulous car. All the reviews are wrong. It's mileage is 19 in d highways and 16 in the cities and overall is 18.1 kmpl. It's rear seats are very comfortable and interior is absolutely luxury. It's road grip is good and the drive is very smooth. It has a nice speedometer.It's the best sedan car of Tata. It has a information box in it which tells the mileage,time and also the distance which can be travelled in the remaining fuel.It also shows the outside temperature. It will be d best sedan afte 25 years also in this price.

Exterior Supeb exterior, I seen people taking photograph with my car, when drive in city people turn around to have a look on.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Super space, even my both kid can sleep as sleeing on Bad, seat are giving comfert to the thinking of maharaja style.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is supeb, fuel economy is good, gearbox have some problem its quite hard in going 2-3, reverse its OK.
Ride Quality & Handling Super ride quality and its sharp turning can make any bodybody fall in love with it.
Final Words The best VFM car in sedan, I have driven close to 10k both in city and on highway, I feel really satisfied, before buying my Manza I booked swift dezire, after test riding the Manza I cancelled that, and feel fully satisfied with my decision, of at the time off self availability attracted me.
Areas of improvement Dont really know if the gear shifting problem is unique to my vehicle or common to all, Plastics can be imploved a little.

Exterior Exteriors are good if we compare in this segment,but car is very bulky. and driver has no judgement in this car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Exelent, very luxurious, arm rest is very good as we compare to others, but you have to compromise with plastic quality.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Not as quick as we want (as i drive swift also, it is much quicker),but it is a refined car, top speed is good.gear box is not up to mark, fuel economy is good at speed of 70-80.
Ride Quality & Handling Great, soft ride, no engine noise inside cabin, handling is best in cls,steering is vry good.
Final Words If u want a sedan and not want to spend ur lot ot buks,then only go for it,otherwise u have better options in hathbacks. or go for other 8 lac sedan.
Areas of improvement We don't get quality in it,so plastics and all looks very cheap.

I bought a manza quadrajet euro III in july 2010. since then i have had a mileage of 19.3 kmpl and it really goes 23-25 on highways. I have driven 11500 km since then and 4200 km in 1 week (jamnagar- jammu & back). highways, rough roads, sea level & altitude of 3.1 km (10000 feet), my baby has taken it all with ease. I like it's "heavy feeling" steering which is easy to turn yet firm.
Interiors are just ok. leg space is enormous and matchless. comfort is awsome, I will share a recent incident, I encountered in my IIIrd service. I got oil changed in my car. MY service station guys replaced oil with wrong grade of oil (meant for indica v2 etc) but charged me for synthetic oil (3.5 times expensive than normal & works 2-2.5 times more and better). i could instantaneously feel engine vibrations, rapid rise of temp and loss of efficiency at low engine temp. after 5 months and driving 1000 km I decided to go to service stn. to my surprise mechanic told me that my car has wrong grade of oil. they accepted their mistakes after some talks (threats to sue them in court) and my oil and oil filter was replaced. All proud manza owners, kindly watch out for this error when changing oil. this superb engine needs to be run with synthetic oil only.
I request all manza boys & gals to share their experiences, so we learn from our mistakes.

Exterior Looks elegant, especially with alloy wheels.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent space and comfort supplemented with great features like bluetooth and usb and aux ports. Not to forget steering mounted audio controls.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Horrible running noise, the car feels strained even at normal speeds. Fuel economy is average, gearbox is below average.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is poor due to poor quality of rear strut assembly, already replaced within 40000 kms.
Final Words Car registeration number TN 01 AK 6264. Engine running noise not rectified despite repeated complaints, car was left with the dealer for 2 weeks and returned with the same noise. Both dealer and TML chennai office claim that this noise is normal in all Manzas. The petrol car sounds worse than a Diesel car. So much for TML's efforts to attend to the faults mentioned! My friend has a petrol Manza but there is no such noise in his car. Therefore the claims of the dealer and TML, chennai that the noise is normal is strange.
Areas of improvement Actually attending to the faults! Listening to customers. I've wasted 6 months in correspondence with TML, chennai! Please take complaints seriously if you hope to get customer satisfaction.

I am a proud owner of this car. It gives me more pride when people aroud looks at it when its passes by. I took Wine Red colour and its so Sexy that people falls in love with it. Even one of my neighour regret for not waiting one month and took Swift Dzire. After thoroughly seeing my car, he was looked like a looser. Hats off to TATA.
Very Good looks. Look better then Ford fieasa and Sx4. People are looking at car with surprise when it passes by.
G8 Space, G8 features. You name it and it is there. All sorts of saftey warning and alarm, Bluetooth, Music system with CD, Control on steering wheel.

IF Tata can improve their dealers and service stations in the same way they did in this car, I can challance No one can beat TATA. Gone are the day when Tata was synonomus to rattling, noice and other issues.
Just grab it guyes or you will be looser. Prices will go up for DSL cars.

Exterior The Car looks bulky from outside. It doesn't have the stunning looks to catch you off-guard but it has a decent exterior facade. Dew White has a specially good appeal. Chrome lining(only higher versions) on the door handle and the strips out-side gives the car a very elegant look. Front of the car including it's grille and headlights is very good but due to the heavy boot, the back looks out of shape.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) First of all to be mentioned in the interiors is the roomy cabin. The driver and co-driver have ample space and leg room. Height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support helps the driver not to feel any strain while driving. Back row has ample space even after drivers seat is pushed all the way back. Leather upholstery and two tone seat covers and door trims are very appealing. DIS Console and the driver instrument cluster is very well set out. Steering mounted controls with integrated Audio system gives the interior a very rich look. Except the cheap plastics used inside, Interiors are very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is quiet efficient. The pick-up and running are very smooth. Handling is very easy. Turbo has a good power delivery. The ride is quite smooth even on Bumpy roads. During the first 1000 Kms. of running my car delivered around 13 Kmpl. mileage and should stabilise any where between 16-18 Kmpl. Gear shifts are a bit hard(being a hyundai user before, it was quite obvious).
Ride Quality & Handling Overall ride quality and handling is very good. Due to the bulky design, It handles very well on the high-ways especially while over taking and maneuvering sharp turns and cuts, Steering wheel and the gripping is quite comfortable. Driver seat is height adjustable and has lumbar support which helps him not feeling any strain during the drive.
Final Words It's great value for money car. Over-all performance will be better than expected going by Tata brand name. Except the cheap plastics inside there is nothing to complain. Bulky boot, High-end features and roomy interiors are the stand alone features when compared to other cars in the same price range.
Areas of improvement Good quality of Plastics and better design of boot and tail lamps to cover the bulky look.

Its about 9 months since I am driving Manja Elan & for sure its one of my error of judgement to buy this car. The car is not fit to be called a luxury sedan - Its suspension is horrible & for a petrol car, cabin is very very noisy. Electronics are equally un-reliable : door locks works some time & other time it simply refuse to open. Same goes for handsfree bluetooth system. Its boot is big but it takes muscle to close the lid - & I am not joking.
Does it run - Ofcourse it is But I would like to drive my car with confidence & this machine has not given me that.
I had unique experience, when after 1st service, the lady called up me & asked for service feedback - She explained that rating to be done on scale of 8-poor, 9-good & 10 -excellent. As per her 7& below is complaint & not accepted !!!! Expereince was repeated after 2nd servicing. This manipulation of MFA coming from house of Tata & that is sad part.
I already have made up mind to sale this one - know I am going to lose serious money but see no way I can keep on having a car which neither gives proper comfort nor reliability.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Effortlessly touches 155kmph, 0 to 100 in 14.5sec, 14.5 to 19.5 on highways. Cheap quality parts such as Power windows and suspension bush.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable, good suspensions, little body roll is there. ABS works very well and are very helpful also.
Final Words Happy with the overall performance of the car however TATA service centers are pathetic. 5 times my power windows/twice front bush/once altenator/one a/c in&out converter/once ABS booster/once drivers seat belt have been replaced. But thankfully I opted for extended warrenty while buying so i did not pay even a single penny for any of the obove mentioned parts or labour.
Areas of improvement Plastic quality of some parts and TATA motors work shops are killer. Some research should be done by TATA engineers on the cheap quality parts and design.
