      Exterior ok.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No specific features in this car,space is good,and not comfortable hard shockabsorbers.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pickup and speed is nice,fuel economy acceptable for all class,gear box es are not better than other diesel hatchbacks.

      Ride Quality & Handling Above 60kmph we feel like sailing in highways but in normal roads its like cart or lorry in travelling.

      Final Words Tata motors should do the suspension good and make the road grip, soft shock absorbers and strong axles, noiseless engine, this will be the indias no one diesel hatch back, if this car have the above changes it will definitely beat the swift,polo etc, now its engine pickup was too good. I request the tata motors to do the car nice with same appearance. If the above changes can done the car may worth for present price with slight increasing the price.

      Areas of improvement Interior,roadgrip,axle importantly suspension&shockabsorbers for front and rear, strong dashboards. led fog lampfor front and rear may improve the class of the car.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Keep in mind that this car is not exactly meant for long journeys. Seats can be improved to provided back confort. Ideally you can sit for around 3 hours beyond which your back begins its itch.

      Lack of basic essentials like cupholders and seat pockets for magazines which is a given is missing even in the top end LX version. It hardly adds to their cost, why crimp on quality?

      Basic audio system, 2 way speakers on the highend LX car seems miserly, but, really, I expected as much.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite refined, not much like the Vista (with the FIAT engine), but does the job, with enough power to spare. Top speed on highway is 145 kmph though it tends to loose control. I guess the Turbocharger does an excellent job, but the gearing ratios do not seem to consider the turbocharger.

      Clutch appears to do the job, but I already had a clutch replaced under warranty due to hard clutch within 1 year @ 18000 kms mileage. I would still need to check further now that it has been replaced to give proper feedback on the clutch.

      The standout feature of the Indica eV2 undoubtedly is its mileage. I get 18 in stop and go traffic Bangalore which is quite an impressive figure. No, I'm not joking, it gives that much in city conditions. Highway, with AC on, I got 20.4 which appears average. Combine this with the low cost of ownership and it is an awesome package.

      Just wish I could speak for the service. There have been simple complaints right from the start, like air coming from blower vents, even when the blower is shut down. This has never been taken care of and my repeated complaints have only got them to state that 'no worries, sir, will be taken care of in the next service.' The same happened with the hazard lights. They inadverdently switch on randomly in city daytime conditions when there is no use for it, and I have to repeatedly toggle the hazard lights to 'take care of it'.

      Also, wish there was more packing provided to cover the sound of the diesel engine. The packing provided is quite shallow and the sound of the constant diesel hum is enough to give you migranes and pop your ears. 

      Ride Quality & Handling Average finish on the car, but surprisingly, I recently sat in Fabia and found me praising my Indica eV2 more! Fit and finish on the car is lousy. The gaps between the doors are too big and dust creeps into the gaps quite easily.

      The car is quite easy to handle, from a driver's perspective. Comfort is minimal, but spacious for a car in this category.

      Final Words Lowest cost of ownership combined with the higher mileage in stop and go traffic makes it an ideal city car.

      Areas of improvement 

       a. What was the guy who designed the car thinking about when putting the stickers on the car?!? 3000 bucks for the stickers is way too high even for a high end car. Try something else, please.

      b. Service!

      c. Indica eV2 Lx model is provided with alloy wheels. The catch however, is that the spare wheel is normal rim wheel. So when I recently switched the tyres, I first thought the dealer cheated me, and when I verified with them, they informed me that the package consisted of 4 alloy wheels + 1 rim wheel. When I ran it with the spare wheel, it was immediately visible and spoils the looks of the car.

      d. Where are the tubeless tyres? I received tubed tyres. The dealer confirms that this is how it is provided on eV2. (Or remove it from the brochure).

      Mileage, does the job without any fuss, performs exceptionally well inspite of bad serviceRotten service record. Had to repeat the complaints throughout the year, but still persist

      Exterior No doubt best among all Indica's so far, no comparison with ritzs and I 20s ..but then you dont pay that much money too.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfort is trademark Indica, design and finish inside is of course economical.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No complains here, almost completing 1 year in bumper to bumper traffic in delhi driving around 60 KM daily, Best in class fuel economy with moderate AC, 18-19 Km/ litre Diesel.

      Ride Quality & Handling Smooth handling but ride quality is so so.

      Final Words This is a car for someone who wants to extract best value for each Rupee spent, all in all paying less than 5.5 lakhs on road a year before , I got efficiency of 18-19 km/l in  city ; alloy wheels,front power windows and factory fit music system. I dont think any car stands close to this model.

      Of course this is not the option for people who love to stereotype; who search and are ready to spend for art and style for their money rather than performance.

      Areas of improvement I am not sure whether i should recommend to TATAs to improve in interior build quality with the budget in which this car is available right now, it wont be fair. But definitely they can improve a lot in the behavior of their workshop staff.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) NO COMPARISON FOR ANY CARS ON THIS SEGMENTS-VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY IN DEED-WHO WILL GIVE YOU A COMFORT  AS IF SITTING IN A SOFA AND RIDING COMFORTABLY AT VERY COMPETENT COST IN INDIA? 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox NO CARS GIVE MORE THAN 15 TO 18 KMS PER LITRE IN INDIAN ROADS/CITIES-THEN WHY DO YOU LOOK DOWN ON THIS?

      Ride Quality & Handling NO OTHER CARS GIVE SUCH COMFORT LIKE INDICA FAMILY CARS.

      Final Words I AM PROUD TO SAY I BUY ONLY INDICAS SINCE 1999 AND I HAVE PURCHASED SO FAR INDICA(DLE) IN 1999, DLS IN 2002 & 2007, VISTA IN 2010 AND MANZA IN 2011 JAN-NOW I AM GOING TO EV2 EITHER PETROL OR DIESAL VERSION BEFORE DEC-2011. NO OTHER CARS ATTRACT ME SO MUCH WHEN YOU COMPARE THE TECHNOLOGY & USAGE IN INDIA- BETTER BUY A DIESAL CAR FROM INDICA GROUP, ENJOY FOR 3 YEARS AND DISPOSE THAT FOR FAIR PRICE AND BUY NEW ONE- DO YOU KNOW MOST OF THE CALL TAXI DRIVERS PREFER INDICA THAN ANY OTHER CARS FOR THEIR SUSTAINANCE- EXTERNAL BEAUTY WONT BE REALISTIC WHICH OTHER CARS DO-INDICA REALLY IS SECOND TO NONE-ALL MAKES GIVE PROBLEMS AFTER 10000 KMS-BUT WHY DON'T YOU CONSIDER INDICA FAMILY WHICH DOES NOT HEAD ACHES OFTEN- YOU KNOW, I GOT SERVICE COMFORT AT MIDNIGHT WHEN I WAS STRUCT UP IN REMOTE PLACE IN KERALA- I MADE A CALL TO CALL CENTER AND THE SERVICE MINDED PEOPLE FROM PUNE ARRANGED HELP TO ME AT KERALA TO GET READY THE VEHICLE IN 2 HOURS-CAN U BELIEVE THIS-THIS IS THE REAL SERVICE NETWORK- NOWHERE I HEARD ABOUT SUCH RESCUE IN INDIA-HATS OFF TO TATA MOTORS AND GOOD SERVICE BY TAFE MOTORS IN COIMBATORE.

      Areas of improvement What else we require from Tata Motors in India? They give good real comfort & safety in their vehicles at reasonable price without false hope to suit our needs in all conditions- cheapest can't be the best- Ensure your safety & comfort before going in for bargaining.

      1) Buying experience was good -Sales Service by Tata motors showroom was good.

      2) Ride Of the car is Good (As known most Tata cars).

      3) Lookswise Its a Ok look That we have seen from 2 decades , Performance of the car is Adequate - Diesel 1.4L cr4 engine is torque'y Very Good fuel economy -Average 20-22 kmpl highway/city.

      4) Large Aftersales Service Network.

      5) Pros= Spacious Hatchback , Good Mileage, Lx (top model) -All required features At its time Available, Cons-Average Looking Simalar Design Since 2 Decades, Average Handling, Average Interior Quality.

      6) Additional fact- As known Tata motors Cars Strong Sheetmetal Body compared to others in segment.

      Exterior Ok, it is heavier than any car in this segment which indicates that is saftier in ever respect.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Much improved as compared to Indica launched in 1998. I did a 700 km self drive in a single day without any backache or any trouble.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gr8 Performance.

      Final Words I was comparing Alto & Ev2 but i went for ev2. surprisingly gr8 fuel average, legrum, head rum. I think its the best DIESEL Car in the entry level segment that fulfil all ur basic needs in a prise starting at 3.99 only.

      Petrol Prices in our city is 70 plus & that of diesel id just 43.36 Tha fuel average i m getting from my ev2 is 22.89 kmpl. its not with in 2-3 k km. My vehicle has now touched the meter till 13000 km.

      As far as the maintenance of this veh is concerned, its not that costly. We people hav an aprehension that diesel cars hav more maintenance. Thts wrong.. This is my 2nd Indica. I have a Honda City too. But 1 thing u all might not know. Indica is the 1st car in India 2 have Independent Suspension. Even my honda dont have.

      Best in class fuel average, ample of leg room,head room & ground clearance-

      Exterior This new version looks very good . The new stylish exterior graphics attract everyone.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space for 5 persons. Excellent new Idea - you need not put your feet on accelarator & brakesimulteniously. On slops. just concentrate on cluth & brake. Acclerator padel not needed . Good A/C, , Boot space is enough for a family picnic.

      Ride Quality & Handling Easy handling, definately, compaired to any other Diesel car in this class. Inside cabin - it feels just as good & comfortable as any other Petrol CAR.

      Final Words Best buy for this segment in Diesel with 25KMPL, Still to be measured. Nothing like it if it proves as per their ads.

      Now after using the Car for more than 3 months & nearing 1500Kms. I strongly agree with my review. It has been a very good experiance also. Got very good on road support also from TATA. I just wanted to clarify some signal! Till date I find this a best buy for me.

      I brought this car in Jan 2016 and till date (02/11/2016) this vehicle run 42,000 KM. This is very good car but you need to maintain it.

      Most of the time my single trip is 437Km which is nonstop, I don’t feel any issue with this comfort Laval is very good mileage is about 20Km/l with AC. Overall this is a good car you can buy if you are a regular long drive traveller like in weekend going your home from your workplace then it is very good option for you.

      If you want more juice then you need to drive your car at 2000 rpm mark which comes to 90 KM/h. before buying this car i have waited almost 6 months for Kite aka Zica aka Tiago.

      But again this is not bad, this car is used by every taxi operator in India and "Taxi operator" are only using value for money cars mind it.

      This car can reach its top speed of 155+ very quickly, but braking is not up to the mark above 100KM/h.

      Now comes to issue with Tata Service Centres (This is same for all Tata Vehicles)

      Service quality is really pathetic, I have owned 2 Tata vehicles and my experience is same. Tata is giving everything pocket friendly but this baggers are destroying Tata’s Name.

      Very good car for medium Indian families .very good milage car..It is first indian car which have total desi technology.Taxi driver love very much Tata Indica ev2 car. They like their features and milage.gear sifting is very soft and easy.suspension is very good .AC power steering is also very good.
