I Bought Vista(I'll not call Indica) 2 weeks ago & have driven it almost 300 Kms. Found it to be the most attractive car ints segment. Double Barrel Lamps give light as if its day light. Porcelin White colour give it a Royal looks
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Space is Mmmmuuuaaahhh. I am 5'11" & bit extra heavy but neither me nor me sitting behind me find any issue. Now my Wife & 11 month old daughter are happy that I don't hit them with my shoulders. Dual tone interior are a pleasure to watch & easy to clean. Some ppl say quality is bad, I find it better than i10 or swift as its not plastic feel at all. Comfort is awsome. I don't feel driving. I feel Gliding on worst of roads. U don't feel too much movement inside the car. Thanks to Fiat Suspension.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
This is here Hats off to Fiat's 1.3 L Quadrajet, DOHC, 156 V, 75 BHP & 190NM Torque @1750RPM. Engine is quiet & very peppy & Gerabox is a real surprise(Fiat Again). It gives a typical Sport car feel when u change gears. My frnds owing Swift Diesel are Fan of my car's Pickup & Gearbox. Economy I am getting is 16 with AC & very short distances. Infact on my new car I have beaten few Swift Diesel for pickup.
Ride Quality & Handling
This is where Tata has gone miles. Small pothole, stones, breakers are like a slight thud & gone. So Amazing.
Final Words
Let me Remind, its just a 300 Kms driven car till now so not sure what will happen in future. For Safer side, I bought 2+2 or 1,50,000KMs Warrenty which cover hell lot of things(I have read Extd warrenty manual carefully before buying) which other car company don't offer. Foot mats, Sai Baba Temple, Mud Guard, Ambi Pure perfume was given complimentry. I got it financed from TMFL. Not too much of wait for Finance(Approval in only 3 days). ABS Motors GGN are nice in handling customers. Overall car cost me 4.9 Lacs including tooooo many discounts ;). I am happy with the deal.
Areas of improvement
May be need a bit improvement in Noise from Engine externally as I find it slightly higher than Swift/Ritz DDIS. Rest everything is upto the mark.

Tata Motors cannot deliver quality, I am currently in dispute with them for my June 2009 purchased Indica Vista Aura Multijet in Warranty which has serious rusting issues as all undercarriage parts are corroded, AC Condenser Bracket 100% rusted whos base gave away and the Condenser would have fallen on the Road if not taken to the Service Center timely, Every Nut & Bolt Rusted !!!
A Police Complaint is also made against Concord Motors & Tata Motors for Blackmail & Threats,
Concord Motors is 100% Subsidary of Tata Motors & thus sells off Defective & Unsold Stocks of Tata Motors as they have to me, they forced upon me a 2008 Made Car in 2009 with an unwanted discount after Blocking me of Rs 51,000 for Booking a New Car. All is available via Emails exchanged.
If Tata Motors fail to take back the defective Car as sold to me than I will be publishing the pictures in the Media soon with much more, keep posted.
My most sincere advise to all, buy anything but a Tata Vehicle if its your hard earned Money.

Exterior The Vista looks great from the front..with the tripple barrel lamps and chrome grill & chrome package all around. The Rear of the Indica though needs a new look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in class space, Bluetooth, USB, 6 speaker music system, Power sockets at front & rear, power mirrors, power windows, Audio controls on Steering wheel, Intelligent Rear wipers.. Best in class features ! Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine Performance - Quiet Quadrajet engine, fantastic mileage, very responsive for Overtaking
Ride Quality & Handling Great stability at high speeds, ABS really helps. Easy to handle in the city and on highways too. Suspensions are great and much improved like the gear shifts.
Final Words Have driven 1800 kms in a months time since i bought it. Much. much better than all snobby brands which just take the indian consumer for a ride. I used to own a Chevy Optra earlier and dont miss it after buying the VISTA. In fact, it has more features. I tested the Etios diesel (sounds like a tractor), I20, .. u name it. So.. try the Vista..it will surprise u!!
Areas of improvement Fit and finish of rubber & plastic components, shape of the front mirrors can be better, Instrument panel needs to be like the Manza & not in the center. Distance to empty feature & outside temperature feature needs to be provided.

Exterior The design is very much competitive, though the finesse is missing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are well up to the mark.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The gearbox is smooth to use, the shift is placed well, very well in reach. The performance is nice. The car does not shake in low speed & high gear. Pick up is good as well.
Ride Quality & Handling To me, the handling may not seem best in its class. I feel the handling of the car needs serious attention to make it best is its class, that I suspect is due to overall car weight or weight ratio (may not be correct, I am no Engineer, but I have sense about on road running machines).
Final Words It’s a great car. Tata can do few technical changes to make it best in its class. Should they do it, as this is the most selling car they have in their armory

In our family we have two cars to use 1st as natural choice was Swift but we tried the Indica Vista also as a alternate car as the wait time for the 2nd car swift was also very high.
My self & my bro have driven the car fo rmore than 40 thousand Kms & have found that Vista is almost half the price to maintain when compared to Swift. Tata guys probably do not know this.
Exterior Looks of Vista is not that appealing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space- leg space,lumbers support , seat height. Knee space is good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good torque & stable at high sppeds.BEst part was whn i bought AMC for 40000 kms for 4 years. The cost is very cheap.Ot covers all serivces & all consumables- clutch etc..it was fantastic.
Ride Quality & Handling Good Cornering.
Final Words Will not buy Swift next time...Vista is a much much Value For money.
Areas of improvement Skin Panels, Car needs beauty...& added a glamour & pride to own it.

Exterior The only proble I feel is the exterior design, So many changes inside but externally it looks same old Vista. IF you want to satisfy your neigbours then don't buy this car, But if you really want a powerfull hatch which will rammed ahead you on highway's and within city...Go for it. Its a bullet with the trigger on your foot.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As soon as anybody enters in my new Vista D90. the first thing he/she says is "wow so spacious". Its a curvy design outside. hence you won't feel its BIGNESS from outside but as soon as other Suzuki owners sit in this car they feel like king. Its very spacious. I am 6 ft tall, even though I strech my seat to half back rear seat passenger doesn't needs to be aqueezes he's still comfortable. And the best part of the rear seat is it can easily accomodate 4 avg Indian's comfortably. As far as riding comfort is concern i must say its very good as compare to my earlier vehicle (Old Swift). The best part is adjustable seat hight for driver. The kind of space the cabin has to keep my stuff like 2 mobile phones, purse, sunglasses, one water bottle, slips, notes & coins is very handy. And the best feature is a Blue5. I can connect upto five mobile phones to my cars audio and listen music, take calls etc. Some good featurs to list & I loved are - Extra Mobile charger for rear seat passengers, lumber support, rear wiper&defogger, front & rear fog lamps, steering mouted controls, extra tray under co-drivers seat, 60:40 foldable rear seats, 4 door component speakers with amazing sound output, Eletrically controlled side mirrors, black color roof top for the red beauty - looks diffrent, magazine storage spave for all doors, 4 power windows, child like for power window's & doors seprate., ABS with EBD which gives amazing braking, you can take turns even at 90 and above without fear of rolling your vehicle. etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This FIAT engine is the most powerfull engine in hatchback catogry gives me 89 BHP, You feel the turbocharger effect as you touch 80km/hr effortlessly. You don't believe me take any Vista D90 take it on a slighly less crowded raod and experince the overtaking the power will amaze you. It shoots like a bullet. I drove this vehicle from Nasik to dhule (325 Kms) and it gave me milege of 21Km/ltr with AC. In Mumbai traffic it gives me 16 to 17 km/ltr with AC. Gearbox is compareble with swift.
Ride Quality & Handling As I already explained riding quality & handling should be the best feature of this car. You don't feel shy & powerlesss of any of thoes Innova's & other SUV's on highways. Handling is very very easy & effortless as its clutch & gear are very smooth.
Final Words IF YOU WANT A POWERFULL MACHINE & A SPACIUS VEHICLE TO ACCOMODATE YOUR FAMILY OF 4&5. GO FOR THIS VEHICLE. DO NOT FORM YOUR OPINION ON OTHERS, AS TATA IS INFAMOUS NOW A DAYS. GO WITH YOUR OWN GUTS AND EXPEIRIENCE ON YOUR OWN. IF YOU CAN COMPROMISE WITH THE EXTERNAL LOOKS OF THIS CAR I BET YOU WON'T REGRET YOUR DECISION.

Hey let me tell u the new vista is a amazing car.I first wondered whether it was a tata’s car.
Exteriors:The large petal shaped head lamps give it a futuristic look,it has front fog lamps as well for the aqua and aura.i drove the aura.
2.the tail lamp looks similar to that of the Marina but not really is similar.It has new diffused lens to give it a bright look not the compleate clear lens.
3.Sides look good with body side beeding body coloured and orvms.The quality of the fit and finish is even.The gaps are well managed.
4.Outside roof antena looks good.
Interiors:
1.The top end has the full fabric seats(even aqua)and beige duo tone dashboard.The steering wheel could have been given a still more better look but its fine.
2.The plastic quality is fine and the gaps should have been managed better .Especially on the internal door handles.Once i just pressed door handles to see the solidity while closing the door.It sounded keeunk..That was embarrising to me.The door closes well with a nice jjick ...kida sound.
4.Nice placement of the intrument panel as it gives u a radical look of the dash(just as in spark).It realy doest bother the driver.you need not turn head to look at it ,just move ur eyes 2 ur left rather down(regular position)
5.Fine stereo system its from blaupunkt thats wat the exe told me.It is above avg no blasting bass any wayss.
6.Four door p.windows like in most of the top ends.
7.Seats are dam comfortable ill give 100 out of 100 for it the rear seats are so fine that u feel like heaven,surely best in class like no other in its class.
8.The AC is good the vents look very futuristic like no other in its class.It really chills the cabin in no time.(voltas ac may be, coz tata-tata).
9.The space is well utilised by bot holders,The glove box is huge.Best in class.
Engine and ride handling.:
1.It has the fiat multijet known as quadra jet in vista and DDIS in Swift.
2.Absolutely no engine sound inside the cabin,Its false that it had "noice heard inside very loud" i bet them they might not have experienced it 4 sure or might be biased.
3.The gear shift is smooth and nice.
4.Very responsive power steering(hydrolic).
5.The kerb weight is 1140kgs it acelarates very fast with 4 inside the cabin.Great pick up 4 a diesel car.
6.ABS is a must i believe, when especially on high ways.Coz it is a breeze when its on the ramp...........
Fuel Efficiency:
1. It should be arround 16-17 in city as Swift is giving 17-18 in city the K. weight of the indica is slightly more by 60 kgs.But the engine is tuned for a linear pickup rather a rush after 2000 Rpm as in swift.High way it should give us 20kmpl equal to that of swift. But definitely not less than 15kmpl.
Overall the car is very good on all parametres.
Surely better than SWIFT AND GETZ (fine on space,but a little over priced than the kind of comforts it offers) coz they dont offer u space as much as this car.I surely mean it....... just step inside the car and you decide.
Obviously SWIFT is a great looker.But overall comforts n space interiors i felt vista is good in these depts.
TATA is a good company all its SBUs are KNOWN to us EG:TISCO,TITAN,FASTRACK,VOLTAS,TATA TEA,TATA SALT,TANISHQ.Obviously TATA motors.
This car is a fearless Choice COZ FIAT engine(best diesel engine manufacturer)Good ride quality,comfort, style.Forget about what Biased minds say.
Coz while buying a TATA ,MARUTHI,HYUDAI.Never be bothered about status symbol.
IF U WANT STATUS buy a SEDAN which is OF "GM,OR HONDA" Atleast not less than that.
Rest is ur choice........

Final Words
The car is good but I am very sorry to inform that my car was not accepted, infact returned, on 27 Dec-2009 when I had taken it for my first free servicing to the dealer M/s 'Motor Sales Ltd' Charbagh, Lucknow, UP. This entire scene has disappointed me badly in my otherwise good experience with the car. The TATAs must take care in improving their servicing network to avoid such shameful harassments to their market image.
I had got my vehicle serviced at oher service center & naturally I shall never go back to the same dealer for servicing although I had bought my vehicle from him.
More over I feel this shall be my last vehicle of TATA brand and I shall switch back to my earler brand of Maruti Suzuki in future.
Areas of improvement
The TATAs must take care in improving their servicing network to avoid such shameful harassments to their market image.
The car is very good and I didn't mind changing from my earlier brands.My car is not accepted for servicing by the dealer, Ihad to got it done elasewhere. This is very bad
