Areas of improvement Ac blower power, use some good tyres Add some latest technolgies compared to some cars Finaly I kneed to say something why peoples are not giving option to tata cars. now days peoples are thinking only the out looks they are not seeing the machine commercialy we are calling as a car but technically it has a machine we are in india why people are not giving option to indian make brand basically u people are always think to purchased imported car but we are living in India we are travelling day by day in our roads better think we kneed to use indian make give option for indian products. My last final words is what ever iam typing no one bother about this I know the vista is really amazing its a good car and best family car the last word pls think u peoples born in india u are studied here u are working here u are doing buisness here every thing u peoples are getting here then why u peoples not purchasing a indian car u know the short story of rolls royce car wat thappen in india for what purpose every bodys nows but indian cars never done like that think think think it all ur choice Dont mistake me this my honourable word for all tata vista vx abs diesel varient quatrejet sedan class 2013 end model is a amazing one.

The saga of quality of any Tata product is gone, nowadays the Tata is not selling a single product with 100% quality assured.
I bought a Indica vista from a chennai dealer called Tafe Reach, it started from there.
1. The central locking is tripping off all of sudden when car moves.
2. They changed the steering rack 3 times.
3. The front and rear shock absorbers got changed
4. The Engine head assembly got changed.
5. The left hand side rear view mirror was broken in to pieces in the service center.
6. The battery was misplaced at service center.
7. It took one and half month to get the vehicle back after the head assembly replacement.
8. Main Belt was worn out
9. One fine day battery gone dead
10. Changed the clutch plates
11. Changed the drive shaft
12. Twice in a month the vehicle visits the Tafe reach service center and sits there for 3 days on average.
13. In one and half year the vehicle visited service center 36 times.
Hope now you will rethink before you go for buying a Tata Indica Vista. I strongly recommend not to buy a Tata Indica Vista.

I bought Vista - Aqua 1.3 QJ 40 days ago. Tata's have improved a lot over earlier Indica versions. The engine basically is powerful, Clutch is smooth, performance does not pull dowm when AC is ON, unlike in previous versions. And not to mention the low engine noise inside. The interior space is really large and 3 can comfortably seat in rear when two 6 footers in front. The exterior plastic quality however is not good as the handles and the front plastic panel over the front glass started fading in 40 days. It looks odd when the body looks new but not the handles and panel, just after washing the car. Otherwise, all features are good and it is definitely an alternate choice for Swift Diesel. My advice is, if you are looking for petrol engine better to choose Swift and for diesel engine 1.3 Quadrajet is a wise choice.

hi friends...
i bought d aura version(quadrajet) on 8th of oct 2008 .. and hv driven abt 3000 kms so far ..... what i can say abt d car ... is dat its a v v good car, with a v good engine n its performance ... low noise, high quality drive, v powerful, excellent AC, everything is just wonderful abt d car ... cant find any drawback... d only thing is a slight refinement is needed in platics quality n rubber quality, wid of course.. ABS n air bags.... moreover if d tatas can reduce d weight of d car by a few kilos .... it wd add to d performance more....also do give alloys as an initial fitment ..... i hv a friend who owns a skoda...... and has also bought vista quadra....and now he says .... he prefers vista quadra dan his skoda ... well now u can imagine....!

Unlike the Tata Indica which people used to buy because of a compromise, the Vista will change all that....To start with it looks like someone has shrunk the Honda CRV. It's has a refined engine which does not feel underpowered, noise and vibration level inside the cabin are excellent, two tone dash give the cabin an airy feel and plastic quality is improved, the space inside is enormous and five people can travel in comfort., Diver and co driver side seats gets lumber support as well, rear seat comfort is excellent.
Compare to Swift it come loaded with lots of goodies like a dual din audio system, hight adjust driver seat, rear defogger, rear wash with wiper, 60/40 split rear seats and lumber support.
The center mounted instrument panel does not distract your driving that much you get used to it very fast, The Nisan X-Trail started that in India followed by Spark then Vista.
Vista does not come with ABS and Airbags, it is not even on options.
All I can say that this price you cannot go wrong with the Tata Indica Vista... it's got great looks, good interiors and a wonder diesel powerplant under the hood.

Exterior: I love the look of it. The look from close-in front is simply majestic!
Weels look smaller in the holes - I don't like it!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Space is Simply Great, as every one knows.
Comfort: For passengers there is probably no car under 6 lakh that match Vista!
I am defensive driver (never crossed 100 km/h, yet!). Unless I have divided
highway with fencing and long visibility I will never cross this mark. Within this
limit I never felt lack of confidence in braking, which many people are complaining
about. Steering is bit heavier that most other cars, may not be easy for women.
Clutch is very soft. Gear are good. Great suspension.
Many nice features for its price and beyond. I was earlier driving a Corolla in US,
but the feel as you take the drivers seat in Vista is something that I never got
in my old corolla. Manuvarability was of course better with Corolla.
I never felt the noice level too much in Vista, nor felt the smoke from other
vehicles in the cabin (as some were complaing in some forums).
But the beeding quality is poor, I must agree.
As a driver I am enjoying every moment I sit behind the weel.
Fuel Economy: After the 2nd sevicing, I am getting 14 km/l on IITG campus,
where one does not have to stop in traffic, but need to negotiate with humps and
frequent gear changes. On highway, from GHy to Kaziranga I got 19 km/l without
A/c, which I am more than happy about. Earlier before my 2nd service I felt it
under powered at full capacity and with A/C on. After my 2nd service I never got
full capacity to test the power.
Minor Problems faced: Fuel-talk lid does not open up - some one had to open it for me
simultaneaously as I the pull the liver ! It's now fine after 2nd service.
Beeding loose at places. Rear wiper stopped working, I noticed that some one is playing
with it in my carpark and clean the dust with it for fun, most likely some school kids.
One of the rear doors has a nut loose and makes a cry as I open it fully, need to fix
in next service.
Verdict:
I would strongly recommend Vista to any sedate driver (who is sensible
and not concerned about the so called "Taxi image" of TATA).

Exterior far far better than old models but back side looks need to improve.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plastic quality is poor feels good space inside.comparatively good noise reduction. finished interior.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent performance and milege abt an avg 2o km/l.gear box is ok but should improve, forward shift is good.as all you know very well same engine of swift.good back support in driving seat no chance for backache.
Ride Quality & Handling Good power steering very easy to handle this car can drive as simple as an alto.overall its a good car i think nobody will feel bad after purchasing this car.
Final Words Its a cab car aswell as family car. suitable for long drive, am 6'2 even me can sit comfortably and drive this car will give 80 marks out of 100.
Areas of improvement Price is on the higher side should reduce 30 k, ac is good but i am not satisfied.

Exterior HELLO this car is really excellnt. it exceeds my expectations. at a time I was confused vich car to choose between swift Vdi, ritz vdi and indica vista. but after test drive I booked this car and now completed 5000 kms without and problem. sometimes it looks like a SUV.. really nice car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) About the features. nice features at all.. good power windows, power steering, air conditions etc. space is also large. Comfort is like the sedans. It gives us sedan like comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox powerful engine of 1405 cc . great fuel economy. it gives me milage of 16 with ac on 110-130 speed. Smooth gears.
Ride Quality & Handling Good ride quality and better handling on roads even 90-100 and above as comare to other cars.
Final Words GO FOR IT.
Areas of improvement Company should give mp3 player in aqua tdi model.
