      Exterior Exterior is simple, very less curves. I like the head lights, looks like an angry tiger, when lit. Tail light in morning looks out dated, but when you see it lit in night, it really looks nice. Trust me, next time you observe and you guys will second with me.

      The size of the car is huge, especially width and height. Sometimes, this is a disadvantage, like when you park on streets, one side totally overlooks all cars, therefore prone to scratches and dents by passerby.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space, space and lots of space. interiors good not great. The colour gives feeling of a very big car and airy too but at the same time they are not appealing, which itself gives an impression of cheap plastics. Plastic may be cheap and it does not matter as we are not going to chew it. It does compromise on comfort, which i think is priority. Rear seat is comfortable for 3 heavy built peoples. Feature wise its good, you get theater ambient light, which slowing goes off not sudden. It has central locking system, which automatically closes all doors when the car reaches speed of 10 kmpl, very good feature. AC is decent. In mid noon in summer, it will not chill you but only ensure that you do not sweat.

      Centre console, people say it looks downmarket, but trust me it should be at this place only. recently drove I10 had to take time separately to bend sometimes to see. In this is really convenient, just a small eye turn and you can see all.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, but needs time to get used to it. Feels initial lag, but then no issues. Gearbox decent nothing great. Fuel economy is average in city but good on highways. Lots depend on driving habit, may be mine is not good as i am getting 10 without ac in city and 16-18 with ac on highways. Frankly i don't care for mileage as this car comes for approx 60k less from its competitors. So the price factor will be set off in five years, This car is not for speed monsters, but for cool and calm driver.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Shock absorbers are ultimate. Handling is also good, even at high speeds. you can easily take a turn (i mean major curve not actual turn at 90 degrees) at 100kmpl and the car will stick to road. Due to its size, sometimes it is stressful to drive in city, especially when surrounded by taxi's and rickshaws, as everyone knows their driving habit.

       

      Final Words It has been a year having few highway trips clocked only 5k. All in all a good car and sheer value for money. The only family car, which gives comfort to entire family for the price we pay. After driving i10, i think this car does not fall within a category of hatchback and has passed nearly half way towards sedan. Considering its size, you can say it falls extactly in middle of a hatchback and sedan.

       

      Areas of improvement Improvement in quality, and also to reduce few inches in size to make it more crisp.

      Exterior Very vibrant, good looking head lamps and nice looking tall tail lights, over all excellent sporty look

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very big cabin space, very easily accommodates 5 adults, good suspension ensures comfortable ride on even bad roads, excellent leg space but lacks in boot space.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Noisy engine, poor mileage, smooth gear shift, very good choice for long distance travelers. feels comfortable and secure at top speed on a highway. Air conditioning is average.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride and car handling is comfortable.

       

      Final Words As usual Tata cars are value for money but average in quality parts they use (especially plastic parts) and below average in mileage. Indica name attached to Vista is injustice to its brand value. Tata should have given a different brand name rather than Indica.

       

      Areas of improvement Must improve on mileage, quality of plastic parts and reduce engine noise.

      Exterior The exterior of the car features striking headlamps shaped somewhat like eyes.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Over the previous Indica this is a great improvement. Bright interiors make it feel big. Dash plastic quality is much better - Top end variant has only fabric seats. A good idea would be to go in for Art leather seats.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I could not even notice the car is started. becuase there is no noise inside the cabin and no vibrations at all. I feel like sitting in big sedans like Optra or Civic.

       

      Final Words Indica Vista Aura is certainly GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY . THE DRIVING COMFORT IS SIMILAR, IN SAME WAYS BETTER THAN THAT OF LARGER SEDANS SUCH AS THE CIVIC.

       

      Areas of improvement Gear leaver jurcky during change in speed. Lumber support is not of any use because after 3-4 times.

      Exterior Cool looking car from outside. front looks are of a huge car. side looks are little boring and rear looks are also good. Front and tail light cluster looks beautiful at night.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Huge interior space, very rich on features. got some special features which are not even advertised by tata like doors autoshut at speeds of 10 kmpl, theatre like dimming on off of cabin light on opening or closing the car, swipe of washer after cleaning has been done to remove the left over drops of water,if you start the wiper for quick wash and put the car in reverse gear the back glass wiper automaticlaly starts. only three services required in first year. biggest safety feature is the provision of bluetooth enabled  music system. Some of the features which are present on cheaper cars are not present like driver glass one touch operation. there are less cubby holes for storage. ac doesnt seem to be that effective in top delhi summer.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent engine performance, very silent, noise only audible when crossing speeds of 100 kmpl. Good feul economy though never tried to calculate exactly. very free revving engine, but definitely turbo lag is there. gear box is good smooth to handle. but not like maruti cars. or hyundais. no vibration even after 5000 kms.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality. It can give you bumps at low speeds but when at high speed it simply soaks up all bumps. Handling good only when driven with light paddle. though with abs you can get control of car but  negotiating turns at high speeds can scarify you, really. straght line speed is good and car is well  is well planted and with abs brake quality is also very confident.

       

      Final Words Good car overall for the family. for sedate driving.

       

      Areas of improvement plastic part,, better quality control from tata team.

       

      Engine, space, rich on features, more than average looks.Plastic parts.

      Exterior Front is big and good with well define lamps but that make them difficult park and drive in high traffic zone (most of the vista are get dented from front left bumper area), paint quality not so good. Back still Tata trademark with back door not overlapped (visible space). Weather strip really need a make over.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior are good and nicely design but the issue is with their fitting and tolerance, one can see clear space or overlap problem. Must say they have good music system with Bluetooth mobile connect technology. There is enough space and you will enjoy it with comfort. Still issue with mat fitting like weather strip, door handle can come out if pulled hardly. A/C is average; Steering is adjustable but hard as compared to electronic steering. Doors make sound while closing as compared their competitor. have child lock and centre locking.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good and powerful –fiat engine which give 18.5km/l after 3rd service , Most annoying is their gearbox as it make sound while changing (they have done something in version).

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Steering is hard so it difficult to cut  in road . Car seems to be under control in highway Upto 115 km/h speed, but once it touch 120 , u don’t feel confident.

       

      Final Words I have this car so can be biased but it have so many feature still need to work on the basic. Maintenance will be around 8k every service.

       

      Areas of improvement

       1) Tata dealers and their employee , if they really want to sell the car to all they need to work on customer service as they think every car is taxi. 

       

      Fule economy -18.5km/h in city .. excellent music system with blue-tooth( mobile conectivity) SpacePart tolarance & their fitting not at all gud with that price, gear sound and stearing

      Exterior Decent.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent space and reasonable features fit and finish can be improved.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good, fuel economy in city is 12 & on highway is 18 plus gear box needs slight improvement.

      Ride Quality & Handling It is o k

      Final Words Tata motars must replace a/c of all the cars sold or it will keep loosing market share and sales will go down for vista quadrajet .a/c of my car has been repaired 10 times, 80000/-worth different parts have been changed in my car but in last 8 months my car has remained in workshop for al least 45 days for repairing. I have driven indica V 2 without any trouble for 8 years but quadrajet is a hopeless car no 1 should buy this car till tata improves this

      Areas of improvement Cervice and quality of parts and attitude of sales/ service staff.

      excellent space & enginea/c is hopeless worse than maruti 800 cant drive in summer

      Exterior Smart look, taillamp too large, saloon look dynamic look, mirror, head lamp quite good, full packge car in 5.5 lac, want mirror indicator, good option for swift, i20, fabia, polo, Ford figo.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space for family, bluetooth5 is very excellent, tilting steering, seat adjustment,are quite good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Wow!!! what an engine, muscular power,smooth gear shift (eurotech),18kmpl fuel economy too good.diehard fan of 1.3QUDRA ENGINE.

      Ride Quality & Handling BUMPPY SUSPENSION,overall handling quite good,finishing to be improve.

      Final Words  Hi, This is my first car. I had decided to go for Diesel, as I will be going to my native >70km on weekends. I bought Indica Vista Quadrajet Aura . For budget users, they can go for Tdi version, which is also VFM car SURE GO FOR VISTA TDI & QUADRAJET. VISTA REFRESH ROCKING

      Exterior The front of my car with huge headlights justifies its name "Aura". It has an aerodynamic shape especially the inclination of the front glass is like a sedan. The rear side looks decent and does not delight as much except the high placement of break lights. Other things that I like is the ground clearance and the height of the car which ensures that we don't bang our heads while getting in.

      Overall from outside it looks very nice and complete.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Thats the place where u feel worth every penny you piad for it. Right from the dashboad to the rear parcel tray everthing is perfectly placed. At night with the lights on, the dashboad looks just awesome. Spacewise and comfortwise it is argubly the best hatchback. I am a big fan of Skoda Fabia but after purchasing this car, fabia has lost its position to No. 2 (thought exterior lookwise it is still no. 1).

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox All I can say about the engine is that it is silent. Inside the car you do not feel any vibration, noise except the tyre thud sound due to the bad road condition.

      Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. I call it a mini SUV.

      Final Words Go for it, especially the top version.

      Areas of improvement Could have more smaller pockets for keeping fe accesories like keys, wallet, coins etc.

      Huge headlights, cool dashboard, loads of features and plenty of spaceCould not find one.....

      I owe this(Safire65) vehicle since sept 2009. My experience says that the average maintenance cost of this car comes out to be Rs 0.50/Km. Mileage on Highway Max- 22Kmpl, Min: -15kmpl with half A/c.ride for both extremes. In city- Max-15.5kmpl Min-13kmpl with Half way A/c ride.

      Pros- Comfortable ride, spacious, make u feel driving a sedan, good grip on roads, FIRE engine.

      Cons:- These are major problems that I faced within 2 years.

      Car's all power windows console light goes off within 1& half year & one button comes out from power window's console, Rear wiper fails to work. Front wipers doesn't work on moderate speed. A gurrr Noise comes when it is in 3 or 4 th gear & it's speed is rising from 20 or 30 respectively. IT's Silencer droping some rusted liquid even when it is standing idle for more than 2-3 days.

      Remedies provided by TASC :

      1. For power windows console:- Since I brought to the notice of TASC after expiry of warranty(not covered in extended warranty) they told me that they will charge for the whole console(4 doors) that amounts to be Rs approx. 2k. However when I told them it is not working more than 3months before expiry date, on moral grounds they told me if there is minor defect and can be fixed without replacement then they will certainly do it otherwise I have to pay for the new console. So two door's power window's console lights are now working. TASC even fix one of the power window button that comes out while shutting of the window glass pane at no extra cost.

      2. Rear Wiper is not available so can't help it now.

      3. Front wipers were working afters the service even at moderate speed.

      4. For gurr's noise they said that it remain with indica as due to some technical reason but need not worry about it. Nothing harmful.

      5. Silencer is changed twice with no extra cost with a new one within warranty period.

      Low Maintenance cost, comfort, spacious, value for moneySome parts quality, fit & finish,

      Exterior Fine and good looking.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfort, very lage interior space, value for money and no bad looks.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good engine performance, 13/liter with AC at city, 16.5/liter with AC on highway. Not bad gear box as maruthi's.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very easy riding.

      Final Words A good car with great performance. Compare to petrole and disel expences are very similer. For 12000km/year petrol seaks 65000 rs while disel seaks 35000 rs. Disel cars seaks more on perchse, not less than 550000 rs + 15000 rs interest per year. 35000+15000= 50000 rs for 12000 kms. But for petrol 65000-15000= 50000 rs for 12000 kms. (for car price nearly 400000 rs- vista tera safire.) Think twise befor bying disel cars. disel car neads more maintainence than petrol cars.

      Areas of improvement Boot space, side mirrors and door closing sounds makes it feal it is not sedan.
