      Exterior Beautiful car ,i love the car in every angle ,paint quality and colors are very attractive more chrome finish improves the overall look of the car triple barrel head light works perfect @ night drive pros: panel gaps needs to be tighten further.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The most comfortable hatchback in india  so far, good for long trip, Lumbar support is there but not met the expected support ,overall plastic quality is improved but still not as good as European rivals,central instrument cluster my turn off most of the buyers. 2 din music system`s sound quality is ok but not the best , black and badge color suits the car well  especially in the spice red ,Over all interior look  is better than say swift, Liva and micra.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As every one knows the quadrajet(multijet or multi air ) engine from fiat is the fabulous one, amazing pickup up ,great @ highway, initial turbo lag is there but once after 1700 rpm turbo kicks in then the car will take off like a rocket. fuel economy is good 19 kmpl@ city and 23 kmpl @ highway, gearbox is smooth but not as smooth like swift.

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is extremely good ,soft-suspension setup observe most of the pot hole and give a smooth ride,  filtering very minimal jerk inside  the cabin while raiding on damaged or uneven roads ,suitable for  indian road condition ,in case of handling effortless or very easy driving in city ,but  the soft suspension  setup negatively reacts like a boat(rolling @ cornering )and power assisted rack steering is very lite @high speed.

      Final Words Overall vista is a comfortable highway crusier and easy to drive in bumper to bumper traffic.

      Areas of improvement Fit & finish and sound quality of 2 din music system needs to improve.

      Exterior Car comes with lot of crome, and indeed gives the rich feel, Fog Lamp, Wipers, Big Glass give the pleasnet feel that you are in car, but still have the look of the Indica.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Linked , Seat Adjustment which is vertical as well to and fro. this give you choice to make your self crouize for long drive as well alert for city and most of all combination of both with stearing adjustment.

      AC is power fool and make to chill in a minute even at 40 degree celcius outside. Rear seat leg room and head room make you comfertable even to carry your parents comfertably.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven the car for the first time. Indeed it's a good feel to realise the the power of machine. the moment clutch is released it releases the thrust and you can feel it is taking off even on the steep slope of 25 degrees that too with AC is on.

      FE: Still to drive

      GB: it is real smooth even it is hyaudralic. I hope with the services it will get more smooth.

      Ride Quality & Handling This car give the good control for smooth start as well nice overtake ability. Mirror adjustment gives you clear adjustment of the view but still Mirror opening could be automatic.

      Final Words The good car, with the Name of TATA and its service can expect the peace of mind

      Exterior Impressing design from the front, Looks from the back is not much attractive.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good features in this price range, Cannot find so much space in any other hatchback at any range. Dual tone interiors would have been avoided, light color becomes dirty very soon compared to black beautiful dash board.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good insulation to avoid outside noise. Smooth riding, Gear box would have been fine tuned lttle bit more. Fuel economy is yet to be tested.

      Ride Quality & Handling Length adjusting steering, if added, would have been feather to the features. Excellent for long rides. Smooth clutch for city ride.

      Final Words Its a value for money in this range, no doubt.

      Areas of improvement Dual tone interiors must be avoided, Add length adjusting steering as there is lot of space for a comfort seating adjustment. Remove the Indica brand, which gives more scope for this vehicle. Currently this vehicle is underestimated in the market, compared to other vehicles in this range. Tata should look for more advertising of this good vehicle.

      Exterior: Looks just like Tata Manza from front. Rear Viper is a great feature for a car within Rs. 600000 car especially in rainy season and foggy conditions. Headlight are well placed for better view of the highway road during night time especially where street lights are not available. Body color accesories gives astonishing looks compared to earlier versions of the car (Indica).

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): I own VX model and it gives me feeling of riding a sedan. Space required sideways for parking is more compared to other small cars available in the market which is understandably due to comfortable seating space for rear seat for 3. Seating comfort for long drive is incomparable in the small car segment. I have always been a fan of TATA Cars for seating comfort it gives to all the passengers which is not available in any competition car. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine performance has been outstanding so far I have driven more than 25000 KM till date. Its like a diesel rocket a small one though but cars pickup is great being a deisel car better than some of its peer petrol version. Stability is great and never shaking at higher speeds. Fuel Economy is city is around 17.5kmpl and around 20kmpl in city as well as highway combined (60:40 ratio). Gearbox has been astonishgly smooth compared to its predecessors. 1.3L Diesel engine has much better performance than 1.4L predecessors. New Maruti Swift & Fiat Punto are the other brands with same engine.

      Ride Quality & Handling: Stable with less or no vibration during high speeds. ABS in three of the four versions is a good safety feature which is found in only top ends of competition.

      Final Words: I am a healthy guy and I can drive comfortably with my 3 yrs old son sitting on my lap while driving. Of, course on an empty road.

      Areas of improvement: After Sales Service(ASS) is good with most of the Authorized Service Center but some older service center is bringing the ASS down. The feedback form is mostly filled by the services advisor and only asking customer to sign on the form. This is serious for a company which is expanding its base internationally. They do not have better facilities for customers in the waiting lounge. I lost all my coins I forgot to take before my first free servicing.

      Comfort (Driver & passenger), Fully loaded within the budget, Electronic Controls, 20 KMPL overallIssues in Power Windows & rear viper not functioning properly.

      Exterior

       Exterior looks of this car, depends on person to person.For me, its really great to hv a look at VX quadrajet. Wonderful chrome lining all around the car and door handles too. Rear pearl black part just below the rear glass looks awesome.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Interior not doubt is carrying INDICA platform of a big spacious car. Driving any indica will never let you feel comfortable in any other car of same segment with the space. I am 5.10, and I usually drive d car with my seat adjusted as backward as i can and believe me there's no big deal in seating on the rear seat even after this much of adjustment with front seat. Features are really very good. Bluetooth connectivity, electric ORV, steering mounted audio controls, small LEDs on all 4 power window switch to let u find it very easily even in nights, anti glare rear view mirror, rain sensing rear wiper, rear de-fogger.....very cometitive price with full of bag features.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Engine sound and feel is very much smooth if u compare it with its older sisters.Fuel economy is good enough to make u feel free for fuel price. I hv completed 15000 kms and I am getting a handsome economy of 20kmpl (with AC).Though the sales person claim the same to be 22kmpl.Bt my fight is ON with them to get it tht much if they are committing. Bt even then 20kmpl is also not bad if u compare it with swift of ritz which gives you 17~18kmpl with AC.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       This price tag, i guess, its the only car with ABS facility. Believe me its really amazing making sharp turns with a good speed ON. the car is having a grip over road which doesnt seem like slipping in any condition. Really great....!!!

      Final Words

       Great buy....!!!

      Areas of improvement  

       Bumper locking and other plastic parts locking can be improved a bit.

       

      Inernal space, Engine smoothness, Features (Sensor rear wiper,steering mounting cotrols, EORVMs)Gear lever is little jerky. INDICA name tag is little problem for some of us.

      Exterior Very nice exterior and sturdy. 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Vista is unbeatable when it comes to Space. No other car can boast of such a leg room, thigh support and the car can seat 3 people comfortably at the back. The noise level is also low even in deisel version.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I get 17 kmph in chennai city with 50% AC and about 23 in highways with 100% AC. The Gear box is good and engine's performance is great even with 5 people.

      Ride Quality & Handling The car takes a good amount of shock in bad roads. The steering is a bit hard compared when compared to the Swift. The clutch and brakes are comparable to the Swift though I felt during my test drive that Swift was a shade more smoother.

      Final Words I have had the Aura Deisel for 3 yrs now and done 25000 kms and I am greatly satified with the car. It is a good Value for money compared to the Swift since Aura comes with a lot of features.

      Areas of improvement The quality of plastics in the interior.

      The dealership service has been better than what I expected but not comparable to Maruti's experience ( I have a maruti car as well). I found that it is a myth to beleive that dealers do a better service and I've started servicing the car outside and find their a lot better than the dealer.

       Dear Freinds,

      I had purchased Indica in 1999 , those days also I found problem sturt, engine belt noise, excess wear of break pads, etc. But after complaint TATA launched improved suspension for which they took feedback after free replacements & launched as V2.

      Now I purchased Vista Terra TDI, which model is discontineued in Nov.2011 , But Tata motors sold me such failed model without saying that, this is discontinued. My last 11 Months experince is that, this model is failure due to exceess tyre wear as wel as suspension problem. I think the weight of front TDI engine mounted on so designed frame is problematic & because of that, the excess tyre wear & suspension problem arises at every 5000 km. It is shamefull to state that, the service poeple says, you will have do wheel allignment at every 5000km. Is it ok ? Their mannual says every 20000km, the wheel allignment is necessary.

      Why such manufactured vehicles which model production is discontinued should have not been scrapped instead of selling to customer & cheating to customer?

      Bad. Excess Tyre wear 90% within 18000km only ?GOOD OVERLOOK

      I Am Proud Owner Of TATA Vista VX & Writing this review after 7000 Kms.

      When I was in Market for Buying my 2nd Family Car i search many Hactbacks..But Vista Fullfiled my all Expectations. My main Priority was Spacious Seats.& immediately First name Came in mind THAT was TATA.  TATA is always Known For Spacious, Value for Money & Feature Rich Cars. When I drove Swift(its Cramped), Punto(looks Beautiful But Not Spacious & Flop).VW Polo(Expensive & No Features) Vista(Powerfull, Nice Height To Easy In -Go, Highway Crusing Ability, Feature Rich) Finally i choose Vista VX.

      Exterior Vista VX looks very Beautiful from outside. especially crome lining on Door & Crome Grill looks very stunning. Double Headlights are Very Powerfuull. Night Driving is Very Nice. Crome strip on fog Lamps Shows its Rich looks.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dual tone Dashboard looks very Nice. When you enter inside you feels like you are sitting in Big Car. Beige Interious gives Big sedan feel. Rear Seat is Very Comfortable. Really its Made For Healthy Indians. Rear Seat is Broad So aacomodate 3-4 Persons Easily.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is very Adequate.Vista Touches 100kmph easily in 3rd  gear. Pick up is very good. My Vista Easily Overtakes SUV on the Highway. I gets Fuel Economy Overall 19KM/L. Its good With AC On. On Highway I got 22+KMPL with AC on. Gear Box is Precise & easy To Shift.

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is Good.No Vibrations at High speeds.... never Feels Out Of Control above Speed of 150.

      Final Words True Indias Car. If you want Spacoius, Powerfull(D90),Feature Rich, Value for Money Family Car,Then you Dont Have Other Option@ this Price.

      Areas of improvement Tata Should advertise Vista Positively. Still When peoples hear Name-Indica They feel like its Taxi.so TATA Should Remove Indica Name & Use Only 'Vista'😄.  TATA Should Provide Cubbyholes On dashboard for Stuffs.

      Exterior

      Styling is very cleaverly done , its good and as well as it manages to liberate spce very well.I like the manza like front grill with the triple barrel headlamps.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      Speedometer could have been shifted behind the steering,otherwise it is well placed and it looks sophisticated.The audio is good to use and has good sound quality , the bluetooth connectivity is very useful.the controls on the streeing for audio and phone are very easy to use.

      Even 5 people can sit in good comfort without lapping each other's shoulder.Ride quality is good even on bad roads.It takes all bad roads very easily in its stride and high speeds the rear tend to bounce a little if sudden undultations are present on the road.Boot space is ok but not enough,it has to be improved.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Performance is really excellent and it does speeds even above 130kph very easily and will return 15-17kpl at those speeds.Overtaking is a breeze , it thrusts so easily at speeds above 100 while overataking even without changing gears.If driven carefully at speeds of 90-110kph it will give around 19-21kpl.Best mileage i got was 22 and odd.Gearbox can still be smoother in tis throw otherwise its good to use.It can be driven like an automatic in 3 or 4 th gear in city speeds.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Ride quality is so good that we wont know any shakea or bumps.we will feel only if it runs slowly over sharp bumps,i even never mind to put my car side of the roads in sand to overtake at traffic conditions in slow speeds.Handling is good but not so sharp at high speeds but only speed enthusiasts will mind about it . If you want to travel peacefully without involving to much in drving during long highway drives it is so good.At city speeds it is good to use but feels slightly on heavier side with constant feedback which is good as speed increases.

      Final Words

       Nice family hatchback which is proven compared to swift or the overpriced i20.Its comfortable and spacious than both of them and gives good fuel economy too,with equal performance to keep up with other bigger cars on highway.

      Areas of improvement  

      Boot space can be improved compared to the polo or i20 its small.

       

      Comfort,space at the rear,performance and fuel economyboot space could have been better.

      Exterior

      Good Exteriors, but need to pay extra 30,000 only for the sporty look bonnet come for front, back bumpers and sides of the vehicle. Good looking spoiler. For our road condition the front one will get damaged easily when it hit bumps. contrast black color roof top looks good. If you look the vehicle from the front it looks nice especially the head lights.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      spacious for 5 people to travel comfortably, driving posistion, front view, seat height are awesome. Boot space is little less. touch screen with GPS (BLAUPUNKT) music system head unit is good but not the speakers.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      90 BPH Fiat engine is superb and powerfull. Very good engine performance for speed driving. I got 19KM/Liter when I drive 80 to 90 KM speed with 2 people AND I got 12.5 KM/Liter when I drive above 120 KM speed with 5 people. Both are on high way.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Good, you can sense minor vibration if you keep you hand on the gear knob while driving other than that you will not hear any vibration or noise.

      Final Words

      Overall its a good car, good performance, stable at 150KM Speed, even  at 160 KM Speed the stability is not bad. ABS braking works perfect. you will have full control of the vehicle at high speeds. Worth buying the car for speed thrill driving not for mileage.

      Areas of improvement  

      They put 20watt speakers which is wrost, atleast they should have put 50watt speaker but the touch screen head unit (BLAUPUNKT) with GPS system is good one. Service quality needs to be improved, its a good car, only problem is bad service and price is little high. I paid 8.55 Lacks including accessories (Speakers, amplifier and horn worth 20,500 Rs, other accessorries like spoiler, parking sensor, seat cover, teflon coating worth 20,000 Rs) I did not put the sporty bonnet around the car which is costing around 30,000 RS.

       

      Car is stable at 150km speed and powerful braking system, good performance car.Less Boot Space, Bad Speakers, Tata service is not good, less resale value, mileage
