Exterior: its exterior look is awesome, its look from front nd sides its very beautiful. It has a strong body which any other car doesnt have. Products from maruthi are just shoe box type swift, rits, figo, toyota liva, fabia are waste when compared 2 vista.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interiors it has got dualtone interiors which maruthi didnt give 2 SWIFT,RITZ. Even fabia,figo, liva ,beat doevrolet doesnt have such interiors. Especially the controll panel in the middle has give it extrodinary look in the night nd in the day time.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I think vista doesnt have engine, i feel like that every time when ever i travel in the car its give feeling like we r travelling in petrol car.Other diesel car like SWIFT,RITZ,FABIA etc make sounds. its has an excellent gear box.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quaity is smooth nd handling is easy with ABS.
Final Words No wods 2 describ ethis car, if u dont get this car u have missed a lot . U will b missing a golde n chance.
Areas of improvement In BOOT space nd tail lamp shape should be changed.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Yes, here comes the problem ! Average wise poor performance even on highways with ac it is not giving spacified average.My car no. is gj 1 ke 2192, purchased from aspi motors, ahmedabad. after sales service is very good from this dealer but twice in running after 3000 km, I have to take help of emergency service of tata helpline. Once it fails on road and they found IC failure.On last sunday i.e.28th aug,2011, again we came out from fun republic with family-car was not getting start.After long struggle we contacted tata helpline, they came after 2 hrs. and found car not starting. They toying the car to yes motors, narol. Next day was holiday-janmashtmi- and today they will start to look into the problem.For both the time this car disturbed our programme and mood also and by auto rickshaw we return to home both the time without enjoying holidays. To day i am waiting for reply from dealer about problem of my car. For next time i have to think thousand times to purchase anew car!!!

Final Words Please improve this drawback and save our indian prestige car.I am proud of being indian and i love indian things.Please don't change my thoughts for india.
Areas of improvement Design point of view i found same problem for manza from my friend.I hope you will certainly look into the problem and solve it.

Final Words For a long time people looking for a youthful hatchback, have bought aTata vista. Even though its looks weren’t to everyone’s liking, it was still a standout design among its peers. And it was good to drive.
Lately, Customers are in fact buying it for its looks also. But, now there’s no yet another player for the above referred points, and it’s quite attractive too. It might carry a premium badge, but in terms of purchase price, it is surprisingly affordable. The pickup is awesome after 2000 rpm. U can feel the power of the engine. The seats are also comfortable, rear leg room is more. I have fitted windscreen films too which is a must for all the car owner and i strongly recommend. It's having 70% heat rejection with 100% UV protection and helps in cooling faster. I am using Turbojet and have already done3500 Kms. I am not driving more that 80 KM during the running in period as I know that this will help the engine to live longer and longer without rapid wear and tear. The color of my car is read and my car was teflon coated before moonson sets in. I am a happier man now with my loaded beautiful Tata vista which has become neighbours envy.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) AC IN THE BEGGINING VERY GUD BUT LATER GOT REDUCED BUT A GENUINE REPAIR IN THE WORK SHOP AND AC IS CHILLED AGAIN.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GUD ENGINE, EXCELLENT PICK UP LIGHTER TO DRIVE THAN THE OLDER INDICAS. EXCELLENT MILEAGE OF 15 /16 IN THE CITY AND 19 ON HIGHWAYS WITH AC ON.
Ride Quality & Handling HANDLING GUD AND RIDE QUALITY ALSO IMPROVED DRASTICALLY.
Final Words DEFINITELY A WINNER OF TATA AND A REAL VALUE FOR MONEY FOR PEOPLE ON BUDGET AND GOING FOR THE TOP END VERSION IS NOT ADVISABLE BECAUSE THEY GIVE AN INTEGRATED STEREO, ABS A KEYLESS ENTRY AND POWER WINDOWS THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.
Areas of improvement QUALITY IS A BIT LOW, And tata people sholud be more careful in the pre delievery inspection as the coolant cap of my car was given open and the entire coolant of the the car expelled out resulting in the heating up.

Exterior Looks are good overall, typical TATA style, headlights looks good, solid body.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is very good, three adults can perfectly sit at the back compared to any other car in this segment. More head room for passengers which I like the most, no crawling into car like other cars thanks to Vista's height. Mine is Aura model without ABS ( Think now they stopped this version), excellent leg room for driver and passengers. It has built in CD/FM player with not bad sound quality. Fog lights are useful when i drive in hill areas, rear wiper good. All four power windows fully sliding (No half sliding). Power steering is ok, but it gives small hiss sound when u turn the steering wheel fully (not sure if all vista has this problem).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fiat's world class diesel engine is very superb, turbo response is good especially when u overtake in highway. Engine is smooth if you drive at recommended speeds. I bought my Vista last Nov 1 2010 and its been a year now and i have driven around 16 k and the engine response is still the same when i drove it the first time😊 and I am getting 17- 18 in City and max 19 - 20 in Highway, so good mileage. Fiat Gearbox is also not bad and the gear shifts are smooth. Clutch is little harder.
Ride Quality & Handling I love riding cars, since Vista is my first car, I always ride safe with recommended speeds in Highway considering the fuel economy too. Ride quality and Handling is very good especially when five persons are there the car seems to be very stable in road which is requried when u travel at higher speeds.
Final Words Good VFM. One Basic question which we have before buying a car 1. How much it cost? 2. what is the mileage ? and finally 3. How MANY persons can go / sit comfortably ? some ask about engine, So I believe Vista answers all these three basic questions. Tata cars are reliable and maintenance less, they may not be eye catching like other cars but it is Designed for our road conditions, our comfort and safety which I believe the main crteria for any car. Just go for it . Live life like a Sedan !!!
Areas of improvement Wheel size can be increased , need to increase ground clearance a bit, front suspension gives some noise when u cross speed breaker. Nothing else to comment.

I am sharing My experiance with Tata Indica Vista QJ VX
I purchased a new Tata Indica Vista QJ VX (KL 33 C 4970) from ST antony’s motors Kottayam on October 2011 . Initially b I complaint about the irresponsible service and delivery from the dealer on the time of delivery and I came to know not only the Kottayam dealer but all most all are same. I completed my 1st service, but I have some issues because of which I have to visit the service station frequently. Following are my current compliments

Exterior AT A GLANCE U WILL DEFINATELY FALL IN LOVE THE HATCHBACK, BUT FROM REAR SOME MORE THINGS ARE THERE TO DO TO ENHANCE THE PRODUCT VALUE. OVERALL THE LOOKS ARE VERY ATTACTIVE AND CATCHY TOO. OWNERS PRIDE AND NEIGHBOURS ENVY.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I HAD TEST DRIVED AND GET SEATED IN FRONT AND REAR SEATS OF ALMOST ALL THE CARS. THE BEST WERE I20, FABIA, RITZ, SWIFT, FIGO, PUNTO BUT I PREFERED VISTA AMONG ALL OF THEM. IT PROVIDES A LOTS OF SPACE AND COMFORT. IN FABIA TOO ALL THE THINGS WERE THERE BUT I DOUBT ON THERE PRESENCE IN INDIAN MARKET IN COMING 4-5 YEARS, AS LOW VOLUMES ARE THERE ON ROAD.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox VISTA, SWIFT AND RITZ ALL GOT THE SAME FIAT ENGINE. BUT TO GET RITZ AND SWIFT I HAVE TOO WAIT FOR ATLEAST FOR SIX MONTHS FOR SWIFT AND ONE AND HALF MONTHS FOR RITZ. SO I PREFERED VISTA AS OF SAME ENGINE AND MILEAGE. IN CITY I M GETTING 17 KMPL IN DELHI. THE GEARBOX IS SMOOTH. I HAD DRIVEN IT FOR ALMOST 500 KMS ONLY AND I M FULLY SATISFIED WITH MY CHOICE.
Ride Quality & Handling VERY EASY AND RIDE QUALITY VERY SMOOTH AS MCPHERSUN STRUT ARE THERE IN FOR SMOOTHNESS ON POTHOLES AND POWER STEARING WITH TILT ADJUSTMENT FOR BETTER HANDLING. THE THING I FOUND IN SWIFT WAS THAT WHILE IN BACK GEAR I WAS NOT ABLE TO JUDGE THE VEHICLE BUT HERE IN VISTA ALL IS WELL.
Final Words IT VALUE FOR MONEY BUT ONLY PICTURE IN MIND IS OF TAXI IMAGE OF VEHICLE BASICALLY NAME INDICA IS IT POSSIBLE TO MARKET THE VEHICLE WITH ANOTHER BRAND NAME OR VISTA ONLY.

Exterior It looks great it got manza front,lot of chrome finish,,rear view is fine not bad for me..back and front got fog lamps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 1695mm width,ac,two options for 12v mobile charge on front and rear,,lots of ergonomics.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Quadrajet powerful engine easily reach on 140 km no silent frm inside any part of engine or cabin, 24 mileage, gearbox not as smooth I expected but average.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspensions r gud even or bad road or big potholes, handling imroved than previous model.
Final Words It is great car to buy for value for money lovers.sound systems, blue 5 Radial tyres with wheel cups,all power windows side mirror electricaly adjustable,better than swift vdi bcoz engine same its desingned changed boot is bigger than vdi, important thing its engine i have driven 2050 km not got any trouble yet.,.spacious share same width with swift ,,bigger legroom than vdi one day tata will rule in every part of india even in overseas,,,thanks tata motors for this imroved reliable low cost maintance car..cheers...vista wins over figo,swift vdi,toyota liva,fiat grande punto, ritz, polo.
Due to its reliable engine its not a cab car it is family car its value for money i did not spend extra money on sound system its a car loaded with tons of features..my no 7814053879 for any other query. I m proudly say that I driva tata vista.

Exterior Exterior scores well in Vista, Good and Solid Build quality (as usual wit Tata). Paintquality is good but there are a few inconsistent gaps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is acres of space in Vista which is found in cars 2 segments above, it can fit 5 well built adults in above average comfort. Features are ok, few more could have been added. There was no ABS and airbag options when I bought it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is definitely impeccable :) Good power and untiring engine even at high speeds. The gearbox a notchy and feels hesitant to change gears sometimes, gear shift is long and harder than in competant marutis. Gear ratios are very well chosen, first 3 gears are well suited for city, 4th and 5th long gears are for highways. Best torque deliery in lower gears,superb city driving. Highway driving s also good, with good torque in higher rpm.
Ride Quality & Handling It has very good ride quality but handling wise it feels low with marutis, slight body roll is noticeable, Suspension is just ok. Since Vista is Heavy (~1140kgs), one can feel that heaviness when any big pothole is encountered. (However the weight is better balanced than in Dzire which throws the back of the car uncontrolled when braked at high speeds due to uneven weight distribution. ) Cornering at high speeds s not confident inspiring as in marutis.
Cabin is very well insulated, engine and horn sounds are also insulated.
Final Words Vista is a good car with good fuel economy, VFM, good engine :) except for Service, fit/finish and resale.
Areas of improvement One has to struggle with tata ASS ( Service centres feel that they are some private/local centres who are no way related with the tata motors, Sales Dept is good ).
There are few areas tata has to improve. passanger cars should have the feel of softness unlike tata cars who are lagging behind others viz Maruti, Toyota, Hyundai etc., Thuds of the doors, sharp corners, suspension.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good leg oom for back seats, 6ft and above can also be accomodated very well on the back seats. great suspenstion.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box Smmoth like Butter, Fuel Economy is 17 in City and 21 on highway, engine response is good specialy after 2500 RPM the engine races like a killing machine.
Ride Quality & Handling Awasome Ride Quality , TATA has seriously worked on the Ride Quality and have improved it a lot it feels like in heaven inside the car.
Final Words Good value of money, Nice family CAR, Never think that you are buying a Taxi, as if you feel that you will not try it and i bet if you ride this you will not ride any diesal hatch back
