      Exceelent in style and smooth on highways. Inside car, Indica Vista offers a much improved experience to the driver. It is more spacious, and the Vista a bit wider and longer than the last-generation Tata Indica. Two-tone interiors, adjustable driver seat and smooth steering wheel, better door handles and a centrally mounted speedo are the most noticeable changes. The Tata Indica was already quite spacious, and now the wheelbase has increased by 70 mm and the car is longer by 130 mm.

      Exterior has been worked upon too. Apart from the overall solid and handsome looks well, the Indica Vista has indicators on Rear veiw mirrors, a roof mounted antenna and smart headlamps.

      One significant fact about the new Tata Indica Vista would be that it would feature engines from Tata’s partner company Fiat. The Fiat Multijet engine, which currently does duty in the diesel Suzuki Swift and the Fiat Palio will be offered in the Indica Vista as the Quadrajet engine.

      its a real good spacious car that supports a great fuel economy. the inbuilt car stereo gives add on features of the car, the small hydraulic gear lever gives a feel of sports car. the whole family with 2 more can be adjusted. The name of TATA leaves out any suspecion about the make and performance. The trustability of TATA sutains beyond limits, and long rives are comfortable even to stretch 800 KMs at an stretch..

      Overall its a real true value for money that leaves one with smile on face.!!

      Vista is a superior product from the stable of TATA's, who on one hand stands for mgf World's cheapest car and also manufacturers cars for the masses. Compared to Tata Indica, the new Vista is loaded with variety of new features, specially the refined 11.3 Multi jet proven Engine from Fiat.

      The newer looks makes the car more sporty and the changed intereiors provides fresh look to the Car.

      I want to advise Tata Motors to launch Indigo CS with changed Interiors and 1.3 Multijet Engine of Fiat, then this vehicle will be the best in the class and undoubtly the winner of the masses.

      The sturdy body of the Tata vehicles is most suited to Indian conditions and the engines fitted are proved maintenance free. Cost on recurring maintenance after running of almost more than 50,000 km is much less than the vehicles of similar range.

      The pik-up and the fuel economy of the Tata vehicle has saved my hard earnings.

      I am most satisfied with the Tata vehicle I own now as the break down cost even it happned in the remote area, got no delay repairing becouse of the engine design with which the road side mechnics are familior.

      The Vista looks absolutely smashing at first glance, not just because we’re used to seeing old Indicas everywhere we look, but the paint quality is much better, the panel gaps are smaller, and the car’s size lends it a little more character.

      i have taken the test drive

      i liked it very much, i also booked the car .

      and know  there will be though time for other car makers

      its the india s first superb car

      it will capture the heart of youth

      Good fuel economy, Good style, and all good, good ,goodit is used for taxi

      I was serching for Indica V2 turbo, when Vista was launched. Slowly I focused on each and every review and found that this is no regular Indica. Its completely new "CHANGES EVERY THING"

      I was initially interested in Vista TDi due to low cost. Had taken test drive of TDi and felt that the engin power/comfort and drivability was way ahead V2. However as I was researching more I observed that Quadrajet would be best VFM. Also a detailed comparison against Swift VDi resulted more marks to Vista.

      I was forced to stretch my budget to own Vista Quadrajet (as my mind was strongly voting for)  , which I will be owing in next 3-4 months. Again I visited to TATA motors show room to see Vista quad and fall in love with it. Had taken the  test drive of Quad and finally stampped on my decision. Vista is my dream Car.

      I would like to request TATA Motors to improve on 1) Plastic Quality/finish 2) Rubber beeding 3) Interior and exterior door handles quality. On focusing these issue TATA can improve this car rating to highest.

      Looks are good, Good fuel economy, Renowened MJD engine from Fiat. Great seating confort.Poor quality and finish of plastics/rubber. No ABS, Less boot space

      Hello all,

      The Tata Indica Vista was a pleasant surprise. After owning and getting rid of the older Indica in just a few months, I can easily say that I was impressed with the new generation Vista. The all new Fiat multi-jet deisel engine is marvelous. Ride comfort is satisfactory. Performance is, in my opinion, a tad below average. But however, no-one buys an Indica for performance, they buy it for VFM. In that category, it does superbly. A strong fuel economy and cheap service/spares ensures that I got a full wallet at the end of every month...

      So, to sum it up, if you want a "lambi race ka ghoda", the all new Tata Indica Vista would be a very strong contender.

      This car is very economicaly designed by TATA. The milege, interier space, comfort level at high speed in Vista Aura QJD made me happy.

      The value for money is excelent. Vista is looking very sexy in red colour. When i saw 1st i was simply love this car at her gala red attire.

      Very good going Tata. The Vista is a very good looking vehicle with International Standards. The engine is also superb. Indica has already proved itself in the Inidan Market. At present it may be the best looking car in the market with looks, space and performanace.

      I bought Indica Vista Saffire Aura in January 2009 and thought that I should give my opinion about the car. Exteriors & Interiors – Paint quality is excellent. There is vast improvement in interiors as compared to earlier versions of Indica. It is good looking and nice. Power windows switches are of pathetically poor quality and look like they are products of cottage industry. I wonder why? Music System – Going for factory fitted music system was a mistake. It is sufficient for those who never raise a volume beyond moderate levels and not much bothered about crispness of sound. Go for Aqua model instead and buy your own 2 DIN system. A/C – I found it satisfying. I have fitted V-Kool film and it has enhanced the A/C performance to a very satisfactory level. Comfort – The sitting space in a car is not dependent on outer size of the car. It is always dependent on wheel base of the vehicle. Anyone can check that the wheel base of Vista is maximum, in the category. Also Tata’s have reduced the boot size (I think so) to increase the leg space for the rear seat passengers. Roof is tall. It is the Best car in hatch category as far as space is concerned. Mileage – They claim average of 15.7 / Litre. I always top the tank and drive till the low fuel warning light is turned on. If I drive throughout in Mumbai traffic, I get an average of 8 to 9. If I make one of the trip to Pune on expressway it goes up to 13.5. Extremely low as compared to my expectations. I was expecting 12 in the city and 16 on highway. (I am a moderate speed driver 30-70 in city and 80-100 on highway) Pickup and Power – It doesn’t respond to pressing of accelerator. The pickup is low and if you abuse the car with rough usage it punishes you with average below 8. So you need to be careful enough to keep your RPMs below 2000 till you reach the fifth gear. It is not a powerful car. Pricing – It is the cheapest car in the category. Any car offering the same features is expensive atleast by 50,000. So VFM VFM VFM. Overall – If you are a family man past the adrenalin driven stage of life go for it. I heard that Quadrajet gives much better mileage per litre of diesel and is better on power but expensive than Saffire by 1,00,000. Kedar, Mumbai

      Exterior Sleek styling with pioneering petal shaped front side head lamps. Rearside tail lamps however have the classic styling of Indica V2 / Xeta. Need some differentiation here to make it more eye catching.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent comfort , quite spacious for a family of five adults . Excellent Blaupunkt 2DIN Music system . Overall Comfort leagues ahead of Swift / Polo / Figo /I10 / i20.

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Quite good . Fuel economy for Petrol engine about 15 Kmpl on highways & 12 kmpl in city. Engine immobiliser a good add-on feature ( Anti theft safety feature).

       

      Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. Best in Class. Ride quality far superior to Swift / Polo / Palio.

       

      Final Words Great improvemnt over earlier versions of Indica. Truly a great family car. On Service front though there is a considerable improvement, i feel it should be more customer friendly especially for Free Services during warranty.

       

      Areas of improvement Limited boot space . How about launching a INDIGO VISTA CS? More choice of colours be provided e,g  flourescent green , gold etc... Could do with a more customer friendly Dealer service. Currently the emphasis seems to be more on providing service at lightning speed due to which minor issues raised by customers get ignored. I personally feel speed of service  should not be given top priority rather addressing all issues however minor be given sufficient hearing. Speed of service should be given importance only for extreme case ( accidents / engine breakdown etc)...
