      I was owning a V2. The worst thing about this car is first 2 or 3 years, it will be like any normal car. After that it will start giving issues in queue. One by one. And the worst par is if you plan to sell it around that period, the resale value would be aroud 20% to 30% of your purchase value. Make a wise decision before investing, in case you are interested in selling this vehicle after couple of years. In that case Diesel has better takers - any cab company will change the colour to white and make it as a taxi. Petrol....I suffered a lot...in selling the vehicle. Petrol is not Tata's strong hold....! Be aware...!SturdyAlmost everything

      Exterior Very bad.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior safty is not good if your child is playing under car it is always risky becouse iron seat platform.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is very poor and fuel econmoy specially of petrol is very poor.

      Ride Quality & Handling It's like driving truck.

      Final Words  I fell to understand why TATA is spending money on advertisement first manufacture a ggod car and than advertise at least don't spoil TATA name.

      Areas of improvement Reduce weight current car is like truck so forget truck technology and concentrete on car technology like juguar.

      Remarks: If any body in TATA who is concern about TATA upcoming Car, please look into the TATA service very poor service and servicxe centre people are making only money they are not concern about services, I don;t know how tata is mananging it. Service is major area where tata must concentrate.

      Looks is very important facotor for any car purchaser, please work on car look TATA india and other products has been coming for long time without any modification and improvement in look

      being an Indian I am also using TATA car but I am sorry to say it's tata car only but product is like local manufacturing car.

      Hi Friends,

      I m Rajesh from Hyderabad. I bought Indica V2 Xeta in November-2008. Next year, I would be with Marithi Swift-Diesel. I hope this review may be helpful to the new buyers.

      Exterior I think Tata could be in another way of styling exterior with the same metal and cost. But why not it, a million rupees quesion. Sice nearly 15 years, the same styling, really we, Indians are great for our tolerance.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No doubt, plastics are of cheap quality.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is good. It rolled 16 thousonds km only in three years, as I'm more interested in Bike driving only in City. Car is mainly used in sundays with family and on out door journeys. Mileage is on highway-15 km/lit with 95% AC on, In Hyderabad 12 km/lit with 95% AC on. Gear box is not good. It is hard in first and second. Break is in not full function while in Reverse gear.(Informed to servicing people, but no change).

      Ride Quality & Handling It's OK. Some what better, I think, than Alto in view of space and driving comfort.

      Final Words I thougt of budget and security, while taking tata-xeta petrol in 2008. I think, tata people absolutely fulfilled the same.

      Areas of improvement The external styling should be improved.

      Driving comfort, Children movement space.Old styled body, Poor show room guys response, Poor service centers number.

      Indica Zeta GLG is good car...comparitivaly other small sigment car.. good speace internal area...affordable rates... good services...in any outlets...sturdy body...Acs cooling is also very nice...instant pickup...this car is good for daily services like short journey... good in rural area aswell...

      A 1200 cc car with AC & power steering spacious interior at less than Rs 3.50 lakh, is really a value for money machine. A much better than similarly priced Alto or Wagon R of Santro(basic version). I've bought it recently and has run about 1500 kms. The car has a good AC, powersteering and good pick up too. Fuel economy could be at a lower side, but mind well that the car is 1200 CC machine and not a 800 of 1000 cc machine!

      Exterior It looks well. Feels like a gentleman's car.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent space and confort for the price, and it gives you a feel of a big car. Sometimes 4 small size persons (or children) could be accommodated on the eear seat. You can transform the front seats into beds. the same can be done with the rear seats folding them for the room for luggage. What else one can expect more than this?

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The pick up is very good from the peppy 1.2 ltr engine. The engine is considerably smooth and silent. torque is very good. I drove my Xeta Gls on the old high which leads turough Khandala Ghat which is known for very steep and sharp turns. Absolutely there was no problem with the engine performance. This only incident proves the quality of the car.

      Ride Quality & Handling Considerably good.

      Final Words I suggest to all those who want buy Tata car... they cannot go wrong with this car.

      Areas of improvement Fit and finish, someplastics, It would be better if Tata engineers will imprive the BHPs of the car. In comparison with the Maruti Swift 86bhp this car seems to be a little bit weaker. Tata and build and Swift's K12 engine would be a great combination.

      Exterior Good looking i like the looks.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious comfertable seating position but small boot.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox For the last 4 yrs I use a xeta(my driving licence dates back to1981five yrs prior to maruthi800) InThe very first trip from the show room ended in work shop when I was on my way home I noticed "check engine" light on and rushed back to the delar after some tensed hours they released the car after changeing the sensor Before the 1st service (1000km)i felt some sound prob ly from front wheel bearing/tie rod end the kids at the service told me that was cleared but they not even touched it during 10000km service I understood that SERVICE means just a body wash to a tata dealer Next funnymoment was when the AC BELT WENT LOOSE the kids at tata delarship told me the AC CLUTCH has gone and it will cost 8000/ at my wits end I went back to my local mecanic in a minute, by the turn of aspaner he tightened it After 20000 km service one fine evening one of my front tyers blew off As my dear service kids never bothered to check the alignment I lost 2 tyers at 20000km as the tyers were worn in inner side it could be seen only when on ramp OFCOURSE I had no problem with engine or gear box thanks to my local garage man who helped me to change engine and differential oils regulerly THE FIRST CAR I DROVE WAS AN AUSTIN A40 when i was a kid My first car(in my teens )was aStandard Herald mark2 inspite of its floating axiles retain sweet memories next an 86 m800 bought for 75000/in 87 did a 100000km cool sold for 45000/then an omni 97 went round south india twice bought for 185000/done 98000km sold in2007for 89000/and the rest I told yu in the begining. FINDA GOOD LOCAL MECANIC A WHEEL ALIGNMENT SHOP AN AUTO ELECTRETION use it till the end of the world for even Tatas wont buy it back.

      Areas of improvement First and formost service ;fit and finish' REFINEMENT at least some one to buy a second hand.

       Inreriors , Space and comfort are the best for the price. You feel like you are driving a bigger car

       Pickp is good. Fuel it gives me auround 11+ kmpl in city conditions.

      Ride Quality & Handling

      I have this car for nearly 2 years, and i have drown it 18,000 KM till now.  Ride quality is very good.

       All and all , I feel i have made a good decision buying this car.

       Steering weel is little hard as compared to normal power stering

      Good Car. Value for money. Comfort in long journey also. Only unhappyness in Belt & Engine noise and AC sudden stop after 200KM continious running.

      Incase the small small problems can improve, it is the best car in this price tag.

      Also an good exchange price from TATA MOTORS is expected incase of buying a higher model car.

      We got our car 2 weeks ago. the car is doin very well. mileage is around 15 which i hope to improve after first service. the car is very spacious and acomodates 5 members comfortably. runs well. very stable at high speeds too. and driving is pleasure on highways. with petrol rates reachin nearly 60 rs i think diesel is a better option. but only prob is that the vehicle needs to keep running regularly for less maintainence cost.
      Good fuel economy,good stability,very spacious.Bad interiors
