      Drove this car ,almost for 50 to 60kms both in bumper to bumper traffic and out on the highway in the city the manual transmission was fine gets the job done some how the cluch didn't felt lively (lack of feel was there) may be because it was a test drive car,overall in the highway the cars feel very planted the streeing had a decent feel and the seat were upto to the mark ,the harman music system really adds upto to driving pleasure proving a good bass nd treble although in the segment i personally feel the hyundai i20 has a good sound and infotainment System,also the interior quality in unamachable of the hyundai, but you really compromise on safety with the i20. Pros 1. Planted Driving experience 2.Practical Storage (such as a hug glovebox) 3. Firm Built Quality (5 Star Gnap rated) 4. Comfortable for 4 and spacious 5. Decent fuel economy upto 17km on the highway under speed limits Cons 1. Lack of punch from the engine (petrol N.A) 2. Headlight throw isn't upto the mark especially when compared with glanza and baleno 3. Rear Camera quality and Infotainment System Quality not the best in the segment.

      I purchased an Altroz XE which got delivered after 4 months of waiting. I just drove it for 700 km's and here I will share my initial review including negatives. First of all, in my opinion, if your budget is strictly under 7 lakhs, Altroz XE Rhythm is the best option to go. Even comparing with XM variant, I would highly recommend XE Rhythm variant which literally has more features than XM variant. XE Rhythm has 4 speakers while XM has only 2. And Rhythm has foldable type keys but XM has normal keys only. You get the same infotainment system in both. XM gives rear power windows and power Orvm. And a parcel tray which you can buy for just 1500 Rs. from showroom. So spending additional 80000 Rs. for XM variant is waste of money, instead go for XE Rhythm and Altroz XE rhythm is definitely better than Tiago mid variant. First things first, the vehicle gives good comfort, the steering is smooth, efficient brakes, build quality is top notch and nothing more to say about safety. This vehicle is the safest car in the segment without doubt and the most stylish too. Even the base variant gives most of the safety features. In city traffic, I get above 15 km mileage. There is no point in listing only the positives, so I am not going more into the positives, lets discuss the negatives. I own a 10 year old Alto and I feel that vehicle gives more power in the 1st and 2nd gear compared to Altroz. Yes we get that feeling when we drive this Altroz. Yes it is underpowered, it lacks the oomph effect in the case of performance. Initially it was very disturbing and disappointing to see a 1200cc engine performing like this. Yes I literally felt my Alto is giving more power than Altroz in the first and second gear. But after driving for more time, i got adjusted to this vehicle. Rather than lack of power, the real issue is power delivery. This vehicle has enough power but to extract it, you need to drive in a suitable manner. First this is, when the vehicle is at rest, you don't need to apply acceleration in first gear, just release the clutch the vehicle will start moving even if it is a slope. And if we apply acceleration initially in the first gear, the vehicle starts vibrating, it is because the acceleration we are applying is not sufficient. Either we should not apply any acceleration or we should apply more acceleration for a smooth pickup. In my alto, a slight push in accelerator pedal gives sufficient power in 1st and 2nd gear. But in Altroz, we need to give more acceleration especially at low rpm to get sufficient pickup. If you drive keeping this point on mind, you won't feel the vehicle is underpowered. Yes it may not give the power of a 4 cylinder engine of Maruti Swift but the power is sufficient for a vehicle in this segment. Now I am adjusted with this driving pattern so no issues of lack of power or power lag. If the engine rpm is less, you should apply more acceleration to get sufficient pickup. This is the only negative i felt in this vehicle but now I am adjusted to this. So not an issue for me. If safety, build quality, stylish look and features are your first priority, Altroz is the best in the segment. Yes the engine is not a plus point for this vehicle. If performance is your priority, you can option for other vehicles but you will be compromising on safety or build quality or both.

      Regarding issues in the car ac problem silencer problem. and etc. please reading it and guide a way to get proper solution. It took around 3 weeks to delivery car. I have considered only the safety feature while buying. Please check with the dealers they may to charge you for unwanted stuffs and additional add-on's and transportation charge. According to Indian norms these charges are NA. Interior and exterior will be good. Please read my experience before buying. Riding. Its comfortable but its not that good you will experience the surrounding noise engine noise and silencer noise. Engine bay will creep you out you can able see the ground lots of holes gaps and even the some damping balls you can able to see. No filter for wiper water tank. Service center in Coimbatore are really worst and tafe is totally a crap. Actually i' m facing 3 problems i was reported to the customer care for the 1st time and got a response like your problem will be attested. But still car is in services nearly for 20days. I will tell you the problems now. 1. xz petrol Turn on the defogger button and Press the Ac vent changing button and keep on changing it at a point of time vent wont change it will get struck . like if you set it for front and leg ac on. It will turn on only the front AC. 2. silencer rattling noise. if you accelerate a bit you could able to evident this sound. my car produced my higher noise when compared with the same variant. 3. Harman infotainment touch response will be lagging while to connect with android car play. map will not update properly. its a 4 month old car only driven 2000kms. create these many problem. since not received any response from tafe service station and from OEM . dropped another email to OEM but no response. i would like to file a complaint. tata sells literally defected products no quality checks no assurance. nothing really frustrated with Tata.

      I must say perfect value for money car (xe rythm) it has excellent handling which gives you high confidence in highway driving and its suspension won't let you feel jerks best in class. A safe car saves you life all that we need it has decent mileage of 17 to 19 kmpl in the highway with AC and up to 14kmpl in city condition. I must say within 6.2lakh this is the best choice.

      Good experience with tata altroz xt variant. It's good corner stability control, as compared to other vehicles in this segment cars. It's stunning looks are very nice looking. It's not much maintenance expenses.

      Worst car , frequent failures, service team has no knowledge how to rectify it, not able to use car as it keep going service center every 20 days, very poor fit and finish, no service centers nearby.. towing car 150 km every time...

      Tata is great in providing safety and features are also premium. But the heart of the car is having problems ie. Engine....The Engine produces irritating noise which disturbs the fun on driving..In 2 years if you are not maintained the car well then the same story continues like indica...worst Engine noise

      Dont get cheated by tag Desi Loha and 5 star safety. You will regret your decision later. My dream went in vain for purchasing altroz. Feeling like my hard earned money wasted. Here are my bad experiences. 1. Engine refinement is bad and driving on 5th gear feels like im driving a lorry. Meant to say insulation is ultra bad. 2. Panel gaps and rusting most of the areas. 3. Service center cost and spare parts are costly. 4. Practical mileage is bad both on city and highway despite driving at lower rpms. 5. Rear seat thigh support is bad and not even comfortable for family and kids. 6. Service center is horrible in Hyderabad. Even i trolled Maruti at first. Later realised, only maruti knows indians pulse and practicality to design a good vehicle for indians. Brake pads costing 3000 for Brezza where as it costs 4500 for altroz in Tata despite designed in India. With this costs, I can confidently say, Tata can never surpass Maruti. Recently took a look at New swift in Maruti showroom. Felt more practical and exterior tough build compared to previous version. Only lacking is cheap plastic in interiors in Swift where lot better quality of plastic is used in Tata vehicles. Again saying.. Dont get cheated by 5-star safety and Desi Loha. If you need peaceful life and wanted to have less maintenance vehicle, go for Maruti. Tata should definitely think in terms of practicality. This is not a paid review. A frustated indian writing this painful review on his own country vehicle.

      When I buy this car then sales man response me super but the bad experience I faced when I went for first service after the first service even there did not wash the car properly also there made two marks on the front bumper of the car and even there ride the car around 100kms when the car was in showroom there have not even checked the wiper water level all those the water level is low also there charged me 400 of labor charge in first free service I don't know what kind of service is given to me by kropex dealer (singasandra) it's better to avoid this showroom for service.....
