- Capt.SHASHANK ZENDEExterior Superb looks. Deserves the name Superb. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Limousine like space for the rear passengers. Even the front seats are comfortable. Have loads of features, Navigation system should have been a standard function for the top end models. Lacks lumber support on the rear seat. Lacks bottle holder on the rear part of the car. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Refined Diesel Engine. Fuel economy in the city abt 10-11kpl and 16kpl on highways. This is my personel experience. Smooth DSG gearbox. excellent torque. The car just flies like a rocket when driven in Sports mode. Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride and Superb handling. Good Suspension. Very sturdy and stable at high speeds. Final Words Value for money, Anytime better than its competitors. Areas of improvement Skoda should make sure that they train their Sale and service representatives in a professional and skilled manner. 0 - FANTASTIC CAR...Exterior The exterior design is not to everybodies liking but ilove it. Also it is practical as the boot can be open as a hatch or a sedan. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Wow, This feels like a 40 lakh rs car. Every feature u need is there even paddleshifts! Space is at par with mercedes S class. Its that good. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 140 bh dosent seem much. But hey I am not complaining. Its enough on our roads.being a diesel it gives about 12-14lm/l and that is very good considering how big and heavy this car is. Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is above average and handling is awesome. This has a long wheelbase still it handles a corner SUPERBLY. Final Words Skoda has trumped its parent company VW and passat is a mere spec in the rear view mirror of superb. Areas of improvement Styling can be a bit more aggressive.and now the new passat comes with 170bhp version of the same engine.so skoda wouid do good to give us a 160-170bhp version of the diesel. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior room is huge and very spacous. there's plenty of room for 5 large adults. The sat nav is more complex than it needs to be taking 3-4 clicks to even set guidence to take you home (1 button on my old Signum) telephone system works very well. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is great but could do with a wider spread of torque. but then have gone from a V6 diesel to a 4 pot. The DSG box is great for 99% of the time. 2 areas where it struggles is when turning at a slow speed junction into an incline. The DSG tends to kick down to many gears when in D in sport its already a gear lower and seems better. Also when in D at low speeds it tends select a gear to high and labours a bit. Ride Quality & Handling With a long wheel base and compliant suspension the ride is great. the bump and rebound settings are equally good on motorways and poor B roads. Even with 18" rims with 40 profile tyres the ride is excellent. Final Words We picked up this car 2 years old with 7k on the clock for 18.5k. We looked at E250 and A6 and found them to be 10k for the same featured car. All in all a bargin. Areas of improvement Slightly better seats would help anybody in the 6'2" 16 stone department. Other than that after 3000 miles I don't have any issues yet. Probably the best car I've owned in 25 years of driving. a great car for family and workseat squab could be deeper and a little wider.रेटिंग मानदंड(5 में से)4
