Be prepared for hefty service cost once your car is out of warranty. I am facing issues in a row, like AC fault, ABS lights in console, fautly clutches etc. For every issue, dealer has no spare part in stock and i have to wait atlest 2 weeks to get the car back. AC fault is even appearing intermittently even after paying 50K for it alone. Paying them like 50K, 40K, 40K, 80K in a row is just a waste of money. Was planning to upgrade to Kodiaq and now I am looking to sell the current one to say good buy to skoda.
Resale value is anyway very poor. But its worse than expected when checked with market. None want to buy this brand, even for exchanging with new one. This is a general review about Skoda from my experience. Never again Skoda.
Service is scary - its a rip-off.
Cons: poor service and costly spare parts. No resale value.

I have no issues with the car, Its been 2 Weeks I purchased a new Skoda Rapid Ambition with GURUDEV Motors.
GURUDEV MOTORS is worst in after sales. They will literally call you a million times for the sale of the Car but will never followup with you after the sales
My new Skoda Rapid has a one year old tire. The tire was made 45th Week of 2016. While the car I purchased was on 2017 July. They were using the fancy marketing stuffs we will take care this is a huge process.
No one knows what to be done. All try to convince to save their ***.
Skoda Servie calculator was on maintanence and i asked the CRM to provide me the approx cost of the services so that I can take the Service Maintanence package. Even ater 2 weeks they are yet to give.
Now the maintanence package is reduced to 9999*/ for select corporates. I wanted to avail badly. But they outrightly rejected saying since you took the car on 27th july you are not eligile. This offer is only for August, where as nothing was mentioned in the advertisment they given that the car should be booked in August. Just for 1 working day earlier they outrightly rejected.
DO NOT GO FOR SKODA IF YOU GO WITH GURUDEV.
Nevertherless to say - you can read multiple reviews about Gurudev motors and their monopoly pricing and the worst service.

I Purchased skoda rapid style AT in Jan 2017. Unfortunately I had to sell it within 4 mths. I was fade up with the performance of the vehicle. It was under powered with lack of pick up, AT gear shift problems, Gears were not shifting till 4000 to 4500 rpm. usaually gear should shift in bet 2500 to 3000 rpm max. Tried to complain with dealer also to company but could not get satisfactory out come. Dealer accepted it as manufacturing fault in gear box and told it can not be rectified. On single highway it was nightmare to overtake any vehicle. Since gears were not shifting vehicle made a loud noise with no speed. Felt very unsafe. Few features promised at the time of purchase were never part of the vehicle. For example, skoda mobile remote which never worked for the vehicle. Reverse camera was never feature of the vehicle. Average claimed was 22 km by co. In fact it never crossed13 to 14 km even for highway running. The worst car I ever purchased. On top of it Skoda Maintenance is also high. So beware while purchasing Skoda cars.

I bought this car in Dec 2012 and finally sold today on 27th April 2018 with mileage of 178000/- km on through away price. I sold this car with heavy heart feelings as I know that this is the finest car in terms of pick-up & grip on any type of roads. I can describe this car as most beautiful car handled by worst people in India. Their service back-up is very poor. Very high maintenance cost is unique problem. I incurred average 85k/per year in last three years. Most common problems are related with engine mounting brackets, suspensions, oil leakages, air conditioning, Clutch plates. ERG Valves etc. Dealers are incurring income from heavy servicing charges due to poor sale in this segment. Spares are costly and not afordable. Availability of spares is also very poor. AC ducts borken in first year itself. Clutch plates worn out in second year.
I think car was not handled properly by SKODA marketing and service team.
I am not going with SKODA nightmare again.
