Rapid, Value for Money !!

All new 1 litre TSI engine with just 1100kg weight gives you enough punch with this price range. 110 hp & 175Nm from 1 litre is sufficient though you will rev the engine more to pump out every inch of hp from engine which result in poor fuel economy. You expect to get 12-15 km/l in city. Manual gearbox is smooth to shift though you need to shift down for overtakes if you are not in power band. Being Skoda, you expect a classic rigid built quality. Infotainment is borrowed from VW which is perfect considering the price range. You will expect a ride to be little bit hard. On 100% loading condition ( 4 passengers & some luggage ) GC will drop down to 110-120 mm which will struggle for potholes & rough roads. Overall Skoda Rapid is a perfect value for money.
