      The Skoda should have come in way cheaper to about 25 L on road. There is no sedan between 18-30 L apart from the Elantra. Skoda will lose out on sales and I am sure that if she was priced better people would choose it. The previous generation had the 1.5 TSI available. Now even it does not get a diesel option. Honda civic made a mistake by going for a CVT in petrol and manual diesel and we know how the sales of that turned out to be. Skoda needs to consider again their prices or atleast come up with more engine options. If Kia and Nissan come up with their respective sedan models the sedan market is for sure going to pick up provided the prices are reasonable

      This is an amazing sedan with top class riding experience. The Interiors are classy. Engine and driving experience is at par with big brands like BMW, Audi and Mercedes Build quality and features are top class. I am extremely happy with the purchase. If someone is looking for a premium sedan with budgets in mind then this is the best option. The look and feel, performance is at par with big brands. I drove around 2100 kms till now and i have absolutely no complaints. The mileage I got in the city is 10km/l and on highway it is around 16 km/l. With 4 year warranty and 4 year maintenance package, I am sure I have bought peace of mind for 4 years.

      The car, once you get behind the wheel, will leave you mesmerized. You will thoroughly enjoy every bit of the adrenaline rush. The problem arises once the adrenaline cools off and you start thinking from your mind rationally. The seats with the suede are dirt magnet, ground clearance is not adequate, Miss key features being offered in a Jeep Compass which takes care of all the shortcomings as well. On top of that, it is priced at a premium. Being a Skoda owner previously I will also have to keep in mind that the resale are not great and being a CKD unit cost of parts is high.

      I bought this instead of Virtus just because Virtus coasts 21 lac and this car coasts 5\6 lac more but it offers tons of features and performance driving experience is smooth because of 2.0 engine and dsg gear box servicing and maintenance is little bit higher side but its okay since its luxurious car

      Very good customer support and sales support from mahavir skoda . Pros Very good looking car . Superb interior . Impeccable build quality fun to drive. CONS : Little overpriced. Low mileage, little high service cost

      There was no option of my variant Diesel TDI 1968 cc 2014 Elegance model therefore I selected Petrol but here I clarify that I'm superbly happy to have purchased Octavia Elegance model of Skoda. The ability to connect my iPhone to this system is marvelous. What I loved most is the tuning capacity and quality of AM band of Radio in this system. I bet Rs 10000 to with any new Octavia, Mercedes Benz owner to tune farthest station like Panjim or Guntur from their AM band. The sensors of passing vehicles on road, humans walking near vehicle and sound system stopping and coming back to life when unsafe driving situation is over is wonderful as compared with camera systems in today's cars. I say it with confidence because humans are better at listening than seeing and it is far more safe to concentrate on driving looking ahead on road rather than moving eyes from front and looking on left side in camera view in system. The car driving data shows average and how many kms car will go. Boot space is largest in class. Rear seats fold. Hand rest can fold and there is access to boot area direct from rear seats. You can keep things and pick up things from boot. You can keep Cell charging lock car and go away and charging continues. This is the best facility when you are away from home. I avoid writing on technical things like pick up and Engine because anyone else writes on those aspects. Steering is like butterfly. I have driven Honda City but this larger than that car is easy to move, park and drive in crowded area. I am happy to own this car and she will stay with me till my end.
