Superb All Rounder

I purchased the Renault Triber with mixed feelings - I wanted a 7 seater for the occasional full family ride, an automatic was preferred as my daughter could also drive and finally I wanted this to be inexpensive as I believe any car purchased now will have low resale value given the slow but sure market shift towards electric. I read reviews about the Triber's otherwise good package marred by a mediocre engine (999 CC) and Renault's hit or miss service experience. After now living with the top end model, I am happy to share that the Triber has exceeded all my expectations. The car is super light to drive, the top end trim has many bells and whistles that are usually not present at this price range. Admittedly, Renault could have plonked a Turbo engine or a 1.2 L engine for a better experience but I am guessing that will up the price by another Lakh or so. The AMT is now really smooth and the change of gear rations is hardly noticeable (I am guessing improved software). Overall I think this car is a gem and should be a strong contender in the entry level MPV space.
