I loved this car right from the beginning of my test drive, it is one of the best compact cars in the market. Feature rich and good looking as well. I have had a great experience driving my pulse on long journey from Mumbai to delhi and it has good performance on the highways as there is no loag and pickup is good so overtaking is not an issue. The cabin space is enough to seat 5 people comfortably and due to a great suspension the bad roads are not an issue. Sincerely happy with this car, driving experience has been very good. The service from dealership was also satisfactory and specially they took follow up for servicing and maintenance of the car. My wife also frequently drives the pulse and enjoys it, the easiness with which the car can be driven in traffic and also can be parked without much effort helps her to take it to busy market places too.

Exterior Looks very good, though always called a copy of micra, this car is on its own in terms of looks. It has a very distinct feel which micra doesn't have. It is a complete boy car. The car couldn't have been better on the outside than it is now.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is adequate although I would have loved steering mounted controls and more options in the upholstery and a touch nav. They seem to have integrated that in the newer version launched this year. I am such it has much better interior than the old pulse.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It has a very good engine of 1400 cc and the power produced is enough for city commute. The gearbox is good with 5 gears. There is not turbo lag whatsoever and after 2000 rpm it drives very smoothly. Cabin noise is minimum post 100 kmhr.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is excellent, it is smooth and due to a good suspension even bad roads do not get in the way. Handling is good and easy.
Final Words I think it is one of the best hatchbacks in the market but did not get enough share in the market due to unknown reasons. One should take a test drive definitely before just ruling this car out. It has great value for money factor and newer models offer even more than the older one.

With the increase in number of options in hatchback and every year new cars entering the segment I was not very surprised when Renault resurrected the pulse early this year. I took a test of the pulse a week back and I am mulling buying it since I was pretty pleased with the car. the car has a good 1461 cc engine that generate 64 bhp power, not only is this engine silent but is also very responsive on the highway. The interiors have been improved and features like music system with USB and Bluetooth has been offered. The dealership was friendly and my test drive resulted in me really thinking about buying this amazing car. it is really a premium hatchback now after it has been relaunched with such great features. value for money car packed with features which will nt let u down and wnt gv any troubles.

Areas of improvement SERVICE.WITH KWID BREAKING ALL RECORDS RENAULT SHOULD THINK OF AN ALTERNATIVE FOR KHIVRAJ.KHIVRAJ HAS REALLY KILLED THE BRAND.DEADLY FELLOWS.THEIR WORK IS SHABBY & TAKE DAYS FOR A SMALL WORK THAT CAN BE DONE IN SAY 1 OR 2 HRS TIME.
LITTLE BIT OF PROMOTIONAL WORK CAN LIFT P\NOT ONLY PULSE ,BUT ALSO SCALA,FLUENCE & KOLEOS-ALLTHESE ARE GOOD GREAT CARS LIKE THE DUSTER. HOPE RENAULT LISTENS.THIS IS ESSENTIAL AS IT WILL FIGHT WITH THE MIGHTY GIANTS WHO ARE WAY WAY AHEAD OF RENAULT.SO APPOINT REALLY GOOD SERVICE PROVIDERS.

I couldn’t think of another car after I took a short drive in my friend’s Pulse. I was totally impressed with the way it handled itself on and off road. it was a great experience so the following week I took a test drive of the Pulse at the dealership and I booked it a couple of days after that. I am not waiting for my delivery which will happen in coming week, hopefully. I have customized it a bit so the accessories will come in from somewhere. I am really happy to have bought pulse because not only is it a wholesome package full of features like climate control, a beautiful interior and a silent cabin, a big boot space, music system, Bluetooth, steering mounted controls, automatic headlamps, a trip meter on board, very comfortable driving seat with height adjustment and not to mention the smart locking system and push start. Awesome car from Renault. Worth every penny.

It is a amazing hatchback car in its budget, looks styling, front grille is amazing, nice pickup, attractive interior, full of features, low maintaince,ample space, feels power of 1500cc at overtaking, milege is about 23, it is better than Swift, i20, Baleno, Polo, Liva, Jazz in terms of performance, I am writing this review after driven 1 lakh km.

Pulse is the best car to buy if you are looking for a budget hatchback with optimum features. the best features of pulse are:
1. engine- engine is very powerful with 63 bhp power, no turbo lag, fuel efficiency (18-21 kmpl). It will not get tired even at high speed, no rumbling or any lag.
2. cabin- cabin is very spacious and has been remade tastefully, much better than the old pulse. the fabric upholstery is decent.
3. looks- pulse looks really hot on the road, no matter where you take it. it looks a bit like micra tail side but looks much better than it from the front. it has a very powerful road presence.
4. maintenance- pulse is very low maintenance car, it will not give you any problems if maintained and serviced properly.
5. after sales- after sales could improve a bit but they do not give you a headache so nothing extreme about service.
6. features- new pulse has ABS, EBD, Brake assist, electrically adjustable orvms, climate and air control, bluetooth, usb conenctivity to name a few.
Best buy in the price range.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are very good than Swift.Offers very good saftey Features like airbags and ABS.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very nice engine with a rev Band of 4000RPM. We can able to find the essence of the each of the gear.When we want toovertake a vechicle in slow traffic just shift down a gear and it just serves the power instantly.The good point is there is not turbo lag at any point of the situation.For me it gives a over all Fuel Economy of 20.8KMPL in both city and Highway.I have driven it for 92000 km.It is as good as the Day I brought it from the showroom.The gearbox is very smooth and slik.It has a wide range of Torque .
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is very good. It has a great suspension system with gives you the sound of the suspension working but will not get the jurks to you.The car Handling is very nice.It take sharp curves very easily and responce from the steering wheel is a plus point for this car.
