      First of all, I thank carwale for maintaining such a great library of car info. I am thankful as I bought Lodgy purely based on reviews and information provided on this site. Coming to Lodgy, I sold my swift and bought lodgy mainly becoz it appealed to me as the right car for my big family. But irrespective of size Lodgy comes in an astounding design. Inside you'll experience space which is enormous. My family loves the long trips in lodgy and remains eager for the next trip. As far as driving is concerned it's a smooth car to drive. No lags at all, the dCi engine never fails to amaze. The steering control feels light and smooth. Inside the car has a touchscreen display that works nice and there is GPS navigation system. The music system is ok. Talking about fuel economy its mileage is up to 19 kmpl. I was looking to buy the metal grey colored but unfortunately, I bought the silvery grey due to unavailability, but it's ok as my family liked the silvery grey very much!

      I purchased lodgy rxl previous year on dewali. My buying experience was very bad because on the date of delivery the dealership were unable to complete my car with the accessories which we wanted and after few months of Delivery there was a sound came from the suspension which till now itself is not resolved by the service center. Each and every time when we took the car from the breaker the noise came everytime. Looks and okay but not up to the mark. Service experience is also very terrible. It roughly cost 7000/- per service I don't know what they do with it ..... The black parts which are installed in it are loosing there colour , the quality of colour is so poor . Also its build quality is so bad , with a simple touch the bemper bends very easily. The tyers also are very poor . My car has completed 20000km and the condition of tyers are at the end in only 20k K.M . My request to you all please never buy any Renault car it's just waste of money because the reason is that it's resale value , when we went to evaluate my car after one year they gives us the value of only rs 4lakh and I purchased it for Rs 11lakh can you imagine the difference of 7lakh within one year it's so poor. That's why I am insisting you all please never buy any Renault car.

      its misunderstood: the performance is better than I had wagered for after 28500 kms. The car has only been serviced thrice. It performs well on any gradient be it steep or on uneven roads. I am surprised by its performance. When I bought the 110 RXL I was afraid that I had bought a wrong car because there weren't many around and the most people commented - "Oh God! why a Lodgy." Today, I think i made the right choice. I have been driving for 40 years and I find this car has a long wheel base which makes it sturdy and only a novice with a lot of effort will topple it - it dose not leave the road at 140kms/hr - I haven't driven any car before this at that speed before though the rims are 15" not 16". It tackles pot holes with ease and till date the bottom has not scraped inspite of huge bumps and bad roads. Don't expect it to clear the ground like my erstwhile Xylo but while the Xylo bucked on bad roads this Lodgy does not. I( have only serviced it thrice and till now no other money has been spent. The interiors are spartan but balancing the cost worthwhile. Its value for money. Don't be disappointed by its sluggish take off, it performs,if you are not interested in racing and on highways - with the turbo chipping in at 70 - you surprise by showing a clean pair of heels at the well known models. There have been very few to overtake me on highways.

      It was the first in entire south India, we were first to get it delivered in the year 2015, and it has a phenomenal pick up and the only thing it has a bit lesser ground clearence.

      I have a issue of gear.at time when shifting gear from 1- 2 gear I have to apply More pressure.n sometimes at a long ride if u r climbing hill d whole engine vibrate.need explaination.

      I am having lodgy110ps world edition Riding in lodgy is nice, as like driving a small car. It's space for sitting in third row also good(not bad). I haven't watch the mailege, but I think so it will not give above 15 r 16+. And the main thing is luggage. If we have more luggage and 5 people to travel, we surely want to release the third row seat away. But in innova we can fold the third row seat for more space. And it's the easy way, Renault wants to consider it mainly. It's easy and practical for folding only not to taking out completely.

      Exterior

       A bit boxy but acceptable for a MUV this large. Since it is a 7 seater it will look elongated and boxy towards the tail but it does not look bad and double chrome fittings in the front look good. It has a good presence on the road if we consider the design.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       The upholstery is upclass but the interior could have been better. Renault has made efforts for the interior to look better compared to their other cars. There is lots of space and the rear seats can be adjusted to accomodate luggage.There are snack trays on the seats starting from second row. Driver seat is comfortably but could have used more arrangement options. Mirror adjustment and power window keys are near to the driver. Cabin silence is the best feature, thanks to good insulation.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Engine performs better on the highways. It revs up when you push the accelerator and doesnt complain much. With 6 gears it is a comfortable ride. Fuel efficiency is good.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Ride quality and handling is at par and sometimes even better than Duster. The ride is smooth and the cabin does not vibrate even after 120 kmpl. 

      Final Words

       Best buy for people with large families or those who are transferred frequently or travel a lot in groups.

      Areas of improvement  

       Interior and tail look could be improved.

      Exterior In terms of exterior lodgy is definitely better than innova and ertiga because it looks decent and does seem to be too intimidating. It has good looks and is well cut to accomodate all the space. The height and lenth are appropriate to suit the purpose of moving or travelling in a group.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine does not let you complain in the 85 ps model and in the traffic you dont have to work too hard. It is fuel efficient with 6 gears. The pickup is good and the driving and handling are comfortable even for such a big car.

      Ride Quality & Handling The ride is smoth and enough insulation has been provided in the cabin so it remains silent even at top speed. There is no problem with handling it on turns or in traffic and the suspension is good for long distance journeys. The rear seat passengers do not feel disturbed even at high speed.

      Final Words This is a cost effective MPV with a lot of space and features like adjustable rear seats, reverse cam, a good ac, enough seating space for 7-8 depending on your model. I would say it is good deal any day to buy an MPV which offers everything an MPV is meant to have.

      Areas of improvement The interiors could be better but they are not that bad. The driver seat could have more adjustments.
