Big Car at Budget Price

Exterior

 There is no second thoughts about how good the exterior looks. But one needs to spend atlesy 10-20K if all optional accessories are opted for.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior is fine for the given price. But there are some obvious missing accessories/features such as Support Handle for front Passengers (handle nornally located above the front door for front seat passenger to provide support when the car is negotiating curves), Speed sensing Door Locks, Door open Audio warning etc.

Power Windows switch  location is slightly inconvenient as you have to take your eyesight off the Door window before you access the switch. But this is one of the cost saving measures.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 This is a major disappointment as Engine is very noisy. I have been driving this car for the past one month clocking only 260 km. But I have filled in 20L of petrol till date. Econoly is nowhere near the claim of 25km/L.  I hope the Mileage improves after first service.

Engine is grossly underpowered if you want to take 4+ passengers. But one can not expect 800cc Engine to provide anymore than that. Gear box is not smooth. May be thats how it is in economy small cars.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality is good if there are no too many passengers. Fot two persons (Driver+passenger) + small kids, the car is just fun. Haven't tried it on Highways. Very confortable for city drining.

Final Words

 1) For First time car buyers/drivers its a great bargain.

2) For those who have driven slightly premium cars such as Swift, Jazz etc. you have to learn to accept the underpowered engine and missing features.

Just go for it.  RXT (opt). is the best best bargain. At this price you get Top end Audio system with Navigation, Air Bag, Fog Lamps, Power Windows etc. Add 10K for accessories. Y

Areas of improvement 

1) Engine Noise should be reduced .

 2) To integrate Rear Parking Sensor with the Infotainment system so that Video view is available.

3) Future Models should offer 1000cc Engine with a smooth Gear Box/ Auto Gear.

4) Basic safety features such as Speed sensing Door locks, Audio warning for 'Door Open', Rear wiper etc.

5) Top end to include Steering mointed Audio control, Roof Rails,

 

Great Looks, Good Ground Clearance, Space, FeaturesNoisy Engine, Not so smooth Gearbox, No premoum features at Top end.
