Exterior SUV kind of looks with good ground clearance of 180mm, which is very much required for Indian roads.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Interiors are very cheap with low plastic quality, RXT being 4.44L on road could have been much better at that cost.
Infotainment is a good move but the system installed has a lag of 2 to 5 secs. No space to keep a 1 ltr bottel inside the cabin :|
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enigne at the start has too much noise and vibration like a disel car, Pick up is good enough with out AC. If AC is switched on the power decreases drastically and car does not take the weight.
Fuel Economy what renault promised is all fake 25 Km/L is just on papaers and we do not even get half of it. I am getting 9 Kms/L in city which is same as i20 or any other premium hatch backs. Think before you buy is all what I can suggest. I have already lost my money. :(
Ride Quality & Handling Being a small hatchback its very handy and easy for city drives. Quality of drive is also good enough.
Final Words If you are looking for Mileage then this is not the car. Its not worth a buy. If looks are your concern then you can give a try. Renault Kwid a failuer.

very disappointed to inform you some serious issued that I face with my RENAULT KWID (RXT) that I booked in 26 Oct. 2015 and the dealer delivered the car (KWID RXT)White Colour in 11 January 2016 from “ARUNA MOTORS PVT. LTD, VIJAYWADA (ANDHRA PRADESH). But I am very sorry to say that within Two mounts itself the Vehicle is having lots of complaint. That I am mention here for your kind acknowledgement and I hope that you will take necessary action to recall the vehicles for solve the problems with REANULT KWID (RXT)model 12/2015.
1. The main Problem that I Face (2 time (1st on date 26/03/2016 and next within few days later 21/04/2016) , that is Starting Problem , First I occur in Dated (26-03-2016) I call to the dealer about it and they reply to call customer care for Road Side Assistance then I call to your R.S.A with COMPLAINT REFERENCE(RENAULT 30592) about this matter they sent there service on 12:30 Pm night time to Toeing the vehicles in Service station . Next day The Dealer said that it is “Battery Problem” and we will recharge it (not Replaced) and make me assured that the Starting Problem will never happened again ,even I asked to replace it but they refused ( FAKE SERVICE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE DEALER OR SERVICE PROVIDER i.e battery recharge only) then It is again happened (DATE 21/04/2016) within few days later when I was in a remote area during night time around (09:00 PM ) with my Kids, suddenly during running condition it stop ignition (staring problem) and problem occur, it was very pathetic situation with me (what to do) I try to call the Dealer or service engineers those who attend my vehicles on dated (28/03/2016) when the starting problem occurred on dated (26/03/2016)Reference number RENAULT 5799) . It is clearly showed the dealers are not serious about customers.
2. The Glove Box in the Car was having problem with looking system within two months after delivery of the vehicles that I put in the notice to the dealers during first service of my car (KWID). The copy enclosed with the first service details by the dealers.
3.The clutch is generated sound, and not only this was I surprised to hear multiple sound while applying the brakes. It could hear clearly. I already inform to the Dealer r service persons during the time of first service of my Car but they did not take it serious and still It could hear clearly.
4.Some time I feel that the Braking also having some

Hello friends, I bought my Renault Kwid 2 months back on Nov 14th. Gone for two long rides of 400 kms each. The comfort during long drive was appreciable. The Steering seems more stable at higher speeds of 120kmph. The mileage was not up to the mark. I am getting around 15kms in city and around 17 on Highways. Expecting the better mileage after first service. No need to explain about exteriors, interiors as many of u were aware about them. But I will tell you few points. The Navigation system is suitable for cities but not at all use full for rural India. The touch was little bit laggy, The call clarity over BT was awesome but the music player over BT is lagging severely. We can find Minute vibrations of Gear Rod. The ground clearance claims to be 180 but even the Indian speed breakers breaks the bottom of the car instead of speed. I hope it might be some designing error. There was some minute errors in designing. If you close the front door when the back door is completely opened it will leave some minute rashes on the back door bottom. The accessories provided by Renault were not up to mark. The bad thing is the dealer is making it mandatory to have a 9 accessories list which costs around 13500. The dealer claimed around 5000 for extended warranty for which there was no intimation from Renault as indicated by the dealer. As many people said, the Engine was noisy.

Exterior Very good exterior design. Ground clearnace is also quite enough to cope up with the Indian roads,space for laugauge is also quite enough.
Shape from front side is beuitiful.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In the front side it looks little less spacious but in rare side space and roof height is enough.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and 800cc looks little lower side considering the current power requirement.But I am sure about the Renault engine it will definetly efficient engine.
Ride Quality & Handling I have reuested for test ride but it is not yet available in my city( Kilhapur) Waiting for the test ride and after that I will book one for me immediately.
Final Words Good move by Renault to meet the Customer demand in small car segement,This would ne really "value for money".Definetely it will be bset selling car in India.
Areas of improvement Engine could have been 1000cc for some variants considering current requirement of power.

Spare parts counter sales not available indealers.Even for Duster spare parts is not available. I am concerned because Duster is SUV bought by elite people who can service there vehicle at service centers regularly and can change the kit instead of a spare also the other interesting news is Maruthi Suzuki S cross tops in sale than Duster because Maruthi's spares are available everywhere. Duster have much better look good vehicle but as soon as S cross launched it tops the table.
However saying about Kwid ts a entry level car bought by common poor people who dreams long time for a car and risks their savings who want the cheapest maintenance after warranty period (4years). I am not saying we need it in a open market just in your authorized dealers may be only for Kwid may be by ordering, there should be a option for buying the smallest, each and every spares.
Because dealers mostly not interested people welfare rather in more profit more they change the spares more they get money, for a small spare they change the kit easily they say we don't get that spare separately even though they get it. 20% less maintenance doesn't make the life long benefit,these things can worry common poor people at that point they will regret buying Renault for me.

Hi Viewers/Kwid Fans/Car freaks/First Car buyers.
Its been 7 days, 400KM I have been experiencing this beauty. This is my first four wheeler and really happy with it so far. I thought of sharing my overall experience right from the beginning till finalizing the vehicle, as this information would help the viewers who are very keen and interested to buy this vehicle and eagerly waiting for the user experience/reviews before taking a finally call. Im pretty sure this reviews will definitely be helpful..
In all the reviews this Vehicle is being compared with Alto, Eon etc..but in terms of exterior appearance and looks Alto ,Eon will not be a comparison at all. Kwid Looks very elegant, bold and very big in size this is very much in par with Santro,i10, Beat, Celerio etc.
Steering is very smooth and pleasure to drive. A/C is also pretty good.
Digital Instrument cluster with Speedo Meter, Gear Change indication, Trip Meter, Total Fuel Burnt, Distance to empty ,Average Mileage indications etc
Real Value for Money. I have gone for RXT Model. single paise which I have spent towards it is worth enough…it is preloaded with everything which are really required in a car in today’s life.. 7” Touch screen system with FM/USB/AUX/Navigation/Bluetooth paring & Calling etc. all these features in very much affordable price.
Massive boot space and ok sort of cabin space.
Power is not so great but can be manageable.
Currently im getting 13 KM/L as per the Digital Instrument cluster in city condition with A/C ON. Ill post you the Mileage once im done with my 1st and 2nd Service.

Dealer Experience I have booked my vehicle in “SRI SRI SRI Renault Jubli Hills, Hyderabad I have been interacting with Mr.Ranjith ( Sale Executive) and sometimes with SaiKiran (TL) from the Day one of the booking till the delivery of my Vehicle. I am really happy with my experience with them especially Ranjith. Each and every query of mine was addressed very politely and in a professional manner. I used to call Ranjith very frequently and used to bother him asking for the updates from my booking day till the delivery of my vehicle .never my call was ignored, at time even he was busy he used to give me a call back such great support I got from them. I am really delighted with the service and support.
After Sale Dealer Service Center Experience I have reached the Service Center on fourth day of my purchase for two issues..As soon I called to the service center Mr.Ratnakar (Service Manager) have patiently listened to my problems and arranged for an immediate Pickup of my vehicle for rectifying it. Though these issues are pretty minor but it was taken on priority without any ignorance
Conclusion Friends in one word I can say it is a wonderful vehicle .IF you are looking for a four wheeler in Class-A or Class-B segments with a very stringent budget you can blindly go for it.For a four wheeler what matters a lot is the Maintaince and after sale support. If we get such a great response & Service which I have got from SRI SRI SRI that’s more than enough you can happily enjoy without any troubles.

Exterior 10/10.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The dashboard is a full pack of feautures. The speedometer looks sporty and decent enough as per the price tag. Space is just not an issue to think about, well managed and totally comfortable. Even for the 6 FTers !
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Well, the engine noise is VERY irriating. Initial gears are too noisey when accelerated but settles down during higher speeds. Also, the mileage i'm getting since 3 weeks now is just 15-16 Kmpl in the city and i don't know why. I've not even been upon 70km/hr but still this is now really getting me nightmares. Hopefully it will improve after the first service.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is soooo good. Really!
Final Words I'm very very happy with this car in such a budget, it definitely turn heads wherever i go. Though the noise issues need to be fixed as soon as possible as it gives a really cheap feel. Plus i'm not getting the mileage as promised by the company, Hope that is fixed soon.

As per our conversation some minutes ago concerning with the replacement of the components of the vehicle KWID, in this connection, I would like to inform you that the components demand raised by the Co tech aren’t serviceable, henceforth; the entire engine assembly has to be replaced according to the technical norms of the Renault Company. As the matter of fact, I have already forwarded you the message from the parts department of Renault in turn to have the clarification on this matter.
We suggest you to have the replacement process of engine assembly executed on priority basis in order to have the experience of hassle free service from our Renault Service Centre.

Kwid engine seize. Purchased Kwid top model DL8CAN5700 .8 month back, my car total runing 3000 km.while driving on main road the plastic Oil Chamber got leakage due to which engine got seize.
The showroom is asking to pay INR 90,000 for repair the brand new car which is not acceptable.
The local dealer is very uncooperative, it is really bad experience. Renault should not use such a cheap material for Oil Chamber.
Kindly resolve the issue.

I purchased a Kwid RXT on 4th March 2016 from Bhubaneswar dealership.
On 19th april when i was driving, just after driving 4-5 km the coolant alarm displayed and with in a minute smoke started coming out of the bonnet , the air from the AC also started smelling . I parked the car on road side and registered the complaint with road side assistance at 7:40 PM with the complaint no.56767. They assistance team came at 11:30 pm.
This is not the only issue that i am facing with this car, there is problem with Bluetooth connectivity ,there is issue with the paint (Colour is coming out of the body automatically near the front head lamp.)
After checking the car the dealer replaced the faluty cooling Fan.
I am worried about my car, if such issues are coming even before 1st servicing then there must be some manufacturing defect with this piece. Just replacing the fan is not a solution to such issue, its a safety issue.
To reduce the price the manufacturer has compromised a lot with the quality and safety. There is no door open alarm, there is no seat belt alarm.
If anyone is planning to buy a car then just say no to kwid.

RRENAULT KWID CAR COMPLAINT AND DISASTER.
Gen-Next, Motors, Kopairkhairne, Navi Mumbai is the place where the car is at present.
I faced a similar problem car engine got seizes when mud guard got damaged and workshop is asking first 102,970/- not giving insurance then now when i want car back it asks for parking charges of 35,700/-
The car is picked up by Renault Road assistance on breakdown. I said take parking charges and give back car then workshop manager says pay 70000/- and get engine replaced and says cost of repair and Renault kwid is same 70,000/-
The car was hold back for five months for repair discussing insurance and other things.I got to know real repair cost is 15,000/- but they are replacing engine for 76000/- to 102.970/- and discouraging repairs. Not giving back car and forcing to change engine also.
Now another person some manager at Renault main dealership, Nashik met today on 07-03-3017 and said he has received President award and serving at renault and retired from government service. He said nothing can be done there is perfect setting everywhere and if you try to approach for help at Renault no one will help you. If you complain at consumer court it will take years and parking charges will collect and court will sell of vehicle to collect parking charges and he said it is all setting everywhere and everyone from surveyor, lawyers to courts will only take money from you with no justice. He said the person who wrote the constitution was only a writer like you(I myself am a writer) but he said there is no law and it is only on paper and even Prime minister knows law is on paper that is why he is at the top post.
He said you better pay whatever they are asking and because it is your first car so you are paying for knowing what damages can occur. So he was telling indirectly better behave as a fool and get fooled and pay whatever they ask and do not tell other people so they can also get fooled and pay money when same problem comes to them.
While selling car they sell saying all good things but when problems come we feel as if we have taken some curse on us the way they behave with us.
I was ready to scrap the car also to pay off the parking charges but the workshop manager insisted to repair it so hope you also buy this car and enjoy the damages.
The insurance is from Reliance Insurance company so I recommend you please buy this insurance as I did not get the insurance also and the insurance was taken by Renault and not me.
Excellent car for damage and after purchase the cost of spares is many times more than cost of vehicle and Renault person said some persons even willingly paid lakhs of rupees of parking charges when matter went into dispute in court.
So best of luck please buy these cars so everyone can make money from you in the long run.
