Exterior

new look exterior. looks smart. nice and curvy. very different from the shapes of the japanese and german cars in india so far.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

the front seats are good. the rear seat space could have been better. it should have had leather seats. the dashboard could have been better finished. The music system is good(smooth bass) and interesting controls just behind the steering wheel. The self start and smart key were good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

The engine did sound a bit more than it should from inside the car. I drove the diesel version. the gearbox was smooth and excellent. I just test drove it, so cannot comment on the fuel efficiency.

Ride Quality & Handling

I thought the ride quality was good and surprisingly easy. the vehicle stayed well in my control. City driving was good as I drove in pretty dense traffic. The pick up was a bit of a let down, but I was not able to really test the car due to the traffic. The power steering was a delight. Overall I thought it was a pretty good drive and a very easy car to handle.

Final Words

For a car in the 15 lac segment, I thought the car was good. It does come loaded with features. It was an easy car to drive and the gear box and the steering remained the highlight. The interiors have to be better for a car which cost that much. Though the interiors are smart, but the japanese cars have given us more now. The looks and styling are new and adds a new dimension to the car market in india. Overall a good car.

Areas of improvement  

I would look for leather seats at that price. The pick up needs to be a shade better.
