Exterior The looks are just perfect. The best looking compact SUV in India so far. The woodland brown color looks great. The back is awesome with large D U S T E R words engraved on the boot. Alloys are good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is nothing special. It requires a 100 changes. The plastic is cheap, TEST DRIVE car's door lock was broken. Dealer was holding the door while I took the test drive. LOL. His excuses was someone smashed the door very hard. The car was driven only 3500kms.

Comfort is very good. I HATED the rear a/c placement. It looks ridiculous and gets in way if you eant to move from one seat to another.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its rocket. I could feel the turbo immediately at 2nd gear crossing 20km speed. I love this pickup its like driving a sedan like Skoda Rapid.

Ride Quality & Handling Superb ride quality and handling was also good. I own and drive Tata Safari from last over 10 years and now driving this compact SUV was like driving a fast sedan car but powerful feeling of SUV too.

Final Words Yes, it lacks a lot of things but I LOVED its mileage part (hope its as it claims) and the pickup.

Areas of improvement Interiros. Plastic quality. Doors make a lot of noise when shut. Stereo/Call buttons on steering itself and not on the side under the steering. Rear a/c placement.

I booked my Duster RxZ on 26th June. They told me to expect delivery in October 1st week. Can't Wait!! :D

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent comfort,spacious,well featured,airy interior,good head and legroom.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very very refined engine,gear is very soft,easy for city drive,excellent road grip,according to dealer fuel economy is 15-16 in city and 21 in highway.powerful AC.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality,you will not feel 85 PS engine is underpowered or something.pick up is as good as 100 or 110 PS engine of other company like tata or mahindra.adequate for city ride or occasional highway ride.frequent highway rider go for 110 PS.

Final Words Much better than maruti ertiga.people having a budget of 10 Lakh and want a good mileage suv. This is the best option.but those having a budget of 12 to 13 Lakh go for XUV 500.

Areas of improvement COMPANY SHOLD MAKE IT MORE VALUE FOR MONEY.IN 10 LAKH BUDGET YOU ARE NOT GETTING.  ABS,AIRBAG,ALLOY WHEELS and REVERSE PARKING SENSOR.but it is a excellent car.renault done another good job.

Hello everyone my name is Rohit, Jaipur ***I am a prowd owner of duster rxe 85 ps after a thorough research. I hope my review would be of some help as I am not a professional reviewer. So here it goes. I went to the renault showroom in jaipur for a test drive where I saw duster for the first time. its a pretty good looking sturdy car. this ansers the question that exterior is pretty good. I got a 110 ps rxz version for test drive, as I got in the car to drive the interiors were simple and not over the top. It had an audio sys with a bluetooth. However as everyone has complained that the audio controls are at the back of the steering and its hard to use.even the side view mirror adjuter is under the lever of hand brake so even that is not easy to control. I test drove rxz 110 ps and it was a pleasure to drive as the steering was very light and was easy to drive. Pickup was pretty good. gears were very soft, so no probs with that. The only thing which bothered me was the rear a/c vent, which actually looked like a snake in between of the seat, and also took a lot of space so might be a problem for the person sitting in the middle. after test driving rxz 110 ps. I test drove rxe 85 ps. as i got in the car there was no audio sys and no rear a/c vent and also without side view mirror adjuster which was ok as it was already hard to use. For my surprise liked its black and gray color combination interior better that the rxz's baidge interior. I test drove it and found there was hardly any difference in the pickup and the drive quality was exactly the same. At that some moment I decided and booked rxe 85 ps. Rear sitting is pretty comfortable, I booked the car and was promised for the delivery by 7 th august. however as promised the dealer failed to deliver the car and asked me to go for rxl version which was a lac expensive and was readily available, I declined and after a lot of confrontations at last I got my duster rxe 85 ps on 7th sep 2012 and it has already done 1700 km and no probs at all as I did a bit of off roading on this to my farmhouse and it was gr8. no probs so far and even the mileage is good . im glad that i waited for this verion as it is value for money, I have also installed a better audio sys with bluetooth..as per my opinion go for an rxe. Exteriore Good looking and eye catching. But side indicators are not integrated with sde view mirrors. Parking assistance could have been improved with camera ! (afraid of cost rocket ?!!!!)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Moderate space. Driving seat is not comfortable for tall @6ft. There is no height adjustment for the driver seat ( I own 85ps option pack, it cost me around 11.4l on road) Some switches are placed without any sense !AC features are very much disappointing at this price tag. There could have been automatic climate control !!!!!!. I am not happy with central lock . Manual door lock while moving is very cheap when it comes to Renault Nissan . Or do they think that it is enough for Indians ? ??? This is something which we won't expect from this auto maker !

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I say it is wonderful in all respects for a person like me!

Final Words Worst dealer! Think of introducing more dealers to improve services. Please do not underestimate indian customers!.The dealer is charging Rs7000/-(seventhousand only) as handling charges( for what ? or for 5L of diesel?)).

Areas of improvement Please provide (atleast) door mats  as courtesy! For this we should run from shop to shops ! Shameful. Prak assistance, featured AC, Interior quality, Driver seat adjustments.

THE EXTERIOR IS THE MOST GOOD LOOKING AMONGST ALL THE SUV'S ON INDIAN ROAD , PERSONALLY I FIND IT EVEN BETTER THAN CAPTIVA AND AT PAR WITH HYUNDAI TUSCON. THE LOOKS IT GENERATES ON THE ROADS IS AWESOME. FEEL PROUD TO DRIVE ONE.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) THE FEATURES ARE ALL THERE EVERYTHING YOU THING IN EVERYDAY DRIVING LIKE ABS, POWERFUL A.C, HEATER, WINDOW DEFOGGER, REAL WIPER, MUSIC SYSTEM AND BLUE TOOTH. THE MOST APPEALLING PART OF THIS DEAL IS THE RIDE QUALITY WHICH DUSTER OFFERS. IT IS SIMPLY PHENOMINAL. YOU WILL NOT FEEL ANY POTHOLES WHILE DRIVING EVEN ON A BROKEN ROAD. THE SUSPENSION IS REMARKABLE. IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE FLOATING IN DUSTER. REAR SEAT COMFORT IS ALSO VERY GOOD AND PREMIUM.

ENGINE IS WELL KNOWN FOR ITS DRIVABALITY AND PERFORMANCE. IT DOES ITS DUTY VERY SILENTELY AND DUTIFULLY. YOU WON'T FEEL ANY SOUND IN THE CABIN AND IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHERTHER YOU ARE IN A PETROL OR DIESEL DUSTER. PICK IS REAL FAST AND AT THE PRESS OF THE PEDAL.

Final Words I ALREADY HAVE A VERNA FLUIDIC AUTOMATIC FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS BUT STILL I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS MACHINE BECAUSE IT TICKED ALL THE RIGHT BOXES FOR ME. LIKE IT IS VERY GOOD LOOKING AND PERFORMANCE AND FUEL ECONOMY IS ALSO THE BESTIN THIS SEGMENT. THE KIND OF CUROSITY IT GENERATES ON THE ROADS IS TO SEE TO BELEIVE.

Areas of improvement NONE, IF ONLY I COULD HAVE GOT IT FOR A LITTLE LESS I WOULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST HAPPY PERSON ON THIS FORUM. NONETHELESS IT WAS A DREAM TO OWN ONE AND FINALLY IT HAS COME TRUE.

THE MOST DASHING SUV ON INDIAN ROADS IN THIS PRICE BANDPRICE IS ON THE HIGHER SIDE

I purchased Renault Duster 110 PS RXL Diesel 4 months back. Have already driven more than 10K kilometers... Initially I was a in a dilemma on seeing multiple negative reviews here. But, after owning the vehicle and driving a few thousand kms, I really don't feel any reason to regret my decision. Most of the negative ratings are based on poor after sales service by Renault, but I feel that it has been improved a lot. Duster is awesome in looks and performance. Gives good fuel economy, excellent comfort, great performance... Duster is the best SUV in the segment.

I purchased the vehicle 4 Months back and have already driven 10K kilometers.

I really like the vehicle, and would recommend the same to everyone. So if you like the vehicle, go for it... Don't really mind the negative reviews here.

My car have been given to Khivraj Renault service centre, mount road,chennai  for second service with some minor problems on 12/09/2014. they promised me to deliver it on 13/09/2014. When I received my car I found my ipod is missing and even they didn't service my car properly as the problem are still there. It was really a bad experience leaving my car in the service centre as 1.my ipod is missing 2. Given complaint mentioned in job card not done 3.compnay recommened OE products very bad fitting. 4.exterior was not cleaned after the wash. 6.Windshield was very dirty. My service attender couldn't reply to these issues properly and calling the mechanic to fit it at the time of delivery. when I asked my service attender that I should meet the manager but he said he is not avaiable and trying to send me off from the service centre I have written a mail to Vimal chordia, not sure whether I will get a reply or not Anyother alternative to claim my complaint regarding my missing ipod? But I wish to take a serious action instead of ingnoring these things!

I over all like the performance of the renault duster but these GOOD CARS LOOSE REPUTATION BY BAD SERVICE CENTRES.

Final Words I am using the Duster (110 PS-RXL Diesel) for the past 25 months and done 59000 kms. I have spent more than 60000 rupees only for periodic services. I had to change the drum,brake pad etc twice during this period which cost dearly. High maintenance cost due to frequent replacement of many critical parts of the vehicle, which indicates  poor quality materials used. Had to take vehicle for service before the stipulated time due to various complaints. The service provided by the dealer has detoriated over a period. Many complaints raised by me related to the faulty electric system were not attended properly  by the dealer due to lack of knowledge. Not worth the price.

Areas of improvement Only engine is reliable..all other materials are inferior in quality. Interior features also need improvement. Service standard should improve.

Fuel efficiency, not bad in off roading, good style.Frequent replacement of break pad,drum etc, hence high maintenance cost

it s very good and amezing suv car in few budget and this car is very comfortable and smoother i purchased in 2014 and agin new duster was purchased in 2017 its suspension power stearing and seating is very comfortable and boot space is very good in this sagment and service charge is very low to campare to VW.
