Exterior Very asthetic.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good. But left leg of driver will foul with dashboard and will irritate the driver constantly.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox While releasing the clutch there is a gerk. Not as smooth as skoda. The dealer could not rectify and claims there is manufacuring error.
Ride Quality & ndling Found it quite ok.
Final Word Will not recommend to chauffer driven. The owner sitting in rear seat wiill contantly see the glass lowering when he rests his hand on the handrest. The moment the elbow touches the power switch the window glass lowers.
Areas of improvement the power switch is situated on the centre of hand rest on rear seat. It should be relocated on compaign basis even for exisiting cars or else the owners will be cursing daily as I do. There is alreay a dummy switch provided below the handle. The person answering the calls at Noida are rude and cannot convinc and solve your problems. t y et are more like call centre employees. Denior person thinks it is below his dignity to talk to customers.

Its been 25K Kms with my dusty and i m completely satisfied with him.
Exterior Rugged luk but one has to be carefull about the hunched cornerswhile taking close calls.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors as everyone say could have been better, but space and comfort is best in class.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Constanly has achieved above 15 kmpl. no complaints anywhere, have reached 170km just like that.
Ride Quality & Handling Grt quality, as me n my frnds used to push the cars to their max perfromance, the handling during long drives and hill climbings the car performed the best in this category.
Final Words A best highway and off road car, lacks a bit in city driving (but not much)

Areas of improvement Service and Customer Care, The service Centres are far off, from Cities, They should have Franchisee with other dealers, The Spares not available for 1 month.
They should improve their Customer Network Like Maruti and Hyundai if they want to really Surivive in India otherwise in next 5 yrs Down fall Trend will start.No Pick and Drop service is provided by Service Centres. Road Assistance is Fine, but takes 2 hours standing on the Road waiting for the Call centre persons to arrange a mechanic.
My Recommendation is to improve the service and concentrate on it to improve its sales. Presently they are only cocentrating on Urban areas now they should focus on Rural area also.
I have driven close to 30000 km.

Exterior The looks are a treat to everyones eyes the car has got attitude which u will love everyone will stop and stare. unfortunately the duster is prone to get scratchs in the rear wheel area as it is a bit bulged and a driver must have a good perception of the car before he drives.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) For the price you pay the duster is offering you fewer features compared to hyundai. But by adding 1.5 lac to the cost of an i20 you are getting a SUV which is great the car has got good seating position and no bucket seats which can add comforts to a tall people the car works tirelessly on long drives and the car feels planted even above speeds of 120 kmph which is a great advantage.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is a proven engine. The car looks togive less economy on cities but it give decent mileages on highways. Gearbox is not perfect but manangeable.
Ride Quality & Handling The car will give great amount of satisfaction of driving a big car. but handles like a smalll car even on city roads.
Final Words The customer service of the renault is pathetic and it needs to improve a lot.

Lag in the engine & with four passengers on board it drives like a overloaded truck, Kpl claim over 20, achieved after 18 months of driving is on highways 13 kmpl and in city 11 kmpl. Pathetic- must sue the company for false claims of milage

Please refer to the attached mail to get a brief about the whole issue that we are facing. We purchased the Duster keeping in mind the superior performance and service that is provided by Renault (a French-European brand). But I am extremely sorry to say that your dealing of my issue puts Renault and your organization in very bad light.
The brief reply by Renault Customer service team makes it amply clear that there is no intent from your end to try and realize that the whole issue happened due to a technical glitch in the car. There was never a warning light as has been emphasized by me time and again. A vehicle in the price variant of duster needs to show the warning light to show that there is some issue with the engine on other Parts. Also as stated by me, it was clearly told to the Service Centre representative to service the car when it had gone for accidental repairs. Then why has it not been done? What is the use of getting Systematic SMS when my request for servicing was not honored? I would also point out that the service center has given a response that the second service wasn't carried out on time & this resulted in the engine failure. Your garage was closed for three months due to an issue with the port trust where in the service center shifted from the Port Trust Area due to some eviction issues and we were repeatedly told that the issue will get solved in 2 months and it took close to 3 months to get sorted out. Stop Cheating customers.

My car problem still not resolved yet since last 2 years I am taking follow with you and your authorized service center. I have given my car to service 30 times in 48 months only for repeated issues and now I am not getting any response from your side. Now, I am requesting to you give Rs 2 lakh as compensation amount as unable to use my car for long drive, no trust on car, unable to drive in nights, females are not safe in car in night drive, passengers are not safe as petrol smell is also coming. Below issues are still need to resolve, all below are pending since last 2 years.
1. Jerking issue, comes any time and gone after engine switch off, reoccur again any time. I have given evidence so many times to you.
2. Gear shifting is hard.
3. Engine stopped suddenly, any time.
4. Fuel meter is incorrect, running 5km only in reserve. In Reserve 4-5 liters fuel available and running only 5km, either fuel meter is not correct or car giving mileage below 2-3 KM.
5. Some Time RPM fixed on 2. Without pressing race and clutch.
6. No AC cooling in car, as service center also replaced the AC related parts.
7. Gas in fuel tank due to this unable to fill petrol in fuel tank. Fuel nozzle cut automatically.

Ride Quality & Handling I got the car down and engined breaked by a jammed dynamo or electric generator after 38 000 Km.
Final Words Poor components and auxiliary systems. The air conditioning compressor was down after 30 000 km and the alternate current generator went jammed breaking the engine in the middle of the road after 38 0000 Km. This shows poor reliability of built in components and units. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED IN RENAULT, it looks as if all components are timed to be down after 30 000 to 38 000 km.
Areas of improvement I have an accident/ event report from the Tribology, spare parts, and Mech. Design center at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University indicating all poor reliability items and I AM GOING TO PUBLISH IT IF NO ACTIONS ARE TAKEN TO COMPANSATE FOR SUCH FAILED ITEMS AND THE CAUSED IMPARESMENT.
