Exterior Good. The Car gives an elegant looks. Definetly a head turner.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Audio system could be better, space and comfort is excellent. Elders find this car as very comfy comparable to sitting in a sofa.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance and fuel economy is Very Good, Gear Box is Average . isnt smooth as expected in this category.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good and the handling is on par bcoz of poor braking system I wonder whether the ABS is for name sake

Final Words Great car but with poor braking system. Had contacted the company several times about the braking system. But the response was this is the best braking system you can get in a car. I do have maruti sx4 comparing the brake brake system with sunny iwouldnt even give 1 star for braking system. Hope the company takes a serious step to improve or replace with a better breaking system.

Areas of improvement Brake and Gear.

I am writing this review after driven few hundred kilometers. I had this car only for two months since my friend asked me to take care since he went abroad.

Exterior Side view is very good. Front look is very ordinary.Back view is ok. It's style is ordinary looking. Not so impressive.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior colour is dull. Not so impressive. Space is very very good. 3 persons can seat freely without rubbing shoulders.But since tigh support is not ok.so for long drives will not be good. C-pillar roofline may hit for tall pasengers. Auto climate control is very good feature and I like the feature of fan for rear passngers.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shifting & Brake is Ordinary. But the engine performance is very good. steering is also responsive. Mileage is very good if you maintain the speed between 70 to 90kmph.I got 23kmpl in highway. City conditions i got 16kmpl.

Ride Quality & Handling Highways & city driving is good. In highspeeds we can hear engine noise & road noise. noisy cabin.I am not confident driving more than100kmph since vehicle stability not so good. we can feel vibrations in high speed..

Final Words Overall this car is ok for this price. Really a CAAAR on space.

Areas of improvement NVH levels to be reduced. Tigh support for passengers to be increased.

Exterior Good exterior, good looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors, very good quality music system, good quality seats, great space which u will never fing in any car of this segment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good fuel economy in petrol, 11 kms/ltr  in city of mumbai and highway 15-17 kms/ltr. slight hard gears as compared to toyota ethios. minor a/c noise only while starting the car. very  powerful a/c.

Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth ride, great grip on highway, very smooth steering 

Final Words Great value for money, one of the best car in the segment. this car is a blinder to buy, just go for it, its a world wide proven car since last 45 years. 

Areas of improvement Need to improve on dealership network. for after sales service. ichibaan has too much of load as compared to the no of cars sold, thus poor after sales service.

Final Words I had a nightmare experience with my Nissan dealer in Chennai - Jubliant Nissan. The promises that were made at the time of booking was not met. Need to run behind the sales rep for the timely delivery of the car. Also the there were damages to the car at the time of delivery, when I first too the car from the showroom it had already run 170kms. I coudnt give it back as it had been registered in my name at that point in time. Jubliant has the least respect for their customers. Strongly advice not to go with that dealer. The car as a whole is a good product but in the hands of wrong people.

Areas of improvement Should build strong and good dealer network.

Very good product, good driving pleasure, perfect competition for VernaWorst Dealer network and least respect for the customers.

Final Words If any one wants  good vehicle, Don't go for NISSAN. I have given vehicle for first service. Observed Squeeling noise from Front disc brakes. Vehicle sent to Laxmi nissan service center ( Kukatpally), At least nissan people are not able to find out the noise problem. The sound is coming like Lorry Brakes.

I think suitable technical staff not available at service centers. Quality wise also Nissan cheating the customers. Front Disc brakes are out for 8000 Kms only
I am using HUNDAI verna(60,000 Kms, Disc brakes replaced at 28000 KMS)and Mahindra Bolero (13480 Kms there is no single scratch on Disc brakes) so new buyers pls think about Quality.

Areas of improvement Don't make low quality vehicles, Main things  Brakes and Gear box. we are feeling very shy to drive this vehicle, because of brake noise. service people are simplly telling to spend money for Repair.

Exterior -

Though the the car has a suttle styling and exceptionally good paint quality, the sheet metal is pretty thin and is prone to dents prettly easily. My car has developed minor dents on the bonnet over a period of time, and this has happened by the pressure that the car cleaning guy applies on the bonnet while cleaning (this has been accepted by nissan workshop staff that the sheet used is very thin)

The car is feature rich, my car is the diesel base version, but many a times when colleagues/friend take a ride in my car they are surprised to see that it has so many features for a base model. 

The downside is the colour of the interiors, after 1.5 years of use the interiors look pretty dirty (this is when it is only me and my wife using the car without any kids. The interior are also dull and boring, especially the speedo in the base model which feels like that of a maruti 800/alto.

Space is something that you cannot compare in this car. It has ample apace, talk about the cabin/boot. If using this as a chaeuffer driven car, you will feel like you are sitting in an accord/camary. The boot is equally huge, you can easily travel with two huge suitcases in the boot.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Fuel economy is the killer, you can get as high as 23 - 24 kmpl on the highways if you stick to 80 - 90 kmph on a decent highway without much of overtaking and gearshifts. In city like Delhi you can easily expect 19 - 20 kmpl and in Mumbai you can expect 16 - 17 kmpl.

Engine is sufficiently powered to help you in those quick overtakes in the city and the occasional street races. It is not on highways either. I have done 175+ kmph on my sunny. once on the highway you can effortlessly cruise at 100+

Gear box is not smooth, but by now i have got used to it.

The engine is a bit noisy at slow speeds and the cabin noise is significant. However once you cross 60 kmph it is hard to tell that it is a diesel motor.

Ride quality has been tuned to be a perfect city car however cornering on hills/ghats can be tricky at high speed.

Final Words

After driving this car for 1.5 years and 35000 kms on the odo, with ample space, comfort and amazing fuel economy i am a happy Nissan customer.

I have just got 3 services (service interval of 10000 kms) done so far and the average bill was 5K.

Areas of improvement  

I miss a USB compatibility missing with the stereo. Interiors could have looked more exciting and a better interior color scheme is welcome.

After sales is also an area where Nissan needs to focus.

Even in metros like Mumbai the avg. wait time for servicing is 2 days. 

 

Fuel Efficiency, easy city driving, Value for MoneyInteriors

Exterior Good quality painting, Looking not bad, looks like corolla in size.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spent about 12,000 for seat cover to look good inside. I am not happy with the music system, because no USB support.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine:  I am not feeling as good as dizire, some kind of noise from it. Fuel economy is good, I used to get 18, even though my driving is in hurry always. Gear shifting is better than Dizire, smooth.

When I bought the car, breaking was not smooth, but when Nissan recalled many thousand cars, I got replacement of some breaking parts, then that problem did not occur. I think in the latest cars they got some latest breaking technology.

Ride Quality & Handling I drove about 23,000km in about 10 months, no complaint about ride quality and handling.

Final Words Good for the money, compared to Corolla abt 20 lakhs.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its 12th FEB 2012 I bought my XV diesel, I ave driven 39000 kms as on date , engine performance is good, economy is @16kmpl in hyd city, and @23kmpl on high ways. i usually drive my m/c mostly in hyd. city and on highways say starting from hyd towards vijayawada , ananthapur, tirupathi, solapur etc.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is good, but i feel the tyres of this machine has to be bit wider in order to give better road grip. during some small curves i feel like its about to skid.

Final Word This machine needs slight refinement in terms of interiors &  tyres. yet a value for money car, a car which can take any kind of road and traffic. fuel economy is what iave been heavily satisfied with.

Areas of improvement Interiors to be furnished with more attractive colours etc.. space for carrying water bottels in the rear doors is important, bluetooth and GPS if provided would be an added advantage to the owner.

Just to share my feedback in regards myNISSAN SUNNY CAR-XV  (TN 07-BT-3570) White Colour Which I bought in 28-December 2012 unfortunately my car met with accident on 30/01/13 and I left my vehicle for accident repair in Jain Jubilliant kirugambakam Service Centre

I was really very happy to purchased Nissan product, but at the same time I had a little disappointment with the service centre because I was serviced my car nearly six times for the last year in the Srinivasa Car Care service centre even though I am not satisfied about their approach and service.

Here I want to say something about Mr.PRABHU he is working as a manager of JAIN JUBULIANT Car Care kirugambakkam at Chennai. Last week I went to my own town from Chennai, during that time I met an accident. in this accident  front side  of my car fully damaged, by the helping of toll free service people I committed to handed over my car in JAIN JUBILLIANT  Car Care .under the supervision of Body Shop Manager "PRABHU" ,such a wonderful person he is very calm and quit but his action is very fast like TSUNAMI. From his talent my car completely recovers from the damage in very short time and even in claiming also he had provided me the best in class service before day of delivery of my vehicle even at  05/02/14 - 07.30PM - with economically Iam really very proud of his service.
