Exterior The car is superior in design,external controls(keyless) and aerodynamics.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is extra ordinary when considering the outer size of the car and unique in the segment. Seats are not above average but could have modified with a little care.Driving comfort is above average but the driver always sit in discomfort.Positioning of driver seat and steering need to be reviewed by Nissan enginneers(tilting feature has no help in this regard).Interior finishing is classy.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is power packed and such one is not available in the segment .I have test driven liva,polo,beat,figo,fabia and swift.Liva has no powerful engine,it is noisy,its brakes are poor so that abs is provided in all variants whereas even the full option vehicle have no stereo. When you operate the power window,the entire door would vibrate due to poor quality of sheet metal.Polo is bad only for its weak engine. 3 cylinder engines are not suitable to Indian conditions.Beat is cheep but has no space especially in back.Swift with Mruti's diesel engine and gear box(presently not those of Fiat) cost Rupees 7 lacs and if you see anybody who buy swift for 7 lacs you should beware of that man because that person may do any stupid things again.The keyless feature and advanced engine,gear box of micra(diesel) is superb.If you take the key in pocket while leaving home you would not have any need to take it out except to replace it on reaching home. THIS IS THE KEY FEATURE OF THE CAR.Mileage is excellent.It is relevant to note that Nissan Micra and Renault Pulse are same car as Renault share the plat form of Nissan and Nissan use the engine and gear box of Renault.If you can ignore the brand value of Nissan defenitely you should think about Micra before buying a Nissan Micra.I use Micra with satisfaction especially since it has no rival for the time being.

When Nissan Micra was launched sometime in June,2010, we were just looking for that level of car & coincidentally we got chance to take a trial of Nissan Micra. The features of the car were amazing (Size & rate sector) & so booked the vehicle. After many pursuance we got the vehicle in August,2010 (Pursuance as it was a new vehicle & had initial demand).
It is a very easy vehicle to drive & fun to drive on highways & in the city as it has a good turning. The grip on highway is very good and so very comfortable driving at the speed above 80Km. The feauture of key less operations are excellend. Climate control & other features of air conditioning are excellent(We have yet to check the real handling summer when Ahmedabad temperature touches 45C). Seating comfort is also good.
Now the bad part. We hardly expected compromise on quality & service from Nissan. The car had noise while breaking. The average is really poor below 14Kmpl while claiming above 18Kmpl. And the worst thing is service. My car has already gone three times for the same problem of break noise it has not been sorted out. My first service has also been a bad experience with washing not done properly,not cleaned from inside. Filters changed but the old filters were not given back. They are not committal about the average. Being 3 cylinder the engine noise is also very high,it is like a diesel vehicle. In all it is not a complete car.
Being faceless companies only thing missing is `Human Touch’. Whom to complain, where to complain. Only Email, where we get complain numbers which are never followed up by company.
They say `Drive simpler, Live better’.
I say `Driving me crazy & live tough handing Nissan people.’

Exterior Very Good Exteriors, Funky Bug, I Have take Brick Red which is very attractive with good curves. Taken Micra XVD Delivery on 1 July 2012, Delivery given within 4 Days of booking (4Days for Loan formality).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Most Featuristic Car, Button Start, Auto Mirrors, Like Next Generation Car, Space is Roomy Leg space, Its Sedan Space in Hatch Back, Comfort is good, I dont feel that am driving Diesel Car unlike Polo, Punto & Swift Diesel feel in drive.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is Very Good in Initial Torque as if am pulled with excess power, No Turbo Lag, Once u reach 100 u feel u need little more Power then what it has, Never Mind I hardly go above 100 with NCR traficc.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is WOW.
Final Words Its VFM Car, I took Test drive of Punto, Polo, Etios Liva & Swift & Finally settled with Micra. Mileage no Idea, I filled Deisel full tank & driven 150KM, My Decission was initially for Liva where I decided to book, But my wife didnt like Liva interior so settled with Micra with Risk of not knowing how is Nissan Service in India.
I hope they will give good service, I am not clear what is intercal of service, As dealer himself is not clear on what is mentioned in Service Handbook, GO for MIcra if u need Featuristic Car with Good Interior but keep in mind of taking Service feedback, I have purchased without any knowledge of Nissan Service.
Areas of improvement Micra should have EBS in High end & Bluetooth / USB in Audio though Audio Quality is good. Micra need little more Power (BHP) for Size of Engine (1461CC) it has though the current Power is Enough for me.

Its my new car, driven around 1000 Kms in 1 month. I Have chosen nissan micra, because of its quality. The materials used (including steel ) almost they are trying to aling with Global Standards.
Exterior Looks good, All the available colors gives good looks to micra, stylish exterior, funcky design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space are well managed ,you get in /get out from the car without giving stretch to your body. the leg room is appreciatable. the seats are not soft , that means the life and comfort of the seat will be good after few years. 2012 onwards you have the head rest as well in rear . Audio is good , But missing USB is surprising, NISSAN should have noticed for this country version.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is awesome, the moderate tuning , given torque and power is well enough set for better driving. it wont push you fast and it wont let you with less pick up. Gear box is so soft , not like a diesel engine at all...cluth , brake , escal ..given in step down as like bigger vechiles ...will get you the long life clutch. But some people may feel little diffcult to handle. Not big one, but enough boot space!
Ride Quality & Handling Good suspension . you go @ 140 kmph..vechile gives wonderful stability. But worry is no ABS, when there is sudden brake.. :-( dont know how you are going to handle !! Little body role is there becaues of the soft suspension. But in zig zag road you will enjoy!!
Final Words Its definetely worth buying car.
Areas of improvement ABS must on highways ...I think government should make mandatory to all vechiles.

Exterior Unique, elegant, front chrome is a beauty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Rich features with auto a/c, start / stop button, auto open and close for side rear view mirrors. Bluetooth, export quality fittings, space is comfortable for both front and rear rows, boot is sufficient for short trips, safety features are great too with twin airbags, controls on steering are neat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox With 100% driving in City traffic mileage has been 14+; butter smooth drive with CVT.
Ride Quality & Handling Absolutely fine; solid braking, right weight on steering, the overdrive facility is just awesome; used it a couple of times while overtaking and the power made me feel confident
Final Words If you are liking for a car for city use, just buy this. Value for money too
Areas of improvement Servicing scope and pricing needs to be more transparent; good if Nissan engineers check the dealers frequently; sometimes the Bluetooth phone call list display hangs up.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Design of dash board is amazing. It is spacious inside like a mid sedan, but its outside looks seems like a small car. Seating and driving comfort in front is very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pick up, A.C. is also very good. Gear shifting seems to be bit tight, but O.K.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is superb. It is so handy. Tilt steering add to its driving comfort.
Final Words I like the car very much. I love my MICRA. Thanks a lot to the NISSAN team to bring a world class car to India.
Areas of improvement Lower head rest of rear seat. Rear seat width should increase a little bit. You could have provide additional glove in the front for XL model also, as we are paying much more for it. You can also provide an option for ABS those who need for an extra cost in XL also.
Its exterior as well as interior is very stylish. fuel economy is excellent. Music system is superbLow head rest of rear seat and the width of rear seat is not sufficient.

Exterior Its up to individual taste but I love the exteriors. I love the old frog shaped design, very british, no i20 or punto or polo can put on a fight. For me its a beauty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Drove almost all its competitors before going for Micra. i20 to polo to punto to beat....this has the best features, great space and excellent comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It has clocked 1300 kms till date, have had one long ride of 300 odd kms, it gave 14.5 KMPL with 100% AC. Although 14.5 KMPL is shown on the computerized meter based on my calculation it gave me 16.4 KMPL. Filled it for 1000 bucks of petrol, about 17 lts of fuel and drove about 280 kms. I have maintained a below 100 speed to ensure engine gets some time to get settled. In city it is giving me 14.6 KMPL with 50% AC.
Ride Quality & Handling Has been flauless, just seems to get more smooth every morning I take it on a ride.
Final Words The best mid sized car around. Dont think twice, just go for this beauty.
Areas of improvement None as of now. Totally satisfied with the vehicle.

Exterior Nice looking front, excellent gear box and steering.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) AC is good, spacious.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Noise levle is high, Fuel economy is 12kmpl in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Too much body roll due to uneven design, back seates are horrible for long journey.
Final Words Think twice before making decision, go for top end version only.

While making decision to buy this car , please check where is your dealer located from your home or office. Most of the time customer care number is not in service. Once you get it luckily service is good. Please take test drive for at least 50 kms on rough road and where you can feel body roll. design is unstable . Product is very delicate so small dash and bumber gets into two parts. Fuel gauge has lot of problems, dosent show exact fuel, its just blinc and you may end up in middle of traffic with no petrol, basic car xe and xe plus has poor interior colour and almost no power windows, central locking, auto ignition , etc. so why to waste to money on basic model when there are many options available in market!

Optimal and nicely done. The dashboard is well toned and textured. The console looks attractive. The car feels open and airy.

There is a lag in pick-up. But when you accept it, you can plan around it. Nice and stable on highways with speed of 100 km/h/
Ride Quality & Handling
The steering is nimble with great turning radius. It has large wheels so feels planted on the road. The ground clearance is good, contrary to what I had heard.
Final Words
A good looking car and can be fun for city commute. Automatics area blessing and CVT seems to be the way to go for the future. I promises better fuel economy as well.
Areas of improvement
I waited to get delivery of the car several weeks after the payment was made. The car that was allotted was not delivered and then I settled for a colour that was available. Since existing paperwork had the details of the car allotted first, I had wait more. I got the car on July 31st 2013. The door has a slight dent; the bumper is uneven on the sides. But I was happy to have wheels again as my trusted Santro Automatic had start skipping gears after 10 years of daily use.
I bought the car from Zedex Nissan in East Delhi.
Last night the car had a breakdown with the starter motor burning out. The car was towed away to the workshop and I am waiting a response on what would the nature repair. Imagine the heart burn if the car develops a major component failure in the first month of use!
Please think twice if it is going to be your main and only car!
I am reminded of what a Honda dealer mentioned when turned down an Amaze booking to go for Nissan Micra. You maybe one of the many customers for the dealer but the car will perhaps be one of the main buy for a couple of years at least.
I am repenting and planning no letting go easily my hard earned money.

Exterior Good retro looks with new face make over as well as front grill with crome cover back light with led illumination look good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good comfort inside for small family with latest gismo like Stearing mounted audio and phone control climate control AC piano finished show case etc sound quality of music system is good plus it has options for driver seat adujsment.
Engine performance Engine performance is nice for city ride as well silent and smooth in sport mode you feel little beat thrill.
Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy in city is 11.7 and 13 on high way which is disappointed me in my 2000 km ride otherwise gear box performance of cvt technology is much joyfull then coventional gear box which deliver smooth ride in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is joyfull with haslefree gearshifing and hanling smooth.
Final Words Milage is disappointed me because company claims 19.34 km per litre but I m getting just 12 avg. in both city and highway.
Areas of improvement After sales and service is pathetic please do something for save Nissan.
