- Maruti Suzuki is considering sacking all the employees suspected to be involved in riots, at the Manesar factory on 18 July. - Renault Duster has bagged over 10,000 orders in less than one month. The French car maker is now planning to ramp up the production at the Chennai facility to meet the demand. - Hyundai has announced a recall of 1,99,188 units of the Santa Fe crossover and 22,512 units of the Sonata in US, due to faulty airbags. The recall has been limited only to US for now, and we are waiting for more information from Hyundai to find out if it will be applicable in any other global market including India.
