Its well known that Renault will launch five products till the end of 2012. But now the French car maker has shared more details on these vehicles.
First up following the Fluence will be the face-lifted version of the Kaleos SUV, the world unveiling of which will happen in two days from now.
The Koleos is a soft roader which will sport a diesel engine and an automatic gearbox to begin with.
More important is the launch of Renault's Swift challenger which will happen in January next year at the Auto Expo. According to Renault, its B-segment car which will share the platform with Nissan's small car the Micra, will make for a worthy alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Swift, be it in terms of looks, drivetrain or features.
The fourth product will be Duster. Again a soft-roader, the Duster will be produced at Renault's Chennai plant and promises great value for money. It will come loaded but will be priced significantly lower than premium SUVs in the segment. The Duster is expected to hit showrooms a year from now.
