In an attempt to revive its MPV sales in the country, Renault had recently introduced the Lodgy World Edition in the country. With an addition to the range-topping model in 85PS and 110PS trims, the automaker has silently discontinued the Lodgy RxZ variant. With this, the automaker has offered the 110PS option only on the World Edition variant.
As for safety, the top spec 110PS World Edition Lodgy from Renault only gets a driver airbag, while ABS is standard across the range. In an attempt to keep the price under check, the automaker has also eliminated the rear wash/wipe and defogger. Moreover, it has also been stripped down of features like steering mounted audio and phone controls, touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, reverse sensor/camera, driver armrest and cruise control.
The Renault Lodgy is powered by a 1.5-litre engine which generates two power tunes – 84bhp and 200Nm of torque; and 108bhp at 245Nm of torque. However, the bigger power output version will only be offered in top of the line World Edition. The current Lodgy line-up in the country is as follows (All prices, ex-showroom Delhi) –
