Next-generation Toyota Innova launched in Indonesia at Rs 13.66 lakh

The next generation Toyota Innova has been launched in Indonesia in the price range of 282,000,000  Rupiah (Rs 13.66 lakh) to 423,800,000  (Rs 20.52 lakh).  It is available in 13 variants, two engine and gearbox options as well as six colour options.

 

The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that produces 137bhp and 183Nm of torque while the diesel is a new 2.4-litre unit that produces 147bhp and 342Nm of torque. Both engines can be had with a five-speed manual or a six-speed AT. The latter is a major step up from the previous engine and this will be the first time that the Innova is being offered with an automatic for the diesel.

The next generation Toyota Innova is an important car for the Japanese automaker in the Indian market as it is the vehicle that gives them a significant amount of volume every month. Toyota is expected to showcase this next-generation Innova at the 2016 Auto Expo and will launch it by the middle of next year.
