Hyundai apparently has released a new teaser image of the new Tucson, a couple of weeks after showing off the vehicle’s design in an official sketch. The upcoming compact SUV will be shown on March 3 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
According to a few reports, Hyundai has announced that it will make do without the ‘ix35′ nameplate to revive the ‘Tucson’ brand for this compact SUV. Looking at the teaser image, the strong appearance of this model is clearly highlighted by the upright silhouette and the striking looking fog clamp housing. The equally fancy alloy wheel design is hard to miss either.
The old Tucson was unveiled in 2009 and in most markets outside South Korea, it was replaced with the ix35. While the latter isn’t expected to arrive in the Indian market, Hyundai India is expected to launch the smaller ix25 later this year.
